Did I pause a as minute into an episode of Cobra Kai I was watching with my family to spend 20 minutes defending Sam LaRusso? Yes. Yes I did.
#and I would do it again#they did not understand why I was so attached to this fictional character#Sam LaRusso#best girl#favorite character#Cobra Kai#Sam LaRusso defense squad#overhated teenage girls#they did understand my frustration when I explained the mysoginy she faces on the internet#but I don’t think they understand my personal connection to her#she’s just a little bit too much like me#I’m very stubborn and I know that if I were fictional#people would act like my mental problems are not valid#and teenage girls should be able to act like teen girls without being seen as bad or annoying#if I could make a living defending characters#especially if they are teen girls#well I would be very happy#but I can’t#my mum told me to defend her on tumblr and I had to#inform her that even though she was joking I have done that multiple times#Sam had every reason to treat Tory the way she did#I love Tory and while Sam started it#making a mistake once does not make bullying okay#she only retaliated at their other interactions#and being given PTSD by someone is a very good reason to hate them#It was Tory’s job to make things right until then Sam should be excepted to be nice#I will defend Sam with my life
