ok i’ve collected my thoughts on evil dead rise so under the cut i will share them hehe!! THERE R SPOILERS UNDER HERE!!! i talk abt what i liked and didn’t like and i talk specifically abt scenes!!!! if y’all wanna talk to me abt it more feel free to send me an ask, i’m abt to nap cus of cramps but i will answer them when i’m up <3 lmk if u agree or not and what ur fave scenes were!!!

i didn’t hate it! i’d say overrall this is a high three or a very low 4, but i don’t think i’ll be rewatching this any time soon :/ i def prefer the 2013 remake but this was still enjoyable and i had a good time watching it!!!

i think the problem i had was i had seen the trailers (which were all clips basically? at least the official ones i found on tik tok were clips from the movie) and had spoiled major moments of it for myself. normally i’m okay with and love spoilers but i think i would’ve enjoyed this one in particular more if the few scenes had been a surprise to me!!

things i loved: ELLIE!!!! holy shit, i truly think she stole the show. the difference in her as human vs as a deadite was so cool, i loved her mommy shtick she kept through out, and i think she was so eerie (i legit had a nightmare abt her killing me a few days ago before i had even watched the movie and that never happens) so!!!! i also liked the story and the change of setting, it being in an apartment and confined on that one floor (for the most part) was so interesting and i loved the difference in the book of the dead from the other movies AND the vinyl!!!! the gore was top notch and i saw lots of practical effects which will always make a movie at least 2 stars for me!! also the girl who played kassie was good AND she did her own stunt for the elevator scene which was so cool hehe. i liked the more subtle call backs to the past movies in the franchise more than the overt ones!!

i rlly liked the scenes of ellie in the hallway through the peephole and how there was blood dripping over it!!! i I LOVED THE SCENE WHERE ELLIE IS LAYING OK THE GROUND AND BRIDGET AND DANNY CRY OVER HER BODY BEFORE LAUGHING. it was such a good scene omg!!!! also the scene of bridget under the sheet floating down the hallway following danny and kassie GODDDDD!!!! and not to praise deadite ellie again but the way she moves was so cool hehe, i rlly liked how subtly off they all walked and how it felt like they were getting used to being in a body again!!!

i also loved the opening title card scene after the girl falls into the water!!!! seeing her rise up in a blasphemous way along w the title card and have it reflect in the water OH it was so good!!! and the scene where the girl is talking and saying the line of the book the other one is reading made me go 😦😦 so!!!

also im also glad they didn’t include a tree scene, but they payed homage w the elevator wires. that scene was unnecessary in the first movies and is one of my least fave parts of the franchise (especially with how Certain Fans treat it) so i’m glad they didn’t include it LMFAO

things i didn’t like: most of the acting 😔 i feel bad knocking the actors bc obviously i’m not one and idk how difficult it is, but the acting from the non-deadites really fell flat for me most of the time :/ the main girl, beth, was so close to mia in looks and attitude it just kept making me think of her which wasn’t good bc i prefer mia LMFAO 😔 the acting from bridget was rlly where i found the movie lacking though :/ some of the shots were def not my type of directing style but i know they’re all call backs to the franchise so i cant knock them too bad but the weird split screen stuff that happened (only 2 times???) was enough for me to text my friend and go “ew” LMAO. i also hated how under utilized the other characters were! the old man, the young guy who maybe had a thing with ellie, the 2 kids. it was rlly obvious they were there to boost the body count to me which sucked :(

also side note beth’s acting rlly annoyed me towards the end especially in the garage with the close ups of her face and her lip twitching but JDNWKDNWJ again thags a personal thing so i’m choosing to ignore it when i rate the movie

the baby stuff w beth was annoying as was the groupie thing but i think that’s just me so i didn’t count it against them hehe. the scene where all of the deadite are telling beth and kassie “dead by dawn” was so fucking cheesy i couldn’t find it in myself to be even a little unnerved which sucked bc i kind of loved the combining scene but it felt lack luster at the end… some of the character decisions were also so ridiculous and i KNOW it’s a movie but guys. stop leaving ur weapons embedded in them. TAKE THEM EITH YOU. PLEASE. i know it wouldn’t have helped but at the end why r u leaving it up to chance??? i also thought the ending scene was a little meh with her not noticing the blood filled parking lot until after she was in her car? idk and to add to that, the opening scene was kind of :/ but i liked the drone fake out they did

THE LIU CHANG DMBJ CHARACTER META: WANG CAN vs LIU SANG

So first of all lemme just say I love these bitches, and what’s interesting about Liu Chang is that he plays them on opposite ends. There’s not much he can do about the fact that, y’know, he’s the same-ass person, but there are some very distinct differences between Liu Sang and Wang Can, which we will be talking about now.

