I’ve always been fascinated by the aloof blondes in Hitchcock films and the untouchable beauty of Grace Kelly and Catherine Deneuve for example. For this photoshoot we thought it would be appropriate to create an atmosphere resembling the Harcourt studio photos. I made these Scribble earrings and necklace with acetate sheets - I love the contrast between the contemporary jewellery and a very classical pose. A mi chemin entre le présent (avec des bijoux contemporains) et le passé (avec une pose très classique digne d’une actrice d’un film de Hitchcock). Un photoshooting sous le thème du Cinéma et des accessoires que j’ai créé qui jouent sur les notions de la transparence et du dessin. When I create an accessory I very often start with a material and just let my ideas flow. I hardly ever draw the pieces beforehand as I prefer to directly work on the mannequin. This fascinator and necklace remind me of an exotic bird or maybe a cabaret dancer. The lighting and pose is very cinematographic so we called this fashion editorial Cinema. Un oiseau exotique? Une danseuse de cabaret? Tout droit sortie de mon imagination la plus cinématographique, voici une création qui sort de l’ordinaire. D’une légèreté extrême et tout en mouvement, ma femme fatale ornée de mes parures attisera toutes les attentions.
