#OnThisDay November 5, 2013 @the_Last_LA released their seventh studio album #Danger. The band released their first album in 17 years since their last release #GinAndInnuendoes on SST records in 1996. The brothers Nolte (Joe & Mike) enlisted drummer Bill Stevenson & bassist Karl Alvarez which have been the rhythm section of the @descendents, ALL and the @thelemonheadsofficial. The cover art of the album was done by @raymond_pettibon_ who was basically responsible for the iconic logo of @blackflagband and other album covers and fliers. Additional artwork by Craig Ibarra also. I’ve seen The Last at #Stockage in Fort Collins, Colorado twice prior to the release of “Danger” but I wasn’t aware of the advance copy that had been floating around until my good friend @bearinasportscoat played me the entire album as we drove the streets of Los Angeles one afternoon. I was floored how great the album was. It was like an ALL album with The Last hooks and melodies. What a great album conceived by vocalist/guitarist Joe Nolte.
