2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

I definitely do a fair amount of planning before starting the writing process! I usually finish a ~3k chapter within 1 to 3 days, and having my thoughts sorted out definitely helps to shorten the time it takes to write. I prefer to hyperfocus on one specific project, and it’s just easier when I don’t have to stare at a blank document because I am not sure what’s gonna happen next. 

6. Do you have your work beta'd? How important is this to your process?

Yeah! If you don’t have any English speaking writer friends like me, Grammarly is a great option! Before I post something I also double-check grammar or specific wording and phrases with my boyfriend. English is his first language and it’s super helpful because I often write wacky word chains that do not make sense. :))) 

11. Link your three favorite fics right now

I don’t have any favorite cod fics to be honest, but here are some recs I could think of: In Stasis by yeyinde, Goodnight ghosts only i can see by themoonshoes, and Heavy Rotation by bugsigh.

I also recommend this fic! The author uploads so fast I can't keep up & Simon is written very well! The story is great too! :)

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

Marlene is good at keeping a straight face but isn’t good at thinking up plausible lies on the spot. If she’s had prep time she’s pretty good, but honestly in most of the situations where she would lie it’s a split second thing. She’s able to deflect a bit with sarcasm.

🍩 DONUT - favorite sweet treat?

SWEETROLL. SHE BEAT UP BUTCH FOR TRYING TO STEAL IT FROM HER.

🍃 FALLING LEAF - do they enjoy being in nature? what is their favorite outdoor activity?

Initially she was really scared of the outside world and had pretty bad agoraphobia. She has grown to like nature but doesn’t like being in flat, open plains like you might see in the Midwest. She very much dislikes the sea and water in general because she doesn’t know how to swim. This is very ironic because she lives on a boat for a good amount of time. Eventually she can doggy paddle but she hates it. Her favorite outdoor activity is to play fetch with her dog Tipper. In a modern AU she would enjoy going hiking with him as well.

🍀 CLOVER - do they believe in luck? are they lucky?

I feel like to be a protagonist who survives a Fallout game you have to have a base level of luck that is much higher than the average person. That being said, she’s not the kind of person to outwardly say she believes in luck, but she’s also superstitious in a quiet way. Like, she’s not sure if evil spirits exist but she’s going to throw a pinch of salt over her shoulder anyway, just in case, because it can’t hurt.

1. this was after my friend took me to see tros for my bday.... we went to target after and i was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the fabled Shopping Cart Shepherd. highlight of the night.
