#this brought to you by someone in discord asking about medieval underwear and me remembering i own a book about that and checking#(i may be a nerd but i am at least a HELPFUL nerd)#anyway suggestions welcome for Historical AUs though i can only really do european medieval to early modern#also i meant to stop apologising for nerdery because we really should normalise that sort of thing because really it *is* normal#everyone knows “slightly too much” about at least one topic it's just a matter of how popular that topic is with the general population#some people can name everyone who played for a given football team between two specific dates and i think that's beautiful#exactly as beautiful as when someone can identify a star trek episode based solely on the hair and makeup of a single cast member#❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
