Dragons In Our Midst/Oracles of Fire characters as things my sister said while playing KOTOR.

Billy, in a tone of glee: I just set our enemies on fire.

Bonnie: Billy, don't distract me from For King and Country.

Walter: I'm the bomb. One might say I'm the frag grenade.

Ashley: Everyone is at vaguely okayish health.

Karen: In my defense, I have no idea where we're going.

Clefspeare: THAT'S IT!!! I'm going single player mode!! *30 seconds later* My entire party is dead.

Roxil: We're going to die.

Makaidos: We already have.

Roxil: THAT'S NOT HELPFUL!!!!

Thigocia: Everyone gets a medpack! You get a medpack! You're in the doghouse, but you still get a medpack. Edward, you're the most messed up of all of us, obviously you get a medpack.

Gabriel: I respect Sapphira more than the rest of you.

Shiloh: Alright, we'll shoot you. Pew, pew, pewpewpew.

💖 Dragons in Our Midst/Oracles of Fire!

Well, since rules were made to be broken, you're getting my top three!

Ashley Stalworth:

I have this strange affinity for the type A characters in fiction. Ashley isn't the type A-est, but I still ADORE her. She's also the doctor character ™️ and the tech guy/girl™️. All some of my favorite character tropes. Also, I think that I, like her, kind of tend to feel like I have to be the serious one. Lastly, she's pretty kick butt.

Walter Foley:

Another favorite character trope: the funny guy™️. And Walter is hilarious, but he's so much more. He's not JUST funny. He both fits the stereotype, and completely doesn't. He's a great friend, and just as good a significant other. *eyebrow wiggle* yeah, I really love him and Ashley.

Gabriel Drake:

Yeah. I'm a sucker for Makaidos and his kids. Gabriel sacrificed himself for Patrick, and afterwards becomes such a good protector and friend to Shiloh, Bonnie, and others. He and Shiloh are adorable together as well.

Honorable mentions include Karen (*sobs wildly *), Makaidos and Thigocia.

I just saw that you tagged that picture "emotional support background character" so I HAD to look at the tag to see if you just use it (that's a fantastic idea 😂) and it made me wonder- who's your emotional support background character in diom universe? If you have one!

I definitely have some emotional support background characters in DIOM.

Gabriel, because he's just AWESOME. He's a wonderful protector, and SUCH a sweetheart.

Karen, because why not? I love her scenes in The Bones of Makaidos, and her sacrifice is so BEAUTIFUL.

Firedda, for absolutely not particularl reason. Except I feel like there was a scene where she's described, by Thigocia, as more gentle, and less of a warrior, and I found that FASCINATING, especially considering she's a dragon.

Naamah, but only in the last three, of course. Redemption arcs, people. Redemption. Arcs. Oh, and Valcor. He gives me annoying brother vibes that I love, y'know?
