#he’s like. the epitome of a hidden tragedy to me#especially with the way part of the fandom hates/hated him#idk maybe it’s cause i can just relate to his general vibe#just how he was the rule follower. perfect in every way he could be#and yet. and yet. he failed#he was always less than percy from the moment they met to everyone else#percy who has never once followed the rules but also came out on top of jason#how he was always criticized as boring or a moral less leader#but when did he have the opportunity to learn not to be? at the roman camp since 2?????#all the expectations placed on him as jupiters son that in the end he could never hope to achieve#these thoughts are probably disjumbldd and bad but yea. jason feels are so happening rn#pjo#hoo#pjo/hoo#jason grace#coming back to this cause i forgot to add my most important thought#the fact that so many readers hated him from the very beginning because he was not percy#it’s just. so devastating
