hate it so bad when i see takes that make me want to put on armor and defend white man from my dnd show #3 but i truly dont believe anybody can come away from trw thinking it's ruined bc matt is boring unless they go in primed and ready to hate the whole season just bc the critical role man is there

#does the scene w raphaniel and the archbishop mean nothing to you.. god..........hello............#'season is ruined bc matt is boring' skill issue! at the very worst he is just There. While surrounded by some of d20's best pcs.#d20 #trw #also. do i think the season would benefit from being longer. Yes. but god The Flavor of the pc dynamics. the bitterness. the drama.#theyre just as good as acoc I DONT CARE IM DYING ON THIS HILL they manage to make the same level of drama while being in a shorter format #and also. clearly. having a much less serious toll on the cast members.#like i dont think the trw players would lean into the fucked up nature of some of those dynamics as much if they got more time to bond #such is the nature of dnd storytelling that stories about love and friendship and found family are so easy but pvp is so hard
