My friends wanted me to draw them as cats- and I already drew me and my other friend, so here’s the rest of them. Thickpaw is well above normal apprentice age- but he just, keeps messing up to get any sort of promotion- much sadly to Beetleflower’s (Gokuharu Gonta) dismay. Despite his appearance he’s lanky and short- one reason why he was kept in the position despite no promotion. Marshwing and Thickpaw like each other- but him being a Medicine Cat Apprentice makes it harder. So instead she focuses on her Warrior duties best she can. Bunnytail is a loud CoastClan Warrior who benefits from Whitestar’s (Angie Yonaga’s lax clan rules)- but the chagrin of everyone else. Shybird was in MistClan, but left- unable to handle the pressure of clan life too well. Sparklepelt is a super fluffy white cat. Super cute pink nose.

Hi Slug! Hlad to hear about your new snails and I hope you're doing okay. I have a few questions regarding cat genetics if that's alright as the interenet hasn't been that helpful lol. Would a chocolate tortie be able to have blue eyes? Would silver tabby or brown tabby/torties be possible between a russian blue and a chocolate tortie? And would heterochromia be possible in the kittens and would tufted ears be passed down or no? Thank you so much!

1) yes but only with significant white spotting or an eye color mutation (ojos azules (lethal) or Russian topaz)

2) no because silver (the smoke gene) is dominant, so at least one parent needs to be silver/smoke.

3) Tabbies aren't possible between two solid cats. If the chocolate tort is actually a torbie then yes, black tabbies can be born and chocolate would be able to be born if the Russian Blue carries chocolate (which it won't if it's a purebred)

4) Heterochromia can always occur but most often when there is white spotting at play. It's not very common but there is always a chance.

5) Tufted ears are even seen in some shorthaired yet thickfurred cats so yes definitely. I think it's mostly dependant on the thickness of the fur

Some facts about my og story and some in universe details. (I don’t got a good idea for a name yet)

It does take heavy inspiration from Warrior cats in the sense that the main characters are really intelligent cats that have their own society and have their own form of fantasy elements such as cats with powers.

But that’s were the similarities end , because these cats live more in a fantastical world then Warriors takes place in

Cats and other species replace humans and are Anthropomorphic, they can walk on their back legs if they have them and have more humanish qualities. You know Dnd style worlds, their world is simialr in terms of technology and magic as they developed this themselves without aid of humans.

The cats are not just normal breeds either, I’m gonna say fuck normal science in this world as well these ‘modern’ cat breeds are evolved from Big Cats such as Lions and Panthers. Even smaller wild car species slowly evolved into these more modern cats

And even then many cats can show signs of having a specific ancestry such as many spotted cats having connections to leopards and such but the majority are various wild cat species evolving into this more unique and diverse species. The equivalent of a domestic cat if you well

These ancient types of Big/Wild cats are called Titians, More species such as reptilian species have this as well that they evolved from too

Titian’s are pretty seen as legends due to their massive size compared to modern felines and centuries of stories of their origins. How certain big cats came to and what made them different from other species.

While cat species are the main focus of the main story as the protagonist is one, as the story goes on your introduced to other species like Snakes that have their own societies as well. Many species do interact and depending on their type of animal have their own way to fight and move around but still have anthropological aspects( I am taking more inspo from Kung Fu Panda on this, because I like the idea of different animal species having their own way to fight and move around)

These cats are capable of magic and science, and different types of magic as well, some having unquie types of magic that they inherited or learned such as music magic. But not every cat is capable of it or as the ability to harness it.( This can be for a number of reason depending on one’s situation)

There are many kingdoms with these cats that exist in hundreds of regions each vary in population or ancestry such as having more thickfurred cats in snowy kingdoms

Good Versus Evil is still a big thing but I have a lot of plans for this concept as whole

Cat names have some structure simialr to warrior cats and human last names, example being that these cats family share a common suffix but have a different prefixes

Ex: Father having the suffix “storm” but had the prefix Web, their kid would inherit the suffix but would get a different prefix like “Willowstorm”

ash took the fur from hudson and inspected it inside and out. after a almost a full minute of taking down measurements and comparing it with some of the other items in the forge, she handed it back to the demigod. “a couple more of those and i could potentially upgrade some armor for you! in the future of course.”

Some more of this AU (TLDR: the au where Lion Jay and Holly are raised in WindClan as Nightcloud and Crowfeather’s kits)! This time, all the WindClan apprentices together!

Some headcanons under the cut:

- Jaypaw has the B I G G E S T crush on Kestrelpaw and he refuses to acknowledge it and it absolutely kills him. Kestrelpaw is just so goofy and naive and sweet and any time he checks over Jaypaw’s wounds, Jaypaw can feel his soul collapsing in on itself. All of his siblings have found out pretty quickly, and tease him about it nonstop. Kestrelpaw, the poor sweet lad, remains completely oblivious

- Kestrelpaw, Harepaw (a p minor WindClan warrior, and current leader of WindClan in the current series I think?), and Antpaw (a WindClan warrior who trained in the Dark Forest in OotS) are all littermates -- their father is Owlwhisker of WindClan, and their mother a rogue who often lingered around Barley and Ravenpaw’s farm. During this time, Nightcloud and Whitetail (Heathertail’s mother) were expecting kits, but the pregnancies weren’t looking too well, so Owlwhisker decided to risk his reputation and bring the kits to WindClan to build their ranks. There was some grumbling about half-rogue Kestrelpaw becoming medicine cat apprentice, but Barkface insists that he’s one of the most efficient medicine cats he’s ever seen

- Heatherpaw feels a certain degree of loneliness, despite being one of several apprentices -- she’s the only apprentice without siblings training beside her (she did have other siblings who unfortunately died as kits). As such, she feels some bitterness towards her fellow apprentices --- especially Hollypaw, who’s Onestar’s apprentice, thus taking all of Heatherpaw’s father’s time. Over time, though, her relationship with Hollypaw does improve 

;)

- To the surprise of some, Jaypaw is one of the most efficient hunters in the Clan; he’s got incredible instincts, it’s easy for him to map out the moors in his head, and his body was built for WindClan territory; with their long legs and short fur against the wind, he and Breezepaw are easily two of the best hunters when they become warriors. He’s also incredibly good at finding herbs (a great excuse to visit Kestrelpaw whenever he wants) -- on a related note, though he’s not a medicine cat, it is Jay’s idea to start a garden for their herbs, and he and Kestrel tend to it together it’s their baby 

- Unlike their brothers, Hollypaw and Lionpaw have very... un-WindClan like physiques (many WindClan warriors attribute it to Nightcloud’s parents being rogues -- at least, that’s my headcanon for her). Lionpaw is a very large and thickfurred cat (he’s mocked for his large amounts of fur sometimes, but when the winter winds come around, everyones trying to cuddle him for warmth), and hunting on the moors can be difficult for his large paws that were made for the forest. However, that doesn’t mean that he can’t hunt at all; besides, patrols love to bring the large muscular warrior to scare off other Clans at the borders

Hollypaw, on the other side, is a munchkin (a headcanon I have for Firestar, Leafpool and Squirrelflight). Chasing rabbits on the moors alone is near impossible for her -- however, she’s incredibly smart. All it takes is some teamwork, or maybe even a cleverly planned trap, and she can bring home more prey than any cat. It’s her bright mind that makes many cats believe that she’ll make a talented leader one day

- Though all siblings are incredibly close to an extent, Lionpaw is especially close to Breezepaw and Hollypaw to Jaypaw