PART ONE: BODY LINES

I’ve talked about body lines before! But now we get to look at it from the same actor in two different characters! As a recap, straight lines are strong, sturdy, confident, and straightforward; curved lines are weaker, but more interesting and more dynamic.

For example!!

We got our bitch Wang Can here!! This is our first look at this slimy man, and look! He’s like a square!!! All straight lines, all ups and downs. Him body a square!! The costume people also do a great job of boxing him up bc of the tailoring of his jacket, and the two neutral color palette. There’s no embellishments, no decor. This is a straightforward man!! He’s not hiding anything except exactly how much of a bitch he is

(Also notice that his hands are showing and in fists. This will be important in a minute.)

Next, we have our favorite boy Liu Sang, showing up for the first time (ignore the differences in angles):

Oho! He’s a curvy motherfucker!! Aside from the fact that his clothes are now tailored correctly to demonstrate his natural curves, this mans is also curving himself! His arms! Are loose! And bent!! His head and neck aren’t nearly as emphasized! And! AND!!!! His hands are in his fucjing POCKEEETTTSSS. That indicates FURTIVENESS! That indicates MYSTERY! We’re going to find some things OUT about this boy and we’re gonna like it!!!

In comparison, look at Jiang Wu:

LIU CHANG U BEAUTIFUL BITCH. He fucking BENT HIS ARM. He kept one straight and BENT THE OTHER!!! Oh joyous occasion!! We have a DYNAMIC BOY!! but not too dynamic—peep that hidden hand! Also I love this bc it was TWO DIFFERENT LIU CHANG CHARACTERS IN THE SAME SHOW!!! :D see!! Here’s Liu Sang again!

THIS IS A CONFIDENT LIU SANG!!!! He is CHANGED! He is capable of expressing emotions now! Look at just how much body language he has going on, while in comparison, Jiang Wu and Wang Can are like creepy Wood Baby Puppets. His body shape is boxy again, but that’s bc he’s the protagonist of this one. The plot hinges on him, he’s gotta be sturdy.

WHAT WE HAVE DETERMINED SO FAR:

Wang Can is straight lines, no hidden agenda (which is funny cause he’s a Bad Guy)

Liu Sang is dynamic lines and movement, and alludes to mysterious ✨secrets✨

Jiang Wu is a mix of the two and also a dumb dork (that’s not from the body language, I just think he’s funny)

PART TWO: HAIR, BABY!

Once again I owe my life to costuming people. Someday I’ll write that Mystic Nine costuming meta but today we’re focusing on Liu Chang and, specifically, his HAIR PEOPLE!!! I love them and would die for them literally

Once again, ladies and gentlemen and all my glorious they/thems, Wang Can:

OOOOOH I hate his slimy RAT FACE lemme AT EM. Ahem. Regardless, let’s take a look at this BITCH, shall we? We have: straight line face angles!! Very standard shape, BUT this is all accented by the fact that his hair is S C R A P E D back to within an inch of its life, like. Ahem. Sir. Please. Also this man’s got CONTOUR on. If u look at literally any pics/videos of Liu Chang out of character he is NOT this angular. His head is just as rectangular as his body, and the pulled back hair emphasizes his face, which is interesting as he doesn’t do a whole lot with it.

Alternatively, Liu Sang:

This is a nice boy!!! This is a nice soft boy!!! Look his face has CURVES that are emphasized by the glasses (which also draw attention to his eyes, which is good bc that’s where he does the most work, which we’ll get to later) and the HAIR!!! His hair is soft!! It’s flowy! It’s curvy! He conditions!!! This boy is approachable and will Not shoot you One Million Times with a Machine Gun. This also works with the Liu Sang Signature Ponytail, as he leaves thick-enough bang pieces out to also give the illusion of curves around his face. Also his nose and cheekbones are NOT as strongly contoured, so the angularity of his face is softened as well

