Omg you did!?! How come I never saw your lil Easter egg under glitch mode sets!? I am a bad buddy for not noticing that jdjsdkdk but I do giggle we have glitch mode as a song. Someone from sm is a fan of our lil friendship xD jk! Now we have beatbox and I lean more into glitch mode personally? Both are good songs and fun ones but based on my listens, glitch mode is more. I did see a mutual make a hsm and beatbox gifset which makes me giggle because it very much is high school musical and I love it! A very well put album i agree, im trying to catch up because so many of my favs had comebacks and ontop of that I am a fan of a new group so I am all over with content lol (that and other things which I will get into a bit later)

Hey my dear glitch friend! I bet you didn't expect my sudden reply, but as I told you, things would get chaotic with my new office location and today I could finally get some rest.

My birthday gave me the right to get 2 days of rest from work today and tomorrow, thank goodness I was waiting for this day to come so fast! Not because it's my anniversary but because I really wanted to rest soooo badly! I worked so much this week and spending extra 3 hours per day stuck in traffic is the worst thing to me.. Thank goodness I convinced my boss to spend the rest of the week WFH.

Whoever came up with Glitch Mode, we surely sent some telepathic vibes of our friendship! You always come on my mind when it randomly comes out on my playlist.

More things happened since our last time we talked and NCT 127 anniversary made me feel a bit mushy, especially with Taeyong's messages, there was a lot to reflect and relate. Also it brought me back to 7th July 2019, when I saw them perform for the first time and we also spent their 3rd anniversary together in London. It was a beautiful happy memory but unfortunately..2019 ended up tragically for me, despite all the beautiful memories I collected through that year.

Because I can feel what you're going through, it was the same year my dad left us as well and it wasn't easy to get over it. Even these days I do think of the images I have stuck in my memory (it was a long fight and it didn't end up peacefully). I know I never openly talked about it here, because I would not stop crying once I would start writing my life story. I've seen lots of friends and people I follow here being more open about these things but I am the type to keep it for myself for a long time. Well I guess now that you talked about your hardships, you gave me the courage to open up myself.

I think the only one who can actually heal us is only ourselves and time. I couldn't find much comfort in other people's words and I know you must feel the same. On another note I wanted to encourage you to focus on things you love the most and hey! someone is debuting into cc's world! I think you'll catch up fast. When I look at my past creations, nothing looked pretty since the beginning, but I tried my best to satisfy myself until I could see positive reactions from other people as well. And it's sure, giffing was a huge source of self-healing for me. And I'm very thankful of thinking of my gifs as being the "next level" haha It already played on my head while I was writing it.

Once again I'm happy you felt comfortable enough to share your story with me. I will be around here for the next days, in the hopes we will get some pretty content soon to share. Sending you a big warm hug and lots of love ♡♡♡ Stay safe, don't skip your meals and keep hydrating yourself

♥︎ a/n: i'm not sure i like how this turned out :/ anyways ─ look, it's a luna gif that didn't make it into my gifset <3 and side-note, this is based off movie events since my last rewatch was more recent than my last re-read.

life-threatening, the feeling that was at this point all too familiar.

there was the wedding, bill and fleur's. death eaters attacked and you couldn't get to luna before hermione grabbed your hand, apparating into a muggle city for safety. in the heat of the moment, you'd cursed her, screaming at her for leaving your girlfriend behind.

not to mention how you'd gotten there, polyjuice hiding your identity and protecting harry's, racing through the sky and evading death eaters. you weren't entirely sure just how you escaped the killing curses shot at you, but you had, just barely.

then there was the attack in the diner, where your heart pounded so hard as you dodged sudden spells that you barely heard your friends’ screams for you to take cover. your assailants were obliviated, wiped of any memory that could implicate the four of you. grimmauld place was safe, for now, but there were still a bloody lot of scares and a bloody lot of nights where you barely slept.

coming face to face with umbridge again at the ministry, even in another poly-juice disguise, brought back the worst of your hogwarts years. the sheer terror of running until you could apparate was thrilling in the very worst way possible. the blood that spilled from ron's splinched arms paired with hermione's cries of distress were too much, you ran off harshly biting down sobs and got started on protection spells.

nasty fights amplified all of your pettiest grievances when you took turns wearing the locket. harry's built up anger lashed out, ron's jealousy turned him bitter, and your aching for luna and fear that she wasn't even alive anymore had you blaming the people who'd loved you through it all.

luckily, hermione got you and harry out of it, but ron stormed off after a heated exchange of poisonous words. he left and your stomach wrenched for days, becoming weeks.

nagini, that bloody snake. tricked the three of you who were left and you almost paid with your lives for it. narrowly escaping, but yet more stress and tension came ─ ron hadn't been seen or heard from and hermione had broken harry's wand in the fight for your safety. you all went to sleep drained that night. except for harry, of course, who stayed up and miraculously found the sword of gryffindor. he almost died for it, but ron returned and things were better. somewhat.

and there was today, when you'd followed a lead from harry's intuition and hermione's reading. the four of you made your way to xenophilius lovegood's home for answers. the excitement of seeing luna again thrilled you, gave you the hope you'd desperately needed as of late. but, of course, danger followed and that's not how the day went.

mr. lovegood revealed your greatest fear and everything stopped. “what the hell do you mean luna’s been taken?”

guilt and sympathy filled his eyes when he looked into yours and he didn't need to tell you that he was sorry as he summoned the death-eaters that would come to take harry. “stop!” you yelled, fighting to get out of harry's grasp. “stop it, they have luna!”

you went shrieking, screams not even audible amidst all the chaos. the four of you were together and in the blink of an eye, were now in the woods. “no!”

