*covered in blood with a thousand yard stare* had to replace the serpentine belt
#and the tensioner!#2000 sunfire so we had to jimmy the k frame up and down to get clearance#survived tho#barely#also having to replace the control arms (very fun#pretty sure theyre original bc them things are crunchy#guy got it bc the body was in good shape#there is so much shit wrong were basically rebuilding the damn thing from the plugs to the radio#ALSO we snapped a carriage bolt on the back and my stepdad tried replacing it with just a regular 21mm and guess what#drum wont fit on the brakes (obv)#psa to anybody doing rear brakes on a sunfire: there is no easy out for ebrakes#you chop em off the brakes just wont line up right#and then no rear brakes :(#so guess what we're replacing next#oh no i forgot we're rebuilding the exhaust (ALSO) first tomorrow#forgot to put a box down and its up on blocks on gravel so i got back covered in scrapes mud and dog shit#garage shit
