#instagram#i don’t know what to tag this#hmm much to consider#has this post been made before?#almost certainly#but y’know what they say about dead horses#you can’t beat them enough#they love it!#the same is true of tumblr though#there are plenty of twitter. reddit. and tiktok screenshots on here#why would any other social media be different#i guess it’s just weird specifically for me because i’ve only ever really used tumblr and like the occasional scroll through reddit#i don’t think i’m particularly unique in that though#i’m sure plenty of people who use tumblr don’t use much else#im almost certain of it actually#it’s part of what leads to this site’s mildly weird slightly disconnected from reality culture#there’s. i think. a massive failure of self awareness across the board#that includes me#i’m mostly talking about the social justice aspects of this site#like it’s good to be aware but awareness and posting online really only goes so far#which is to say it goes practically nowhere#it is good to create ‘safe spaces’ i think that’s pretty objectively true#but creating safe spaces isn’t activism it’s just being a decent person#this ended up being a weird rant at the end of a fundamentally stupid and unoriginal post#well i said i didn’t know how to tag this and here we are#alright#happy scrolling#thanks for reading
