I'm generally struck by the compulsion to declare all fandoms I am a part of to be completely non-toxic and 'one of the good ones', but I also find it very funny when that is just impossible

#funnily enough this post is not about supernatural #there's probably ernest fandom out there but I don't engage in it #actually I know where it is. it's on Reddit and it's weird as hell (as you'd expect)#no this is about doctor who and weirdly enough ofmd #especially twitter ofmd what the hell is up with them #they have a new racism discourse every week I stg #doctor who fans are just.... like there's a 90% chance I'll disagree with them about something we both feel strongly about #and we'll both be willing to argue our points to the end of the earth #doctor who is one of the fandoms where I'll admit I probably participate in the toxicity #however much I try not to
