#this show is so important to me#and so many other queer folk of color#especially black queer folk#ted sarandos took over in 2020 and has been a problem ever sense#internally and externally#and is more or less the reason Netflix had to do cut backs when there stock fell for the first time in forever#there's a really interesting The Verge article about how sarandos fosters a toxic work environment#and employees input#are ignored#especially when it comes to black and queer concerns#very insightful read#don't come at me saying first kill isn't good or claiming it's a flop#the numbers easily point it being more successful then shows they've quickly renewed in the past#and#AND#if you don't like it#turn something else on#or turn your media device off and go outside touch some grass and breathe in some fresh air#no one needs your unique take on why you think it's bad or unwatchable media#most valid criticisms have already been pointed out your take is nothing new#the fans of this show care deeply for it's content representation cast and crew#i love first kill#first kill#calliope burns#juliette fairmont#calliette#sarah catherine hook#imani lewis#lgbtq#sorry for the misspellings tumblrs tagging system is a good time