“y/n, calm down!” hermione grabbed your shaking hands and forced you to look at her, though your line of sight trembled since you were falling to your knees with sobs. “you wouldn't have done her any good dead, you know that. we’re going to save her, i swear it, but we can't do that if we let our emotions take over.”

you understood but that didn't lessen the pain. head falling between your legs, you didn't have the energy to shove off whoever's hand was on your shoulder.

“what good is saving the world if she's not in it?”

you managed, so quietly that you'd be surprised if any of your friends heard you. they must have, gauging by the deafening silence that followed. there was no answer, just the shuffling of feet and the sudden comfort of your friends holding you. they didn't judge your soft turned raw cries, instead showing you the love merlin knew you needed right now.

next came the snatchers. looking for any way to make their bank. after putting up a hell of a fight, it didn't matter because the snatchers, much too interested in young women, took you away. to malfoy manor.

“i don't know,” draco snapped when asked to identify you. you could tell though, it wasn't out of kindness, but out of fear. ron and harry screamed to take your place when bellatrix lestrange wanted to be alone with you and hermione, girl to girl.

“leave her alone!” you cried, being held back by narcissa malfoy. hermione was taken and you screwed your eyes shut, feeling hot tears escape into your sobbing mouth. every scream of hers was ear piercing and you hated every second of it. “please!”

“quiet, girl!” bellatrix spat at you, momentarily stopping her torture on hermione. in the blink of an eye, your friends and dobby were now with you, spouting spells of defense.

disarming and cries became background noise to you when you spotted luna. you met her blue eyes and ran right through shot spells, stopping only when you got to her. no words were needed, your hands cupped her dirtied face and you kissed her. your end was desperate, emotional, but luna's radiated gentle comfort. there was a crash and a sacrifice, “y/n, we've got to go!”

luna's hand intertwined with yours as you rushed to hermione's side. mumbles of assurance met her from all of you and her saddened gaze rose to you and luna. she smiled, softly. her eyes told you it was okay. go. she was well taken care of. returning her smile, promising to check on her later, you walked just a few feet away with luna. “i was so worried,” you breathed. “i was so scared that i'd lose you.”

“you won't lose me, y/n,” luna reassured you. her usually soft but now roughed fingertips brushed your skin, full of love. “but you know you can't stop now, what you've been doing with harry and the others.”

tears stung your eyes, realising she wanted you to let her go again.

“i don't want to leave you.” you answered stubbornly, the same tears that stung now falling down your cheeks. “i can't, luna, i love you.”

“i love you too y/n, so much,” she sighed sympathetically. it hurt her as much as it hurt you, maybe even more. “but we'll come back to each other in the end, won't we?”

of course, was your first thought. one day, you'd be married. this would all be over and you'd spend every day by her side. that made it worth it, even if you'd have to leave for now. cherishing the limited time you had together right now, you squeezed her hand tightly.

“i'll always come back to you, luna.”

and that was a promise.

Vol. CXXIV

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Hello my friends! We are here again in Purgatory of Love 2.0 and the ILY that did was, but writers wanted us to think it was hahahahaa. *I hate you Dabb*.

This is a summary of my meta from episode 15x09 with some new addition.

The Break is Huge

I'm just gonna point how bad things are between Dean and Castiel.

And I want to bring back here one scene I didn't put in the previous volume...

CASTIEL: No idea. He was very distraught.

DEAN: Yeah, but what exactly did he say?

CASTIEL: "Leave. Get out. I want you dead". We didn't bond.

Castiel uses this opportunity to remind Dean his own hard words to him the day he left. And Dean's face is priceless, that swallow showing he knows exactly what he said to Castiel. But, as always, he can't just use his words to ask for forgiveness.

Things are not okay... are worse than ever.

Coming back to episode 9, at the beginning, things are still bad.

Their fights are getting wilder, Castiel is plenty hones with his own frustration and anger against Dean, and it shows. He's just tired. Dean can't believe Castiel is calling him like that just because Castiel doesn't use that words with him. This was written to show us how bad things are between them.

And they kept fighting and fighting, and Dean trying to avoid Castiel when they arrive to Purgatory...

DEAN: (...)Okay. Let's split up.

CAS: What?

DEAN: You go that way. I'll go this way. We'll meet back at the Rift, alright? We'll cover more ground. We'll better our odds.

CAS: Yeah. We'll also improve our odds of getting lost or killed. Come on.

We can see here again, how tired Castiel is about Dean's childish behavior to not be alone with Castiel and not face him as an adult in an adult conversation. Just avoid the huge elephant. Right?

If we make an analysis about these two situations, we can conclude:

The important thing here, is that Castiel is the one thinking like a strategist, taking war decision, focused on the mission. Like the soldier he is, and Dean was so unfocused, that Cas had to take the command. The first time is when he made Dean decline his plan to rescue Sam and go to Purgatory for that blossom, and the second time was when they just arrived to Purgatory, Dean wanted to go separately, and Cas shoved that idea off. And after that, he said LET'S GO, so, Commander Castiel had given an order!!!! And Dean followed it!

