Y'all are so ready to call people and things fucked up lables instead of leaving well enough alone. You're taking shit at fave value and refusing to budge on things.

They aren't gonna behave or act how you think they should and they're tools to tell a story. No matter the type of story no matter how dark and no matter how kid friendly it is.

Don't like April x Any of the turtles because you feel that's incest. Block tags and the artists and move on.

Don't like Tcest? Block the tags and artists and move on.

Don't like an artist/author because they create adult turtle nsfw, block the tags and creator and move on.

But no. Instead y'all rather labe people as things. And I seen this community label folks with shit with no context, no evidence or ignoring jokes.

And majority of you all are adults encouraging this behavior from minors and honestly that's predatory and sad. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE ENCOURAGING HARASSMENT TOWARDS MINORS

No one is a "neutral", or a "proshipper" and evil because they don't care for something you deem problematic. No one is a "tcester " because they choose to ignore your weird witch hunt for an artist who "could be a tcester".

What is your worst IE headcannons?

I may be too out-of-touch from the fandom to know what people would consider bad and worst but I do have some that others may have an issue with! AND I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ASK YOU ABOUT HEADCANONS TOO, BUT YOU GOT ME FIRST! AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW YOURS VERY MUCH!! (although I haven't watched most of ares and orion so i may not understand some for now, I would love to hear them still!!)

This ended up a long post, I'm making this cut...

I'll start with a tame one (may also be really boring), but this one needs my other hcs for anyone to understand the actual one I want to share. Here's a "brief" list of the others (happened between og series and inago):

Gouenji has unparallel knowledge of ALL Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, and Ghibli movies and will defend the female characters with his life. (This is why I thought he probably knows MLP as I said on the last ask)

He's not a fan of social media and does not use anything outside of inalink and private messaging. Not bcs he's cool, he just doesn't understand them. Much like in honosuto with the laptop, initially with inatube, and him always forgetting his useless phone.

Yuuka convinced him to make an inatter (twitter) and inagram account bcs she does not want anyone to steal the @ and that she also wants to be able to tag him on her posts (and of his teammates/friends) so they can keep the memories. He saves all the pictures he gets tagged in and sometimes prints them out to keep in an album he designed (he's very good w crafts). I still can't believe honosuto came up with those social media names (except for inagram)

He only cared about the bare minimum use of social media so he only ever retweets in inatter (never made his own tweet ever; but he does reply on some that addresses him) and only posts his creations on inagram with no caption or a few words about what he made (made takoyaki, felted a bunny, crocheted a penguin, made cupcakes, etc.).

He only has three kinds of inatter rts: about soccer, about making art, and tweets of his friends and family. Yuuka made his bio in both of them. He also became good at taking pictures of his creations thanks to Yuuka.

However, he is mildly updated with internet language bcs that's all he hears from his sister and her friends and from his own friends in the group chat that he only talks in when he's mentioned. He assimilated most of the phrases they use in chats.

Having said all this, he almost has no social media presence. You're lucky to see his page updated after two weeks. He doesn't reply with strangers either unless it's a kid who loves or interested in soccer.

He also doesn't share much in interviews. Very bare minimum of answering questions and always answers in short sentences and just poses for the camera shortly before he bounces. His favorite answer to questions is "oh that's private" not bcs it's private but bcs he doesn't want to talk that long unless youre asking him about his opinion on human rights-- something that his agent and/or soccer club prevented the press from ever asking him again (an hc drop another time). But anyway, he always had strong opinions and doesnt hold back in expressing them (og series and inago) and that's trouble for the club sponsors so they make a lot of effort on stopping anybody from having the opportunity of asking him anything outside of his personal and athlete life.

And the last context here is that Gouenji is autistic, but we already know that.

Okay so now time for the actual bad HC I want to share... which is how Gouenji came out as bisexual to the public

This started with an inatter thread of a person criticizing Anna (Frozen) for her actions in the first movie that reached Gouenji's timeline. Gouenji answers with 7 tweets worth of respectful paragraph of why Anna shouldn't be criticized bcs of how she was brought up, bcs of her isolation, and bcs of her grief, etc. So, everybody lost their mind, etc etc. AND NOW, at the midst of all this, a soccer fan asked him the question below that he answered without thinking much about:

This blew up and his notifications gets flooded with questions about his sexuality and questionable taste that he really didn't mind answering if it wasn't blowing up his phone.

He was out with everyone in his circle that he forgot the world didn't know he's bi. So, he fixed that by tweeting "yes, im bisexual" on his timeline. He logs out and then decided to wait a few months before logging in again.

This didn't sound as fun as I amped it up to be but I think it's a terribly bland HC that I find kind of funny

Well, I will be brief since I don't think there is much to go into for this occasion, since all this boils down to a "cursed" comment or an argument that I found in my travels in the depths of "Twitter/X".

