#they'll get tired of their own vitriol eventually
Note
Hi, I hope you don't mind this message, and idk if anyone else has told you, but there's this troll going around on Tumblr named @/freethepuppet. They claim to be “fighting for justice in the puppet industry”, but really they're just sending hateful and threatening messages to Welcome Home and My Friendly Neighborhood artists/fans.
I myself have receive multiple death threats from this person, and they have sent threats to many of my friends over the matter, some of which are minors.
Because of this issue, I have decided to keep myself and my friends anonymous, especially considering the fact that @/freethepuppet intends to send threats to PartyCoffin himself, along with the creator behind My Friendly Neighborhood.
I just wanted to warn you about this person, so that you can block and report them, as well has tell others in the community about the troll. If you decide to ignore this, then that's fair and I respect your decision.
In any case, I hope you and your friends stay safe. Best of luck!!
blocked! thanks for letting me know! to add on to this, a little advice for everyone:
Don't Engage With This Person At All!
Don't Look At Their Stuff, Don't Respond To Messages, Don't @ Them Or Give Them The Time Of Day. Just Go Block Them And Let Them Exhaust Their Own Hate

Was thinking about a fav anime of mine and a moment in it. So; Hackearney and/or Travis + Hacketteers (which includes Laura & Max)
Another AU where the Hacketteers are some form of thieves. In this AU the Hacketts have slightly more prominence in the town and are wealthier. The Hacketteers' plan is to kidnap Kaylee and Caleb and hold them for ransom.
On the day of the kidnapping, things go awry. Unknown to them Travis was meeting up with his niece and nephew for some sort of birthday surprise. So when he gets to the chosen meet-up place he witnesses his family in danger and jumps into action. Kaylee and Caleb get away and the Hacketteers have Travis.
While they failed to get their targets the Hacketteers figure that, hey they still got a Hackett. Travis is someone with an important town decision and as the eldest must be worth something. They'll have to deal without.
So they send out their message. The Hacketts have until the next full moon to pay up the money or else. This is a bit more than enough for the money to be decided.
As one would expect there's vitriol between Travis and his kidnappers, especially between him and Laura. She's the one that notices some odd things about Travis, namely that he's more annoyed about being captured than anything. And that at night when everyone has to tire down that he seems more depressed.
When they let him free for him to use the restroom he makes an escape attempt despite the good distance. He really can't fair against Jacob, Ryan, Max, Nick, and Dylan. So he's bound again. Come nightfall Laura is on watch duty. Travis asks why even does this and Laura says someone like him wouldn't understand with all the money he has.
Travis tells her that he's not worth anything and that any money he has is his own he's got not one bit of ownership of his family's money. Laura doesn't bye it and is caught off guard when Travis asks about her family. She acquiesces and only gives very basic answers. Travis asks her twice how much her family loves her and how she loves them.
She doesn't miss how bitter, sorrowful, and jealous Travis looks. He tells her just to kill him. They aren't going to get anything from holding him hostage, he's not worth it. And if they let him go he'll make sure they don't get near Kaylee and Caleb.
A few days pass and the Hacketteers send out another message. And nothing, they're getting worried that something is being planned and Travis is bringing down the mood, he doesn't seem to have the spirit to fight and volley insults anymore. Laura tells them what he said about his value to the family but they don't quite buy it.
A few more days pass and Travis has gotten so used to and bored with his situation that he ends up actively participating in casual conversations with the Hacketteers. He varies in degrees of snappiness when it comes to his family. Laura is still the only one who can see through him and any of his bs.
Finally, they reached out too, the speak to Chris Hackett. Laura notes that Travis seems more alive and hopeful than ever he's looked. But things are what they are. Chris lets them know that their only option is to release Travis and leave Kaylee and Caleb or any other Hackett be that the Hacketteers can leave peacefully.
Not even close to what they want obviously. The group agrees that they can and will leave the Hacketts alone, but they demand money for Travis. There's a beat and Chris once again asks them to release Travis. The Hacketteers demand money still even choosing an amount far less than they would have demanded Kaylee and Caleb.
There's a long concerning pause. Chris eventually speaks again, but he addresses Travis. He apologizes because his family, especially his mother and father, have decided overall they won't produce any money to the kidnappers for his release. They're concerned about Kaylee and Caleb and don't want to encourage the Hacketteers. Chris says, at least his kidnappers don't seem dangerous, they might let him go eventually.
Chris leaves and everyone is stunned by what just happened. They don't know if they're being set up or what. For the moment they try to re-plan and try to ignore how uncomfortable it has gotten with their hostage is breathing hard, clearly trying to cry.
Travis holds it in but has fully changed in demeanor. He doesn't talk at all anymore and he refuses to eat anything. He's got no more information to give the Hacketteers when they ask for other means of money through his family. Maybe it would make him feel better to do a little "take that" at them, but Travis refuses to give anything to his family still.
A few more days pass and they realize they need a new plan again. They of course don't want to kill Travis, but they know he will report them or something else to get them from escaping or pursuing further Hackett gain.
Laura volunteers to take the watch that night. It's silent between them, though Travis asks her to stop staring. In response, Laura gets a couple of beers. She holds one to his mouth and she tells him to drink. Travis refuses, but Laura keeps insisting and an argument is starting to rise in him. It eventually does but ends with Laura once again trying to get Travis to drink.
She tells him that he looks pathetic right now. So much so that the others won't question it if she poured several beers down his throat. She further says that if he does, they won't think much of it if he cries. He only gets through one bottle before he does start crying. When he gets his breathing under control Laura pours more beer for him. Laura one or two herself. They manage to get snarky, though now, comforting banner they used to have between them.
Ultimately the Hacketteers decide to pack up their operation and escape North Kill. They take Travis with them deciding that they'll leave him somewhere close to a road stop or something that he can walk to and call for some sort of ride.
And yeah that's the plot my brain vaguely strung together.
Wow fuck the Hacketts. I’m bombing them all gmskgkskgoagjsng
Poor Travis deserves so much better 😩😩😩😩 Laura better take care of him cause you know she’s not just going to leave him at the side of the road like an abandoned dog 👀
Your brain has been so full of angsty ideas these days 👀👀👀👀 good ideas, but very painful ones too 👀