WHAT WE HAVE DETERMINED SO FAR

Wang Can’s hair gives us the most access to The Face, giving him a slick, straight look, and also something else which we will discuss next

Liu Sang is Soft and Curved bc of the hair and glasses, primarily

Oh speaking of fucking which you know who else is soft??? Huang Junjie. That’s the softest man I have ever seen. His xiaoge is my favorite bc it’s perfectly believable that he’s Butter Inside based solely on his Cheeks (again, it’s the hair people doing the Lord’s work)

PART THREE: IT’S ALL IN THE FACE

The face is the actor’s best friend, and Liu Chang definitely uses his well. We know him as being sort of stoic, more on the Xiao-Ge end of things than the Wu Xie side, but if u compare Liu Sang to Wang Can, LS is going HAM with the facials.

Let’s take a look!

Fuck me UP!!!!!! Look at him!! This is one of the earlier episodes too so we haven’t even gotten to the real good stuff but!!!! Look at his eyebrows!!! Look at how wide his eyes get (once again, the glasses are jumbotroning the peepers)! Look at his unhappy lil mouth!! That’s a whole REALM of facial expression, and so early on in our journey!

Meanwhile, Fuckboy Prime:

This is at the very end of Wang Can’s time with us; he’s fighting and he’s going to die and he KNOWS it, but this bitch doesn’t even draw his eyebrows together. Mcwhomst???? Bitch u GOTTA give us more than that I’m BEGGING u

The other interesting thing about their differing facial expressions is that Liu Sang emotes mostly with his eyes, and Wang Can emotes mostly with his mouth. This is very obvious in the clip @xcziel posted, esp when he starts doing the whole gesturing-with-his-chin thing, but it’s prominent throughout.

These two screenshots were taken like fifteen seconds apart. He does a whole face journey, but only with his mouth. His eyes stay fixed; they move, sure, but they don’t get any wider or anything like that.

Liu Sang, however is always doing stuff with his eyes. For example (I couldn’t find an image of it quick enough but I know that @kholran has this gifset), the sacrifice scene where he looks up at Wu Xie with the biggest, most pleading and questioning eyes imaginable?? Kills me. The DEPTH in those bad boys. Fuck me UP.

This also checks out when we remember the glasses. Since they emphasize the eyes, we’re drawn to that part of Liu Sang’s face, so it makes sense that the majority of his expression would happen there. This is also prominent with his hearing abilities; whenever he’s trying to focus them (or get us to focus on him), he not only turns his eyes away, he SHUTS THEM, which means we as the audience know that there’s something going on underneath the surface, and really highlights the fact that this is an unusual and cool power!

With Wang Can, however, the structure of his face and absence of Hair Curves directs the eye to his mouth, so we watch that to tell what’s going on in his head. It’s all about directing the eye, and Liu Chang is very good at knowing where people are going to be looking!

SO: WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?

Liu Sang, Wang Can, and Jiang Wu are all very distinctly characterized through their body language

The same actor becomes different characters by using their toolkit (the body) to its full potential

Hair and makeup people are Wizards

Wang Can is a Whole-Ass Ho and I do not miss him even a little bit

Liu Sang’s body dynamics change over time and I love that for him!!

skam season 3

pacing/plot: 10/10

I don’t have much to say about this other than the storyline is some of the best most concise writing I’ve ever seen

I have some issues with the overall queer rep of the show that I’ve talked about quite recently so that’s why this season gets a few minutes points

still great season and deserves to be the international phenomenon that it is

skam france season 3

pacing plot: 6/10

representation: 6/10

personal enjoyment: 7/10

contrary to what you might think, I actually enjoy this season

but I think the themes weren’t fully developed; the light/dark thing was an interesting idea but it wasn’t explored enough imo

I also think some decisions threw off the pacing of the story, eg. the coming out to yann clip, the cuddle clip and how fast they were getting naked, the scene in the park somehow does not work for me in the context of the whole arc

as for rep, i can clearly tell this is played by straight actors, so if you’re not going to commit pls leave the role to some actual gay actors, thank you (no shade but maxence was solely cast for his looks 🍵)

also it’s like a very artistic approach [cough paint scene cough] and not really realistic (hate myself for using that word) which is a choice, but I choice I don’t like on a show for teenagers that is supposed to be authentic and down to earth

druck season 3

pacing/plot: 7/10

representation: 9/10

personal enjoyment: 10/10

I personally love this season so much, I have so many personal memories and feelings attached to it

