first year squad plays twst

This is so rushed because I got busy with schoolwork again but I still wanted to do something in celebration of twst 1st year!! ive seen this trope being done in other fandoms and idk if its already been done before but here it is anyways! also grim's groovy brings me so much joy i love the first years sm😔💞

Ace

Ace is the that one player who has such insane gacha luck it just pisses everyone off. Nine out of ten he gets the SSR card in under 50 pulls and he's gonna flaunt about it for the whole week.

It's probably gonna be the characters that catch his eyes rather than the story. He does enjoy the plot, but he finds the characters all so distinctive and likeable.

Doesn't really buy merch. The most he'll do is stick some posters in his bedroom or have plastic stands on the desk.

It won't be a surprise if he gets caught playing the game during lessons. He just doesn't find the classes as interesting as the characters on his screen.

Deuce

Deuce is in love with both the stories and the characters. They're all captivating to them. He's probably the most likely to have comfort characters from the game.

He may be quick to fall in love with the game, but he knows better than to to get obsessed. He also won't allow himself to dump too much money into the game or merches. 

Which kind of sucks because Deuce's gacha luck probably isn't all that good. Half of the time he doesn't get the card he wants and he may get pretty down because of it.

Hyped about each and every update. He just can't get enough about the game. Sometimes he post online about his serious opinions on the new chapters or events.

Jack

If Jack is interested in the game, he isn't going to show it. He'll play it only after he finishes his schoolwork and such. It's more of a source of relaxation for him as it doesn't really require much energy.

He adores the characters, especially the ones that he relates to. May also look up to some of them and set them as role models.

Jack's not going to be all that interested in gacha. He prefers enjoying the plots instead.

Unless he tells others about it, there's just no way anyone will figure out that he's a fan.

Epel

He's gonna be pretty obsessed with the game? It's all just so pretty and addicting to him and before he knows it he's already in too deep, spending money on gems and buying plushies of his oshis.

Deuce and Jack has to stop him sometimes, but he just can't help falling in love with the characters. His room is going to be filled with merches, so many that Vil can't even bear to look into it.

It doesn't help that Rook actually encourages him. He thinks it's fascinating how Epel's eyes sparkle and lit up at the mere sight of the game title card. 

Knows every word of the theme song by heart, and he's going to hum the melody under his breath every chance he gets

Sebek

Sebek just absolutely adores the game and he needs everyone to know it

"Look at them! Can't you see how wonderful they are?"

He will make the first year squad listen to him ramble on about how majestic his favourite characters are and just how excellene of a game it is. Even though it's just a relaxing game he treats it very seriously, insisting that he defeats the opponents in battle with strategies and acing every rhythm with 'perfect'

He also buys quite a myriad of merches, and his room can rival that of Epel's. He's got framed posters and keychains, even from shopping bags to goddamn deodorant

Knows almost everything about the game. He's just so dedicated.