Dean seemed to be uncomfortable by Castiel's side, that's why he proposed him to go separated, and that's why he named Benny. He needed a third one to avoid Castiel.

Another hard conversation is the one before they went into the trap.

CAS: Well, this place will bring that out in you. Guilt. It was my fault the Leviathan got out. It was my fault we were here the first time. I carry that guilt every day.

DEAN: I know you're sorry, Cas. About Bel, about Mom.

CAS: I was talking about Jack. I already apologized to you. You just refused to hear it.

DEAN: Sorry I brought it up. Maybe if you didn't just up and leave us.

CAS: You didn't give me a choice. You couldn't forgive me. And you couldn't move on. You were too angry. I left, but you didn't stop me.

Cas was honest again... The hard quote he threw Dean, after trying to show him he was sorry because of Jack, and he already had said I'm sorry to Dean, but he didn't want to listen, Dean couldn't move on. The hard quote came after Dean played his card saying Cas left, blaming him for leaving... The hard quote from Cas was... "I LEFT, BUT YOU DIDN'T STOP ME." This was like a bomb my friends!!! Dean remained speechless again!!!!

It's as if Cas was saying... 'You wanted me to leave. That's why you didn't stop me.'

Purgatory not only brings guilt, but also, purity of heart. It's about facing your deep and repressed feelings. And that's why it had to be here where Dean had to apologize and recognize his love for the angel... even when he didn't say ILY.

Love is in the Air

The Prayer

Dean lost Castiel again. And he is literally, DESPERATE. He doesn't know what to do, because he has been walking and looking for him, but Castiel is not there.

Finally, Dean succumbs on his knees, and prays to Castiel...

DEAN: Cas? Cas, I hope you can hear me... that wherever you are, it's not too late. I should've stopped you. You're my best friend, but I just let you go. 'Cause it was easier than admitting I was wrong.

I – Ohh. I don't know why I get so angry. I just know – I know that it's – i-it's just always been there. And when things go bad, it just – it comes out. And I can't -- I can't stop it. No matter how – [Sniffles] how bad I want to, I just can't stop it. And – And I – I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I'm sorry it took me so long – [Sniffles] I'm sorry it took me till now to say it. Cas, I'm – I'm so sorry. Man, I hope you can hear me.

The prayer exposed Dean's deep misery as a human, Dean talked about this toxic behavior, he know he acts like that, hurting people by his side, throwing his own guilt and fears against the ones he loves. He began the prayer with the last honest quote Cas told him... I SHOULD STOP YOU. When Cas left. Dean should stop him, why? BECAUSE YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND. I will stop in this quote... Dean is talking about him, he is not saying YOU ARE OUR BEST FRIEND, he is saying MY. That's a huge step, and also it is important to understand he is not saying YOU ARE LIKE A BROTHER, he is not putting Castiel in that position, as he did in episode 11x23, using the words BEST FRIEND, is a huge step for Dean.

He recognized he was angry, and he threw his crap to Cas, who had always been there.

Then he took the I'm sorry Castiel had said to him, several times, and he answered OF COURSE I FORGIVE YOU. Because how couldn't he? How couldn't he forgive Castiel? That's a huge quote there too, he is saying, no matter what Cas does or says, Dean will always forgive him, you do that just with people you love, deeply.

Then, he repeats I'm sorry a lot of times, with tears running on his face, that's heartbreaking, and that's too sincere. The huge fact is... He's kneeled down while he is asking for Castiel's forgiveness.

After this scene, we had the big Destiel reunion. They way Castiel says "You made it" to Dean and Dean confused gaze always got me. Because it's talking about the way Dean was able to find Castiel, and that was because they share a profound bond. That manifestation of their profound bond, gave me the idea about how Dean coul rescue Castiel from the Empty.

When Cas was talking how he escaped and got the blossom, Dean made this face... This is a face of someone about to jump to the pull. Anxiety, heart eyes, and tryin to encourage himself to do it. Do what? A love confession.

Dean was about to confess his love for Castiel here, I'm pretty sure right now, this was a symbolism to show the C*W won't allow this. That's why, before the last episode was aired, in the prologue in which they're showed a lot of mixed scenes and the cast was interviewed, they showed us the prayer again... because they wanted us to see DEAN SAID HE LOVED CASTIEL HERE, HE JUST DIDN'T SAY IT WITH WORD, BUT IN HIS MIND, IN HIS PRAYER. But that was not enough to us and to Dean. Because Dean needed to express his feelings and Castiel needed to hear he loved him.

That's why all the vomits, and gagging and spitting in this season, foreshadowing this moment. And it ends with Dean swallowing his words, again.

He was about to say it...

Here... What was Dean about to say? I'm sorry again??? I don't think so, he had let that very clear in his prayer, and he knows Cas heard him, because he always hears his prayers... Then? What was he about to say?? Adding the previous face we already analyzed... First the jumping into the pull face, going through some heart eyes session, now is time... For the love confession... But.. Cas avoided it...

Castiel had to avoid it because HAPPINESS, something he can't feel, yet.

Perfectly settled to hide the fact that C*W and some writers and producers didn't want Destiel to happen, right?

