not surprising but still wild that google added an ai feature to the very top of every single searches that gives incorrect information more often than not. like a beloved restaurant that randomly starts topping all of their food with cyanide one day for no reason. no you’re not allowed to ask them to not top your dish with cyanide this is the future of food

#it’s not like they needed to either? the google overview based on the first couple of results was already fine?#versus this one that just does not work at all #googles been kind of becoming worse for a long time but this is like crazy. i am fearful for elderly people and young children googling now #hell even just like. stupid people lmao #on the bright side tho #i feel like the biggest downfall of this form of ai is going to be the fact that the tech bros let it out to the public before it was good #theyre slowly ruining any goodwill that the average person would’ve had #so hopefully when it is good it’s a) already going to have support for regulation and/or b) people will hate it so much they’ll avoid it #is that too optimistic? probably but a girl can dream
