A Celebration of Life: Shawn Mary Vezinaw Hosner

Vale Shawn Hosner, altruistic human and co-founder of @thinkspace_art ❤️💔

Shawn joined her ancestors on Wednesday, February 14th, after a courageous 15-month battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She was 57 years young and bravely faced the disease, passing on surrounded by her beloved circle of friends and family.

A CELEBRATION OF SHAWN’S LIFE will be held on Saturday, February 24, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Thinkspace Projects. This event is open to all, just like Shawn’s heart was.

I discovered Esao Andrews when I bought @circasurvive’s “Juturna” back in 2005. It was love at first sight to his art. Living in Italy, I never had (and probably I will not have) a chance to meet him or see one of their works ‘live’. I follow him online through the web since that day and his only art I own is on the Circa Survive records in my collection. Always dreamt a book including all of his paintings. That dream comes true. My first official task working for @thinkspace_art was to assist @cinta_vidal for a week up at the @moahlancaster! If you watched my stories you got to see the mural produced for the city as well as the amazing sold out show that took place at the museum (up until the end of December).