I also think both david and matteo are some of the best characters in the skamverse, especially david is just a genius “Even but not Even at all” remake character

as for pacing and plot, i think a lot of the clips after david comes out and before they reunite in the swimming pool felt off/repetitive, and/or simply didn’t add enough to matteo’s story and development if that makes sense

there were some good moments but the timing can be a little messy and didn’t feel as organic as it should (prime example the clip of hans and the lube, really good clip but just wrong timing)

the public outing alone gives them 1 minus point tbh

representation wise i would say it’s really good and authentic and considerate (apart from that clip which should burn in hell)

david and matteo are literally the most soulmate-level healthiest couple in the skamverse, fight me

skam españa season 2

I think the only thing that really bothers me about the pacing is the ending, I think I would have preferred to have at least one more scene of joana and cris alone after they made up

love that we got introduced to joana literally 4 minutes into the season

about the representation, i have very few small issues

1) lucas getting punched, I’m never a fan of portraying homophobic violence though I do think it was handled alright-ish

2) cris and Joana being somewhat desexualized

3) this isn’t about queer rep but I am a tiny bit triggered by crisana’s fight, I think it was a little too much and they could have toned down on the harshness just for my personal sanity and bc it lowkey triggered me 🙈

wtfock season 3

pacing/plot: 4/10

representation: 2/10

personal enjoyment: 5/10 (i love hate watching it, can’t lie)

Wtfock is literally the polar opposite of eskam bc

1) They hypersexualized their mlm couple (which in my humble opinion is the worse extreme than desexualizing teen same sex couples)

2) And instead of introducing sander early they dragged it out until episode 3 and shoved a whole month of development into one single week

the pacing was literally all over the place, I was getting whiplash

they very much chose trauma porn every chance they got, not the queer rep that we need more of thats for sure

the reason they don’t have 0/10 on rep is that I liked a few talks between milan and robbe quite a lot (as a hater I’m embarrassed to admit that one of milan’s speeches even made me tear up, pls don’t take away my street creds)

skam españa the mess with lucas and kassim

pacing/plot: ???/10 (was there one??)

representation: 3/10

I literally haven’t finished their storyline/clips bc I am so angry about this, never felt so unjustly het-baited

skam france season 6

they just kept piling on and on with the plotlines and drama

and ended up resolving almost nothing

especially maya and lola’s relationship felt dragged out at first and then rushed in the ending

I do like that it’s rather causal queer rep without any big drama or trauma (at least concerning them being wlw)

imo though the queer rep should have been more of a focus and not just the 17626th side storyline that gets like 1 clip of development every week, their relationship simply didn’t have enough build up

I still enjoy this season a lot despite having quite a few major issues with it bc honestly it’s just a fun skins/riverdale/skam mashup vibe about a bisexual edgy girl who is a cheap copy of effy, I’m just weak for that kind of trash-y teen drama

druck season 6

pacing/plot: 8/10

it had really concise interconnected topics, and well chosen fitting themes/metaphors throughout the whole season (arguably the season relied too heavily on metaphors lol but I personally liked it)

the first 6 episodes are imo absolutely perfectly executed

I have some issues with the pacing in episode 7 and 8

I thought they found their rhythm again in episode 9 (until the thursday clip happened but let’s ignore that clip)

as for queer rep, you can tell this story had so many queer people both behind and in front of the camera, it warms my tiny little gay heart 💞✨😌💓🥺💛💕

I know probably no one (me included) considers mia’s or tiff’s season queer since both focus on a m/f relationship but I do want to talk about both of them real quick:

I quite like that max being trans was kept very casual and was basically a non-issue between him and tiff! also quite like the social media storyline of him legally changing his name, wish that was brought up more on screen. there were some questionable moments for ✨educational purposes✨ don’t know if that was always so necessary, also sucks that tiff stayed friends with her transphobic friend in the end, and I think the sex toy thing was not it but overall the queer rep was good 7/10

on the other hand I want to push druck in a lake for the fucking queer bait they put their audience through with hanna/mia only to make mia canonly bisexual, which fair enough at least fanservice somewhat worked, but then she never ends up saying the word bisexual??? god, druck’s queer rep in the og gen really was a wild ride 4/10 for at least trying I guess?