Cas thought Dean wanted to say I'm sorry again? No. I truly believe Cas knows what was Dean about to say.. because look...

Dean swallowed the I LOVE YOU for Castiel. He swallowed his words. Because THEY SILENCED HIM.

So, everything is solved. Castiel heard Dean's prayer in which writers want us to think he said it in the prayer. In his mind. And Castiel heard him.

But Dean couldn't close his character I Love Journey. And Castiel couldn't hear him say it back.

To Conclude:

The Destiel reunion was a beautiful hug, heart eyes, anxiety, butterflies in their stomachs, but it couldn't give Dean's character what they deserved: to express their feelings through his words.

But even so, They love each other so much, they always find each other.

Love Language miniseries for Shinran!

I dedicate this corny and cringe worthy miniseries to @meitanteisachi for giving me inspiration through her gifset and her wonderful fanfictions.

Acts of Service- a language that can best be described as doing something for your partner that you know they would like, such as filling up their gas, watering their plants, or cooking them a meal.

"Not sick, huh?"

Shinichi glared as Ran leaned back from the table, unamused. He was working on a difficult case in their—now only his— mansion, when she showed up unannounced after he forgot to attend school. He was wearing his school uniform but lost sense of time being too absorbed at the new case Inspector Megure gave him.

"I told you I'm fine." he avoided her scrutinizing gaze, being stubborn. Ran wouldn't have any of it however, bringing her left hand to her waist like a stressed mother.

"Fine? You're burning hot and your face is even redder than a traffic light!" she argued and his face produced an even darker shade, acknowledged.

He wanted to protest and retaliate how can it not be when she literally put her face in front of his without any sort of warning, brushing his unruly bangs upwards with her soft hand and letting their foreheads touch as he froze while she remained unbothered.

The detective restrained himself however, not wanting any further embarrassment to occur.

He heard a sigh from Ran, forcing him to turn around. She was now arranging the stack of messy papers and documents, bringing them to side.

"Oi, what are you doing?" he frowned as he stood up from the swivel chair and held Ran's hand to stop her. It didn't go unnoticed how Shinichi flinched at the coldness of her skin.

Ran eyed their physical contact before giving him a stern gaze.

"I'm fixing all of these so you can rest. You won't be touching files until your fever's gone." she effortlessly shook his hand away, continuing.

"Ran, I told you I'm fine. I have to end this case cause if I don't---"

"Then you can let Megure-keibu and the other officers to handle it until you're well again." she was consistent at putting all the paperwork aside, not even sparing a glance.

"I told you I'm fine didn't I? It's just a fever."

Finally done with her task, Ran faced him with an expression that resembled his mother way too much for his own comfort.

"You're not fine. You have a horrible fever and along with it is a terrible headache. You didn't actually expect to read all of these with those blurry eyes of yours, did you?"

She squinted, gesturing at more than fifty papers on the side. He opened his mouth to deny her claims but retreated seeing her eyes squint even more, as if challenging him to lie. Ran was right. He'd been trying to ignore the throbbing of his head and the haze in his vision while reading through the entire case.

He sighed as his misty eyes finally having the time to observe her. She was still wearing their uniform, which means she went here as soon as classes were over. He suddenly remembered an important thing.

"Wait, don't you have an upcoming Karate competition? You have training everyday after school right?" he smirked internally, finding out a plot hole.

But instead of seeing a look of panic and rushing out the of the doorway like Shinichi expected her to do, Ran simply grabbed his hand towards the door making his cheeks turn red out of surprise and something he would never dare name of.

"I'll just skip it for today. Besides, I have something more important to take care of." she squeezed his warm hand, hinting what—or who— important thing she meant.

Blushing even more at the implication certainly did not make his illness any better.

After a few stumble here and there, they finally got to the bedroom in one piece. Minutes seemed like an eternity, with his headache feeling like he was being hammered. He was freezing and sweating at the same time not knowing if he should undress or add more layers. It was good thing that Ran immediately slumped Shinichi down the bed, and started removing his blazer.

Wait, what?

"Umm..." he spoke weakly, but still complying and accepting her help. He thought that she was done but she suddenly kneeled in front of him and leaned in, making Shinichi hyper aware of everything around him. Her hands went straight to his uniform which he did not predict. She was now untying his neck tie, making their faces inches apart. She was so close that he could feel her breathing at the open part of his longsleeve. Despite his mind telling him not to, Shinichi's eyes went directly to her face, which seemed too focused at her task, with her slightly furrowed eyebrows and violet orbs concentrated at undoing the knots. He would never admit it, but Ran looked too innocent and pure that it was killing him.

It didn't help that her scent was literally intoxicating him. A combination of honey and lemon, Shinichi noticed. Flustered and a bit shameful, he looked up,having butterflies in his stomach with his childhood friends' soft and nimble hands slowly removing the fabric from his neck.

He jolted awake when she begins unbuttoning his polo however. On instinct, Shinichi took a hold of her hands before they can go further. Shocked and confused, Ran looked up.

"I," he breathed heavily. "I think I can do this myself, Ran."

As if broken by a spell. Her face instantaneously turned crimson red at the realization that Shinichi might have thought she was the one with the fever. She stood up straight away, turning around and making a beeline to the door. She had been uptight all day that he was a bit glad the usual Ran came back.

