I ship Delenn/Susan, but like, in the alternate timeline of the pilot, where Delenn was a trans woman that presented as male in season one and then transitioned at the same time as becoming human in the triluminary chrysalis.

It puts such a different cast on the scenes where Susan is (mostly offscreen) bathing her, teaching her how to take care of her hair and so on. Idk maybe it goes along with a trans!Susan headcanon, which isn’t something I’ve really thought about but actually I kind of love it.

#what are these strange cramps I’ve been having?#they only didn’t do trans!Delenn because Mira Furlan wasn’t convincing with her voice digitally lowered #and the chin prosthetic they used looked kinda bad ngl #but listen #this implies.#okay so I read once and I’m not sure if this is canon #what I read was that each triluminary was made by valen from a component in his link that recognizes his DNA #so that they would know him when they brought him aboard on the last day of the war #I always viewed the chrysalis as specifically giving her some of Sinclair’s genes #would that imply that it gave her Sinclair’s X in place of whatever her species have as a Y chromosome #I like the idea that she didn’t know she was trans until coming out of the chrysalis #and just immediately rolls with it and finds this hidden talent for being super hot that she would never have discovered as a man