God not to be bitter as all hell, but I’m so glad that people are finally talking about ranboo. He’s always kind of pissed me off, and half the time I have no idea why. At the very best of times I think he can be funny and charming, and at the very worst, he is annoying, boring, and downright grating.

I can’t tell you how much I hate his style of roleplay. He relies ONLY on monologuing his thoughts, which would be fine, if he was good at it. But there is zero subtlety or nuance in any of his rping. Which, ok, not to be too harsh, I mean it is minecraft roleplay, no one is a master actor. But take Tommy’s exile arc for example, it still blows me away (imo) how well he handled his character’s response to the manipulation and abuse, not to mention the themes of suicide and ptsd, and just how the general pacing of the overall arc was so understandable and easily digestible to watch.

But ranboo is out here being praised for ‘the best acting on the smp’. No way. The absolute worst part to me is his dialogue. It’s not always horrible, but he has this crutch thing where I feel like he thinks he needs to constantly fill the silence with talking, but he doesn’t know what to say next, so he’ll just repeat everything he says multiple times. The worst offender I can think of rn is the panic room thing after lmanburg got blown up (Jan 5).

I just looked up a clip, and while I thought having Dream “be there” but not really be there was awesome, everything else was just an 18 min video of ranboo taking to himself. Which I get it, he was hysteric, he was trying to portray his hysteria. But that doesn’t change the fact that I feel like ranboo just talks in circles without actually going anywhere. I remember watching it live and clicking off bc I was so frustrated. And I felt the same about his latest big lore stream, especially with his convo with Sam outside the prison, just like ‘get to the point!!’ Lmao.

And I feel like that 100% bleeds over into his sense of humor. Like when he had hinted at traveling and then had his late night stream and chat was loosing their shit the whole time. Ranboo played along for fucking ever, I can’t tell you the amount of times he sarcastically went “nooo... of course I’m not in the UK, that would be ridiculous.” Like, shut up!! Talk about something else! It’s not funny anymore! Anyway, I guess my point is I think that ranboo’s sense of humor relies too heavily on either repeating the punchline, or just, not even having a punchline at all and instead over explaining the setup (or impersonating either technoblade or John mulaney’s speaking pattern—but that’s a whole different argument lol).

Ranboo does drag bits on for a fucking while. Like some are fine but others he isn't clear enough that it's a joke and some of his toxic fans obviously have a bad reaction (this is about his boring bit about not being in MCC) like by all means I don't care that he rattles on about the UK trip as long as you make it clear it's a joke not the whole "chat I'm joking" then immediately going "I'm not joking" like put a bit of text on the corner of the stream to clarify.

People who say Ranboo is the best actor very clearly only watch Ranboo and Techno. /j

The amount of clip channels I've seen condense down Ranboo's 3 hour lore streams into 15 minutes really shows how much he rambles. Like I understand rambling my ADHD makes it very hard to not repeat yourself however when it's lore the dramatic effect is really lost when you say "no oh no please not again" 8 times in one minute. Like have a notepad next to you with a rough script. Like I used to take theatre and my biggest issue was that if I didn't have a guide I would just go on repeating myself until someone stopped me.

SPOILERS!!!!! // i actually despise the route they've taken, i really do. if they really wanted dani and amira, and if they were endgame, i actually wouldn't have minded - i would've sighed a little bit sure, but i'd be ok.... but what they're doing with kassim... i'm just ... wow. disappointed and frustrated is a huge understatement. if they wanted representation it would've been great, but making that representation someone who could've been a really amazing love interest for amira? smfh.

uhhh i tried to put a “read more” but it’s not working???

yeah like i really like how the show has handled the first steps on the damira relationship, where there’s a lot of communication and you can see that they’re both negotiating. my biggest complaint is still that dani is a white man taking the spot on what originally was the place of a muslim man of color. and in that sense, i won’t give eskam a pass. while skamit pretended that they “ethnic-looking” white non-muslim female actress was a hijabi teenager of color, and that’s something i don’t think eskam would do, eskam is the second remake that has taken away one of the spots of that couple with two people of color, so they go to a white actor/actress.

but i agree with you: the worst this has got to be the kasim subplot. i DESPITE it with all my being for the following reasons:

perpetuates the notion that all muslim people are homophobic, something that they show has fought before in cris’ season and in the video lucas filmed with amira.