He wanted to laugh at her reaction but was too tired to do so. Even slightly moving drained him, but it didn't mean he wasn't capable of undressing himself.

"I-I'm sorry! I got lost in my thoughts! I'm going downstairs!" she squeaked and left in an instant, closing the door with a loud thud.

Now alone, Shinichi struggled to move his shaking hands to undo the buttons. After a few more attempts, he was finally able to fully strip and drag himself to the closet. Nauseated and feeling like the world weighed on his shoulders, he randomly put on a white pajama and went straight to his bed, curling a bit like a kitten. His eyelids getting heavier and heavier, Shinichi closed his eyes, immediately falling asleep.

"Shinichi? Shinichi?"

Hearing a faint voice from behind, Shinichi turned around languidly and opened his eyes, meeting a concerned Ran.

"Hmm?" he hummed, still sleep deprived.

She brought up a steaming hot bowl of food, smiling.

"I cooked you chicken soup. Sit up, you have to eat." she ordered gently.

Despite feeling pain all over his body, he obeyed, knowing that he needed energy. Sitting up groggily, Shinichi faced his caretaker.

Ran sat beside the empty space of his bed, chicken soup in her hand. He frowned at the sight of the food.

"You still cooked my favorite style? Even though you know I won't be able to taste it anyway?" she shrugged as a response, bringing a spoonful near her and blowing weakly.

"Well, you might not be able to taste it but your stomach will surely enjoy it, so why not?" something in his chest swelled after hearing such words. Still, he kept it to himself.

After a few more blows, Ran brought the spoon near his mouth, gesturing for him to eat it. Face flushing and coughing slightly, Shinichi took a bite at the soup. Albeit tasteless, he couldn't help but smile mildy, knowing the effort put in.

Ran laughed a little looking at him as well, but said nothing and continued feeding him.

After five minutes or so, the bowl was finally empty. She told him that he could have just ate half but Shinichi argued that he was hungry(he really wasn't but he would never stand having a food Ran cooked for him go to waste but he'll die before she even find that out).

He was now inclining back to the comfort of his own bed when Ran spoke.

"Seriously, don't overwork yourself Shinichi." she berated, masking her worry with exaggeration as she arranged the plate and the soup, slowly making her way outside.

"I wasn't, I just got a little busy that's all." her saw how Ran rolled her eyes at his excuse as she replied.

"A little busy? You rarely get sick. I was so close to believing you were invincible to fevers." he scoffed at her remark, being defeated with yet another fact. Maybe the pain he felt was a lot worse than he expected.

"Look, I'm glad that you're trying to save as many people as you can but you also can't forget about yourself." he winced at the obvious disappointment and seriousness of her scolding. Instead of meeting her gaze that bore holes into him, he averted his stare into the lamp.

"I'm fine."

"No you're not. And besides, if you don't take care of you, think of all the people that will need you but won't have you." he stayed quiet, getting her point. Shinichi knew it was irrational being stubborn and pushing himself to the limits but he just couldn't help it. He may be a cocky bastard as a lot of people call him, but he wasn't someone that can stand not being able to help when he clearly can.

He sighed, giving in.

"Fine. I promise I'll take better care of myself." his answer seemed to satisfy Ran as she smiled contently.

"Good." as he heard the creaking of the doorframe, Shinichi instinctively flipped his head towards the sound.

"You're leaving?"

He didn't know why, but an infallible amount of upset coursed through him at the thought of Ran leaving. She paused by the door and looked back, inclining her head to the side.

"You want me to stay?" she teased in a light-hearted manner, making Shinichi's cheeks flushed.

"N-no, just wondering.." he played it cool by keeping his voice even, now being reminded how pathetic he must have sounded like asking her if she was leaving.

"I'll stay. After all, someone has to make sure a certain mystery otaku doesn't go back to the library just because he's feeling a little better."

He glared at her jesting and turned to the other side, lying down.

"Barou, it's not like I can do that with my entire body in pain."

Ran laughed, knowing she annoyed him enough.

"Then that's more reason for me to stay right?"

Before he can even think of a reply, she already closed the door and all Shinichi could hear were the sound of her shoes walking downstairs and the erratical beating of his heart he hoped was a side effect of the fever and not..... entirely something else.

Saying 'I Love You' never felt so good

McDanno meta. Season 4 meta.

Okay, I'm here again because I couldn't put these thoughts in my previous meta!

I need to scream about the foreshadow and subtext of the Beautiful first, real, I Love You in the show, episode 4x18.

Let's start

After choosing you

Okay, I said in my previous meta Danny chooses Steve and Grace instead Gaby.

But, before that happens, we had a conversation between Steve and Danny at the beginning of the season 4.

Remember when they were hostages of terrorist that belonged to a drugs cartel in the Palace? There was a wounded person and Steve was kneeling by his side, and Danny came and said he was about to say the three words to Gaby? Remember Steve's reaction to that?

I had to ask for help to my friend @mrsaquaman187 , I don't have the gifs but I do remember when Danny started saying it, Steve closed his eyes and scratched his left eyebrow.

This is sign of uncomfortable, and nervousness.

Why he reacted like that? Oh well, just because he knows Danny said 'I love you' to him in their first date, and then he began to date Gaby, so... That wasn't serious for sure, and he thinks he is gonna do the same to her. So... Steve gave an advice, he said Danny needed to know well if he was about to say those words, because is a big deal.

