Perfect with the Everest Parka by Nigel Cabourn. Orange is the colour of the day. Cardigan by Andersen Andersen and beanie from Myssyfarmi. And as eyewear I decided to go for JMM.
A sunny day and a lot of people on town. Still happy to wear my N-1 Deck Jacket (Real McCoy’s) with the warm liner. But don’t need so much under the jacket. A tee by Formal Friday, a white vintage shirt and a vest by 1stpatrn. Also one of my coolest jeans, by Lee and from Son of a Stag in London. And of course the moc-toes from Red Wing. Since I got new soles I tend to wear them several days a week.
The black leather jacket I’m wearing is more than 20 years old, that means good quality. Very different with the black pants in moleskin. Found them only a few days ago at HepCat Store. The pants are made in France by Fleurs de Bagne. A lot of cool stuff from them, never mainstream. The grey knitwear was my first piece from Andersen Andersen. Quality lasts. Hiker boots by Danner Boots.
My friend Christopher at Meadow has helped me with this reel. Over the years I have bought a lot from this store, but the outfit here is not from Meadow
Coat by Fortela, Mallory jacket from Nigel Cabourn and slipover by Katarina Segerbrand. Pants from 1stpatrn. I can just hope the reel will work well.
Circle of Friends Shop is the name of a multibrand store in Malmö and in Stockholm. Behind the two stores stands menswear brand C.O.F. Studio. The jacket I’m wearing is by this brand. And under it a denim jacket by Momotaro. Also sporting a warm duffle. And just like many of my other outdoor garments it’s by The Real McCoy’s.
Springtime is good time for wearing a leather jacket. This one is by Fine Creek Leathers. Got it in London but know you’ll also find the brand at the Meadow store.
Also love the jean from Lee Archive. Check out Son of a Stag. Vest by 1stpatrn. Beret from The HW Dog. Grey sweater by Formal Friday Clothing. On the feet sneakers from
The French brand Fleurs de Bagne has become a favourite of mine. Got the blue jacket at the store L’Usine Bleue in Stockholm. They focus on French heritage and workwear. Don’t think you can find my jacket anymore. But check out their Instagram and web site. A lot of cool stuff to be found, at reasonable princes.
On the pic I’m also wearing an M-51 parka by Real Mccoy’s. Vest from Fortela. Nudie Jeans. And shoes by Lennertson Shoes.
Close to this part of the harbour is Malmo University. So a lot of young people in circulation. Decided to wear the peacoat for the occasion. And my old Iron Rangers from Red Wing. They have just been at the cobbler Danielssons for new soles and heel. If I’m lucky the boots will last my lifetime.
Sunny day as you can see. But I still have to dress fairly warm. The M-65 by The Real McCoy’s have a liner and the slipover (some say vest) is in wool, knitted by Katarina Segerbrand. A very professional knitdesigner from Sweden. White selvedge jean by Edwin, got them at HepCat store i Lund. The Viberg boots have just been to the cobbler, Danielssons Skomakeri. Feeling good in this outfit.
The M-51 parka by The Real McCoy’s has become a new favourite of mine. So has the New Balance sneakers from the store Hiatus in hometown. Great to put on when I make my daily long walks.
Jean jacket by Taylor Stitch and jean by COF Studio. Got them in their own store, Circle of Friends Shop. The Momotaro shirt I’ve had for so many years.
I like Nudie jeans. They are good fit. Here sporting a pair of black Tuff Tony, a wider model by Nudie. Selvedge of course. And although I’m not that slim anymore (due to medication) I can settle with size 34 in waist. Also note that the supercool store VMC Original now offer Nudie.
Since we’re shooting on a cold day (Malmo is always windy) I need several layers. Merino wool by Formal Friday Clothing and a corduroy shirt from 1stpatrn. Shirt jacket by Nigel Cabourn (very old). And last but not least my N-1 deck jacket by McCoy’s.
Beanie from Merz b Schwanen and eyewear (model Dealan) by Jacques Marie Mage (looking for the model Fitzgerald in tortoise). Danner Boots on the feet. Ready to meet this winter/spring day in March.
Some days I can feel it. Spring is on its way. But still I’m in need for proper layering. Under the M-65 jacket from The Real McCoy’s a cardigan from the same brand. Flannel shirt by Mr Freedom from the store Maritime Antiques in Copenhagen. And under that a sweater in merino wool by Formal Friday Clothing. The white Edwin jean I recently found at HepCat Store. Selvedge. Made in Japan. Loose Straight. Can’t ask for more.
Shoes by Lennertson Shoes. And Moscot Dahven eyewear in colour tortoise. As always from Brillor å Sånt.
When it comes to knitwear I primarily choose Andersen Andersen. A Danish brand that makes great sailor sweaters. Got a few of them. On the feet, Danner Boots.
Are you familiar with French brand Fleurs de Bagne? If not, check them out. It was love at first sight when I found these fatigue pants in denim, at HepCat store in Lund. Decided to wear them with suspenders. Feeling comfy with the whole outfit. Sweater in merino wool as first layer. The brand is Formal Friday Clothing. The shirt jacket by Nigel Cabourn I bought many years ago in Berlin. The N-1 deck jacket by The Real McCoy’s is another loved piece. Some days are more heritage, and should be.
The M-51 parka is my latest piece from The Real McCoy’s. Loved it directly I put it on. And that it’s size XL. A parka like this should be big.
Brown shirtjacket by Muller and Bros. Stephane Bulldog stands behind the brand. Bought it several years ago at VMC Original. Check out this fantastic store if you don’t follow them already. Jean by Nudie Jeans. Their wide model Tuff Tony.
Shoes by Tarvas Footwear. The model is called Tarvas Explorer. Eyewear Jaccques Marie Mage. Model Dealan. This day I was on my way to The Barber. On the last pic my mate Roland, semiprofessional photographer.