actually, let me go back to that video. because i feel like the eskam writers didn’t look at that video when they were writing this bullshit. both amira and lucas make points about how homophobia is not inherent to islam, that one can be gay and muslim because it depends on how people interpret their religion and how they feel their faith, etc etc. but then kasim spews out the same bullshit amira was fighting in the first place: that lucas, who lives in a christian environment, will have the support of his friends and people around him, but because kasim is muslim he’s deeply scared and doesn’t want to come out. it’s not because lucas is white while kasim is a brown man, it’s not because kasim has had particular experiences with his sexuality outside his religion. no. it’s because lucas is christian and kasim is muslim. and of course christian people are waaay more open minded than muslim people, right? that’s how LITTLE NUANCE was put in the whole thing. the entire story is written like any youtube comment under a clip of las labass, saying that they will punch cris for being bisexual and other islamophobic bullshit.

this kinda shits on the entire religious subplot of og s3. in og, isak’s mother insistence with showering his son with the word of God(tm) was what held him back from coming out to her and part of his internalized homophobia. the season also made points how what isak believed in, aka the evolution, could also lead into homophobic rationalizations of the presence of gay people in the story of humanity, while sana made sure to tell isak (and the audience) that hatred came from fear, not from religion. isak suffered because he was in a white and christian environment, where people were either disgusted by him (his parents at first), completely okay with outing him because “it’s 2016, get out of the closet” (emma, vilde at some extent, bunch of other people who spread the rumors in school), casually calling him slurs (magnus), fetishizing him and even (the dance girls, the skam fandom), and then people who were supportive of him (admittedly, not all of these things were called out in the show, but people got the point with the first two groups). the only muslim character in the show had absolutely no problem with isak being gay, and supported isak and even’s relationship: sana even got mad when she thought the balloon squad hit isak bc he was gay, when they actually hit him because he fought them first out of jealousy - and back then it was the white girls who insulted sana in the bathroom and who theorized that the balloon squad were homophobic. so, like, absolutely all of that is gone here. and in the last dani/amira clip, dani says how his parents aren’t actually “good christians” (hmmm the christian cult survivor in me absolutely loathes that term) because they’re intolerant and homophobic, but the fact that it’s kasim, the muslim gay guy, who says he’s in a bad environment, means that the show wants us to believe and empathize with him, right? UGH. very progressive of you eskam. i’ve never seen this before.

let me expand real quick on that last point. so far it’s only been amira, a straight muslim girl, who has told us that homophobia is not inherent in muslim spaces. WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK. but what i hate the most about this is that amira is clearly SO disgusted by this, the narrative wants us to be on her side and demonize the closeted muslim guy of color for this. all while we were supposed to take dani’s al qaeda joke as a funny thing that amira adds to the list of why dani is the funniest guy she knows and why she likes him. moreover, i hate this entire conversation: because amira has had two people come out to her. cris and kasim. and when cris, white christian cris, told her she liked a girl, amira was immediately okay with all of that. but when kasim tells amira that he likes a dude, amira’s reaction it’s just SO baffling: she accuses him of FOOLING and LYING to his family and the people around him. but she never once questioned why cris hadn’t told anybody this yet, much less call her a liar for not coming out to everybody. what the fuck is this!!!!!!! not only this is yet another way that the show demonizes kasim, but it’s purposefully writing amira ooc to do so. wow. i absolutely hate it. i don’t think i have said that yet?

and to close this huuuuge rant off lmao, i just really dislike that everything about kasim’s sexuality is misery porn: begging for the white guy he likes (loves?) to understand him and be with him, the pressure of being the only man on his family, the pressure of his sister trying to find him a good muslim girlfriend, how oh so homophobic muslim people around him are... even if at the end the show ends up saying (again) that coming out as a muslim is Not That Bad, all of this is just, immediately gonna make white/non-muslim people look at this and think: “yep yep yep, muslim people are sooooo intolerant, not like Me, raised in a good Christian environment, where we’re Open Minded not like those arabs”. and i already hate all of that, no matter what the resolution is. this is SO catering of western audiences only. terrible writing choice and i won’t let eskam get out of this one. even if they found a way to say the right stuff at the end, what they’ve done for now it’s enough for me to step away from the remake. but i’ll be here to criticize it when the entire episode is out, you bet.