We know Danny didn't say it to Gaby, but to someone else...

Then we have Amber... But she is not the one

Okay, pay attention to this... Because the episode in which Amber appears, starts with this scene...

Grace says this after Danno confess she's the number one in his list.

And look at what she says, NUMBER TWO ISN'T EVEN CLOSE.

Because when Danny meets Amber, Amber says they're neighbors, because Danny is from Jersey and she's from New York.

So, the second one in Danny's list IS NOT CLOSE TO DANNY. Is not Amber. (Even if I love her, because she's badass and fabulous).

The writers made it wilders, because we will have Steve talking to Grover, saying Danny is IN THE NORTH COAST, WHICH MEANS, HE IS NOT CLOSE TO HIM, DANNY IS FAR AWAY FROM STEVE, AND VICEVERSA, SO, STEVE IS SETTLED HERE AS DANNY SECOND IMPORTANT PERSON IN HIS LIST.

Then we have Danny doubting if he should give this cute woman a chance, because, okay, he's not getting enough attention from his Seal and Gaby is gone. He decides to give it a shot.

Jealousy and Acceptance

Okay, what I'm about to say here is very sad.

When Danny arrives to Steve's house, he asked for Amber, and Danny had this sad expression in his face, but then Steve said Danny was perked up, and Danny mocks saying he doesn't perk up. And there's this exchange of looks, and Danny is smiling, but he's hiding what he is feeling right now. And then... This... (Thanks Trisha)

Fine, we have Danny naming situations, these situations are the same that brought Danny and Steve to work together and then to become great partners and best friend's, so, the face is screaming jealousy, but also, sadness. Because Danny is saying here YOU ARE SO KIND WITH YOUR NEW FRIEND, PEOPLE WILL THINK YOU TWO LIKE EACH OTHE.

And this, my friends, is huge!!!!

Danny is recriminating Steve about the way he treated him when they first met, and they way they flirted, and all those golden days full of dates and silliness, PEOPLE THOUGHT WE LIKED EACH OTHER. So, he is saying YOU CONFUSED ME, I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING THERE. And his face is full of sadness and longing.

Danny sees Steve being kind with Grover, and getting close to him, and he is Jealous, and he knows Steve is like this with everyone.

But this one, Danny is sad, and jealous, and disappointed, he is mourning that time when they were something else than friends.

Then Steve's tunes around and Danny face is pure longing. Is amazing, the performance is perfect, and you can read it all over his face and his eyes. His longing for Steve. For those days in which people thought they liked each other.

The I love you, and how Danny perked up after that

Episode 4x19 in which Danny and Steve were trapped when that building crashed, it was very pivotal in the show.

First of all, because Steve attention was again focused on Danny.

Steve thought Danny had died, so when he hears his voice, he runs to him, and holds his hand, with the biggest smile, showing his happiness and relief.

Steve was practically taking care of him, offering him water and trying to take care of the wound. In the middle of the horrible situation, they were bonding again.

Then... When Steve was about to explode that bomb to get them out from there, Danny tried to deliver a message to him, thinking that could be their last hours. But he couldn't, so he said it like a joke, because joking I their defense mechanism to say how they really feel for each other, is their safe place.

So this happened... Danny says, playing around, that he hates Steve, and Steve got the message, he turns around to the bomb, and says I LOVE YOU TOO, BUDDY.

His body language here was showing honesty, but at the same time, he said it natural.

But for Danny, it meant A LOT. Because Steve said before YOU SHOULD BE SURE TO SAY IT, BECAUSE IT CAN'T BE UNSAID.

And this scene showed us it meant more to Danny that to Steve in that moment.

Danny looks away, rants, makes circles about the idea he wants to express, because he feels embarrassed. But Steve, Steve is trying to recall what is Danny talking about.

Steve waits... "Come one, you are gonna make me say it?" Steve keeps waiting for him, because he already recalled what Danny is talking about.

The it comes, "I lOVE YOU."

In this moment of the season, it meant a lot to Danny, more than it meant to Steve, because Danny is the one pining for him. Steve is focused on Cath and his problems.

This entire Sun and Moon story will keep going until something huge will happen: THE LIVER TRANSPLANT.

There's a huge change attitude in Danny after 4x19, in 4x20 Danny mocks Steve (with a wink to the mcdanno shipper in their anniversary) but he mocks him about Cath, saying she wants to be away from him. Steve remains speechless for a moment, this is the old Danny there, the Danny that just perked up after a love confession, and is happy, and when Danny is happy, he flirts and plays around with Steve. After this Danny describes Steve like a black cloud that never goes away. Again using the joke to express how he feels about Steve. Their girlfriends are far away from them, but Steve is always there, by his side. Is like if Danny were saying "YOU DON'T WANT TO BE AWAY FROM ME", pointing at the previous joke he made about Cath and Steve.

Then, the I Love You comes again, freely, and comfortable.

There's another HUGE example of Danny playing around with Steve, this time trying to make him jealous, and enjoying his face with please, when he decides to bet for Lou, instead Steve.

It says everything, Danny is so happy they're back in the game, he is enjoying Steve reaction with such a heart eyes on his boy. He loves him, deeply, and he enjoys to play around with him like this. Is definitely an attitude a lover would take just to watch a pretty mad/jealous face.