Well only in brief context: "An angst moment of Ship BB" is posted on the social platform, well in a few words within those comments, there is one that caught my attention (too much):

What the FUCK does he mean with "Yang doesn't lose her arm if she doesn't have feelings for Blake" ?!!

First, how we generally understand that scene was that:

Yang lost her arm as collateral damage in order to save Someone's life (Blake)

And yes, I give the benefit of the doubt to the individual about the importance that Blake's life was worth to Yang, however the scene remains the same (subjectively):

Yang out of desperation sets out to save a person ( for her "future duty as Huntress") but above all the person has an importance in her life (already on a personal level), so the loss of her arm was collateral damage and such a price "for even trying."

[I know it could sound like an analysis in favor of that ship. But nonetheless…]

So literally saving Blake was something that didn't depend on "whether Yang has feelings for her or not" but rather because she had to do it.

But also something that caught my attention in the comment fragment was:

"if she doesn't have feelings for Blake"

He comes to interpret that: Yang lost the Arm not because she threw herself at Adam without thinking much but in reality she lost it because of her "feelings for Blake."

(According to my interpretation)

But hey, at least we know that Yang is capable of doing everything possible to save her loved ones without giving it much thought… right?

Well, according to V8, she did it by preventing Ruby from being stabbed by neo…

Okay if Yang saved Ruby from an outside agent who wanted to kill her, then it's likely that Yang…

Yang when her little sister (who is also a person of great importance to Yang) is about to drink that cup with the intention of "saying goodbye to the world":

That game has truly revealed how some people actually are. While incredibly disappointing and sad, I’m glad I now know? 🥲 I’ve unfollowed a lot of streamers who played it and tried to justify it. I understand it’s nostalgic, as someone who loved the series growing up, but I can not play/watch the game because of how horrible Rowling is and the details of the game. The game has received so much money and to know she gets so much of it angers me.

I think some people seem to have the impression that the people criticising H/ogwarts L/egacy never liked HP to begin with and were simply lying in wait, searching for a way to moralise their opinions. This is totally not the case, at least for me. I was a MASSIVE H/arry P/otter fan when I was a kid. Me and my friends would have themed sleepovers, created fan zines and even played quiddich ourselves (the irl sport, not with actual broomsticks lmao). I began to get icky vibes from JKR years ago when she pulled the whole "Dumbledore is totally gay you guys, but no I won't show that in the books, and no I won't show that in the movies, and no I won't mention it anywhere outside of twitter, but who cares because I'm a #ally 💅" As a gay person that struck me as a pretty shitty way to behave, especially considering how much power and influence she weilds. And then of course, when she started her whole transphobia arc, I dropped the entire franchise like a hot potato. There's a really great youtube video by Shaun about HP that outlines just how vast JKR's bigotry spans, and how deeply it is ingrained into the series. Watching it really opened my eyes to a lot of things, and I'd highly encourage anyone still on the fense to give it a watch themselves :)

This is weird but it’s a rant more than anything haha. I have seen that BAs are obsessed with the childhood best friends to lovers trope more than the actual couple itself. I have seen specially on Twitter how they ship Malina (Shadow and Bone), Rini (HSMTMTS), and every single ship with the same trope (and most of them don’t even watch the shows mentioned). As a Malina shipper, is so weird seeing them ship it so hard and even compare it to BA because Malina is what an actual childhood best friends to lovers trope should work, a consistent thing were we as audience/readers BELIEVE in their friendship because it’s not something that the narrative suddenly remembers when they need drama for the show. We believe Mal and Alina are best friends that know each other the best, and their transition to lovers is believable/expected. The bond is strong and you believe they could actually be friends and lovers. The narrative only remembers BA are childhood best friends when it suits them but mostly forgets it even exists. I do wonder if they actually like BA or are just obsessed with the idea of a trope.

but, you know, people like what they like and i don't begrudge them that. i think b/a is boring but i've also noticed that they actually just put archie in jughead's place and scenarios and call it superior (just say you'd like bughead if jughead looked like archie and go, it's okay). the stuff they bring me or i see randomly is pretty indicative of them either not watching the show or watching out of context edits that portray the b/a relationship in a totally unrealistic way (legit, they can edit those videos to make archie look like a sad pining puppy while betty mostly blows him off).

then again, they also bring me a lot of talking points about how bughead is toxic like bughead isn't a friends to lovers trope itself. they're just...well. hah. i once saw someone describe shippers that like to act like their ship as superior as puri-teens and now that's always in my head when they get self-righteous. which is stupid because it's all fake, you know?

honestly, from my experience with the ones who come to my page is that they're kj stans who project onto betty. which, cool. i don't care. but you don't have to lie about what your ship is or what the history is (they really need to watch the show past the scenes that archie and betty are in) to declare some trope superior. especially when they usually just live in echo chambers of all their fandoms friends patting each other on the back for shipping Right™.

but also enemies to lovers is the superior trope for all of the not bughead ships i like and no, i won't be taking dissenting opinions on this.💅
