I think making sweeping generalizations of specific traits being considered "ugly" is not great the same way i think its rude and unnecessary to call others ugly, i also think its worthwhile to acknowledge that certain traits ARE considered "Ugly" due to societal beauty standards, that doesn't make them ACTUALLY ugly, bc beauty is subjective anyway, and can be found Anywhere, and even someone who seems to tick every single box of societal beauty Ideals will almost certainly have at least one trait or feature about their appearance that they are insecure about or feel is "ugly", bc even within the constraints of conventional attractiveness theres subjectivity

Shaved the sides of my head and god does that feel so much better. I didn’t realize how much I hated having hair hanging over my ears until now, I think I’m going to keep my sides no longer than a couple inches. My hair is also easier to wash now, which is great for my brain that tends to struggle with how overwhelming washing thick or long hair is.

#i cut my hair off partially because transing my gender #but also because I was really really struggling to maintain it #back when I did the big chop chop and got rid of my ass-length hair #and I didn’t realize how much better I’d been maintaining my hair until I had about 6 months of grow out and I started to struggle again #and I was like wow #if I’m struggling with shoulder length growout how was I managing a full head of not layered just flat dense straight to my ass hair #i guess I just really made use of braiding and buns and didn’t wash it often #which is good for some hair types but not mine #my hairline was receeding from the heavy buns #and my hair needs to be washed once every 2-3 days #i think my hair types the kind that if you’re going to grow it out long #you NEED to have a PHD in Dutch braiding and/or French braids #because it’s too fucking heavy for a bun or ponytail

#random thoughts #horror #okay so i love it when characters who you initially assume are good are actually bad people #so i would love it if the protag of a game were doing their first big hangout with a friend group they're new to #maybe the mc just moved to town and one of the people in the friend group is their cousin or smth #so you don't know anyone that well and they seem like decent folk #except when you get into the horror situation it's revealed that they're all extremely bad people #like maybe one tries to sacrifice you to save themself #some of them are cheating on each other. some of them are bigoted. just a lot of bad traits which are revealed #i have this image in my head of a scene #where one of the main characters is the older brother of someone in the friend group #and he's there because he's the only one who can drive and he's not close to the friend group at all #and he's like the classic bad boy bully with his own circle of friends he hangs out with #and if you make specific choices he'll eventually pull you aside #which you initially think is in a 'oh no i pissed him off and got the bad end' way #but in reality he's like 'okay so i think you're actually pretty decent so here's a head's up'#'those guys over there - don't look at them look at me act like i'm chewing you out - they're bad people. don't trust anyone.'#and then he shoves you against a tree in a huff and walks back over to the group like nothing happened #leaving them all to think he was trying to intimidate you and be an ass #and at that point in the game it's like. is he fucking with you? he has to be right?#im thinking the choices you make to get that scene are when you stand up for other people when he specifically is poking fun at them #like you see everyone else is too uncomfortable to take a stand against him but YOU do. and he respects that