Infinitely priceless.

The season ends with Steve saying I LOVE YOU, with romantic meaning to Catherine, pointing us the love triangle, and the current unrequited love in wich Danny is pining for Steve, but at this moment, he is in order be with Catherine.

This was the I LOVE YOU season. Check this post from @five-wow , they also picked up the same analogy to show how important these three words were in season 4.

To Conclude:

Season 4 was the one in which Danny was planning ning for Steve, he even chooses him and Grace instead Gaby. He finds a new love interest, but he doubts I'm initiate something with her at first, because his feelings for Steve, which are unrequited in this season.

The story of the Sun and the Moon, two lovers separated by the day and the night, will end at the end of season 6, when Steve and Danny lives will connect again into a deeper meaning.

Wanda Maximoff - Here We Go Again

I reblogged a post about a week or so ago that was a series of tweets regarding Wanda Maximoff and her "being directly responsible" for the deaths of Africans whenever she visited the continent. I added my own minute commentary and reblogged it and left it at that, but ever since then it's been festering in my brain and I've been debating on whether or not to make a post about it. But then I thought to myself, "Dude, when have you ever shied away from sharing your opinion?", and after thinking about it, I was right and decided to make this.

With all that out of the way, here's the first tweet

There are a lot of things to dissect in just this tweet alone, such as the term "directly responsible", which I'm assuming the Tweeter doesn't actually understand. If they did, they'd know that "directly" means that Wanda went to Africa in her various missions with the sole intent of killing people. Anyone who actually watched the movies knows that's not even remotely true, because out of all the Avengers she's the one who emotes the most how horrible she thinks those deaths are. The one who beats up Wanda the most for any collateral damage she causes is Wanda herself.

Then there's the whole "Wanda's (body count) is entirely black" bullshit. Once again ignoring that they seem to think that Wanda went there on those missions with the sole intent of killing people, but then the fact that they're trying to turn the entire population of Africa into just black people, as if its not a multi-ethnic continent or that black persons don't live all over the globe.

I know I am not the best person, or the person at all, to be speaking about that particular topic, but that bugged me and it bared mentioning.

Moving on.

This is a tricky one, because Wanda was responsible for setting off the Hulk, which led to that rampage, but this just smacks of the same attitude that wants to put the whole of Ultron and his crimes on her shoulders. Just her, I would like to point out, not her brother, who is hardly ever mentioned and who was shown to be more bloodthirsty and vengeful than his sister. But I refuse to hold Wanda accountable for the Hulk's rampage, especially when we've seen that he's totally capable of being civil, as evidenced in Ragnarok. I mean, the very fact that the Avengers brought him to the conflict at all and just left him off the field was stupid and part of the circumstances that led to what happened in Johannesburg. Why bring a weapon like the Hulk to the battlefield if you're not planning on using it? Because them sidelining him is what allowed Wanda and Pietro to get the drop on him.

The main point you should take away from that examination is this image

The fight with Ultron and the Twins took place at a shipyard on the South African coast, where as Johannesburg is very clearly landlocked and quite a distance away from the coast. There's also the fact that she hit the other Avengers with her mind whammy and they were all down for the count, engulfed with their traumas of various natures. Ther was literally nothing to suggest that the Hulk would react the way he did to her mojo when everyone else was rendered into a fugue state.

Next,

Once again I have to fall back on my age old question of "Did you actually watch the movies?" Its sad that I have to ask that so much, but this is Tumblr and we have gifsets and metas all around and so many people thinking that counts as canon.

If this person had actually watched the movies, they'd know that the entire body count in Lagos lies solely on Rumlow's shoulders. He was the one who attacked the laboratory, the one who attacked Cap and the one who set off the bomb that took the lives of several Nigerians and Wakandans. Wanda did not set off that grenade. Wanda contained the blast as best she good, with powers that no one truly understands at this point, which otherwise would have had a much bigger fatality rate if it had gone off in that crowded marketplace.

And all of that is completely ignoring that if she hadn't been there there's a good chance that Rumlow or his men would have gotten away with a biological weapon that could have caused untold damage.

The sad fact is that collateral damage happens when in the field and it's horrible, but trying to put that blame on one of those trying to stop the carnage as opposed to the actual person responsible is not only reprehensible, but boring. I never see anyone blaming one of the other members of the Avengers, or the Wakandans or whomever for the collateral damage their action or inaction causes.

(There also the thing that I think the whole Rumlow situation in Lagos was a plan by Hydra to contain and control enhanced individuals for their own purposes, but that's a conversation for another time.)

This was the one where I seriously considered the person tweeting to be a troll. I can't imagine how anyone who sat through that movie could blame the genocide committed by a delusional grape to be Wanda's fault. I mean that in all seriousness, because once again, it's all right there in the movie.

The very fact that Thanos claimed the Time Stone, arguable the most powerful of the Infinity Stones, and probably the one thing that could have stopped him but wasn't used, before he came for the Mind Stone means that it didn't matter when, or even if, Wanda destroyed the stone. The very presence of the Time Stone rendered all that irrelevant because he now controlled the very fabric of time itself. He could have gone back to any moment in time and taken the Mind Stone, whether it had been destroyed or not.

