americans act like the us is the protagonist of the world
#not to be americaphobic but americans on the internet are the worst#they act like everyone else on the internet is american too#you always know theyre american when they dont bother specifying which countrys poltiics/laws/etc theyre talking about#bc theyre the only country that does that#and i cant even count the number of times ive seen americans thinking posts about canadian politics are about the us#despite it coming from a canadian news site and talks about canadian political parties (none of which share a name with us parties)#theyre always using some random two letter state abbreviation and expecting everyone to know what it means#like youll be like hey where was this pic taken#and they say something like 'this was in SO'#great thanks! but what the fuck is SO#like its obvious thats somewhere in the US bc again they never specify the country#but at the very least type out the entire state name!!!! how am i supposed to know 50 of these two letter abbreviations#for a country that i dont even live in!!!!!#and americans are SHOCKED that we dont magically know what theyre talking about!!! bc how can we not know about the protagonist of the world