And the Battle of Wakanda itself. I feel like I'm on repeat here, because how is she responsible for Proxima Midnight's attack on the Wakandans? Did she tell her to attack? Did she command the Outriders to try and kill everything in sight? No, of course she didn't, because ad powerful as she is, she's not so powerful as to make others do things against their will. And that's all completely ignoring how this troll just completely stole the Wakandans own agency in this fight. Or T'Challa's choice to have the battle there in the first place. He did what he could with what he had in the little time he was given, but at no point was Wanda responsible for any of the deaths of the Wakandans during that battle.

In point of fact, Wanda actually jumped into the battle because she was witnessing the death and carnage and knew she could stop that. How was she, or anyone for that matter, to know that the whole attack was a distraction to get her on the field so that they (the Black Order) could take the stone for Thanos? Answer: they couldn't. Especially when they were under the impression that Corvus Glaive was already dead.

Also the fact that these people who hate Wanda are so okay with her killing someone she loves (which she did! That does need pointing out, because so many people like to ignore that) to end the conflict. No one demanded that Gamora should have let Nebula die or that Loki should have let Thor die in order to protect their respective stones. So why is Wanda singled out?

I don't feel like these even bares a mention, but the very fact that this dumbass thinks that Wanda is responsible for the dustings that Thanos committed is so ridiculous that its hysterical. Especially when you factor in that WANDA HERSELF WAS DUSTED!!!!

My suggestion is that this person take off whatever rose-tinged glasses they're wearing when they watch these movies and actually pay attention to what's happening on the screen. Its totally okay to not want to overanalyze these movies, because as I can state from personal experience, it does take some of the joy out of watching them, but if that's the decision you make, you don't get to take and state them so wildly out of context and present that as canon. It doesn't work that way.

some avengers endgame Thoughts cause i saw the movie yesterday and can't stop thinking about it

thor's panic attack being used for cheap laughs was the most uncomfortable moment for me... or any scene where people only saw thor as Fat and Lazy (basically, two thirds of the movie)

okay. okay. hear me out. tony was on a very serious mission to regain an infinity stone. and the first thing he does is check out steve's ass. and aknowledge how glorious it is. i couldn't believe what i was watching!!!!!! like that actually fucking happened. consider me a fully formed stony bitch.

so it's canon that everyone checks out steve's ass and appreciates it as a national treasure. that's all i never thought id needed.

but seriously!!!! steve wielding AND fighting with mjolnir!!!!! couldn't stop thinking about it all day!!!!!!!!! STEVE IS WORTHY!!!!!!!

and just.... this was steve's moment. steve i-can-do-this-all-day rogers really fighting with every ounce of his body and soul against the most powerful being on earth. justice for him getting knocked after touching thanos for one second in iw!

and steve getting up again! all dirty and wounded!! trembling with exhaustuation and resolution!!! with his broken shield on his arm!!!! just him facing the biggest army of the universe!!!!! so powerful

sorry to destroy this epic moment, but like, okay. people had been reintegrated to life like, twenty minutes before. and i understand that they were all confused and out of place. but sam really needed ALL that time to just... try to communicate with steve????? ok

the "avengers..." *brings mjolnir with one hand while bracing his shield with the other* "assemble" moment was... oh my God. chills all over my body.

that One Moment where steve has stormbreaker on his hand... so fucking hot

the tony and peter reunion holy shit. the hug was everything i needed! like please just hug tony stark for ages

and tony and pepper fighting together!!! that's a power couple right there

i felt it when quill looked at gamora and just... stopped. im so sad his moment was played for laughs when it was obviously such an important moment for his character

thanos was so fucking scared of wanda that he put his own troops at risk to stop her for a little while. strongest avenger right there!

and carol coming back!!!! i was like

i felt so relieved at that point. i was like "yeah thanos is fucking over what's next"

fucking CAROL trying to stop him. looking at him with such a determined face, like "you can't stop me from stopping you". it was so powerful he had to snatch one stone to stop her

and strange giving him the one finger to tony.... i knew what was coming holy shit. i knew it. they knew it.

tony really proved himself there. it was his best scene on the entire mcu, don't argue with me!!!!!! the way he stood there and took all the power of the stones, unmasked, unaffected, powerful and almighty

"i am... iron man" cue to ugly sobbing

tony knew there was no other way. pepper did, too... she knew exactly what she had to tell him. she was right. tony spent all of these years moved by selfishness first, then fear, then guilt. an endless battle since thanos was on his head. but the war was over. what mattered was that he saved everyone, and he sacrificed himself for everyone. a complete 180° from last movie's ending.... wow

gotta said... peter there felt a little bit out of place for me. i think it would've been more powerful if he didn't say anything, though peter is a teenager, i can get it

his arc with steve felt unfinished, too. i would've liked to see steve's reaction as well, since tony had told him he wanted everyone back and also for his family so survive. but whatever

im not against tony killing thanos instead of gamora and nebula but i would've liked if we saw them react to his death, at least:/ like a little parallel between nebula's reaction at the beginning and the end of endgame

the One stucky interaction here was pulled from cap1 and iw. i feel betrayed

bucky Knew what steve was going to do. i wonder if steve told him before or bucky just sensed it

you can't convince me steve would go back and carelessly dance with peggy knowing his friend is being used like a weapon by hydra and bound to kill tonys parents. nah nah. it all felt wrong
