This spiraled out of control so I apologize in advance if you wanted something goofy, I must hit you with a brief analysis of Hanako's gender bend chapter before we get to the silly headcanons.

(heads up: I'll refer to girl Hanako as 'he' since he didn't seem bothered by Nene calling his girl form 'Hanako-kun', but if there are any hints I missed that genderbend Hanako prefers to use she/her I'll correct the pronouns.)

When Hanako is turned into a girl he lists things that only girls can do, and the chapter ends with him trying to seduce Kou, so that's something Hanako would consider off-limits normally.

Hanako's reaction reflects that, clearly flustered considering his heavy blush, but also unsure. Sweating. Out of his comfort zone.

It's interesting, cause being touchy and flirty is Hanako's comfort zone, he tends to exude a playful energy even when he barely knows the person: Be it girls or boys.

Yet flirting with Kou made him nervous?

Yes, because he isn't being touchy in a playfull way, he is explicitly tying his clinginess to the idea of attraction here, something he only ever does with girls. All his pervert gags are about girls, the idea he can be attracted to guys in that way is something he seemingly doesn't think about. Or if he does, he doesn't allow himself to express it.

Not as Hanako-kun, the boy, anyways.

I have never seen Hanako jump into someone's arms until he was turned into a girl. Even with Kou, he does his usual "I'll hug you from behind, sit on your shoulders, hug you from above, have you in my hold." approach to get his attention, which is a less stereotypical feminine way of being clingy than jumping in someone's arms.

So Hanako, who has somewhat of a 1960 mentality, seems to only let himself explicitly flirt with a guy when he hides behind a girly persona.

Just like he hides his vulnerability with a playful persona because a part of him genuinely loves teasing and being mischievous, he genuinely enjoys being a girl and doing things "only girls can do".

Dressing up is something he claims to not personally like, that he is 'just kidding', or that it isn't his really for him, but his behavior contradicts that. He wants to show off his new hairstyle with a big smile and a blush, not showing any distress at the gender or wardrope change.

He likely thought about styling up way before his girl transformation, considering we see him be "playful" in chapter 30, wanting Nene to paint his nails.

Maybe he wants to be cute? Cause "Cute" is a word girl Hanako uses a lot in the spin-off. He is constantly asking for reassurance that he is cute. And it is implied that what caught his attention and convinced him to let Nene dress him up was her saying it would make him 'cute'.

He wants to be a cute girl.

Not a sexy girl.

What does he always use to tease Kou? Indecent and lewd comments. He has a pervy humor that he didn't lose as a girl.

But despite the golden opportunity, it doesn't even cross his mind to tease Kou. He just asks Kou if he is cute, something that is personally important to Hanako.

The vastly different vibes between how he asks his dear assistant if he is cute (confident, excited, playful enough to go 'teehee') and how he asks the kid (nervous, flustered, dialogue full of '...' in it) is why I believe that on top of wanting the reassurance that he is a cute girl, Hanako also genuinely wants Kou to be attracted to his girl form.

He gets emo that he isn't Kou's type, not that he isn't cute. He explicitly says "I got rejected" So he was, even if subconsciously, serious in his seduction attempt.

Hanako is attached to Kou, but when he is a boy we don't get any heavy hints that Hanako wants to be seen as desirable by him. If he thought about flirting with Kou as a boy, (He sure was eager to jump in Kou's arms and play with his hair?? He play with Kou's hair! Wow...) he didn't show.

The closest we get is the promo art where Kou and Hanako are looking as far away from each other as possible and shifting in place, restless (either from anxiety or excitement). This is only noteworthy cause it is the first Valentine's Day art Aidairo posted.

And the way Hanako blushes, with little hearts, at the idea of biting Kou when he is zombified. (amyythestarry2's post was what made me aware of this scene, link: Here.)

If there are more moments I forgot, please let me know! But regardless of how he perceives Kou, we can say gender has an effect on how Hanako interacts with people. So it's hard to have a solid idea of how he would react if Kou turned into a girl.

You did ask for my opinion on it though, so below are my favorite headcanons!

I am a firm believer that Kou would not be a very feminine girl. He has a complex from getting the "mom role" at home and he wants to be "dependable, strong, and manly" so he would try to be as brash, 'tough', and boyish, as usual, occasionally switching to being self-conscious and mortified.

I can't see him wanting to wear dresses to fit his girl body, considering Mitsuba's loud displeasure didn't make him even consider taking his earring off and Kou isn't super into conforming anyways, he climb rooftops and scream at "air" so much he has a reputation in school, so it all boils down to personal preference and this official art shows how uncomfortable Kou looks compared to Hanako in a skirt/dress (is Kou crying here?? help-)

Just cause Kou isn't being cute doesn't change that being gender-bend would destroy the "Kou is a boy, and boys don't flirt with boys" box Hanako had trapped himself in.

For as much as Kou will express that he still wants to be treated as a boy, and Hanako doesn't make fun of things the kid is genuinely bothered by unprompted, it's... hard to pretend nothing has changed.

Baggy uniforms aside, Kou being a girl is still super feminine compared to usual, when Hanako playfully pokes Kou's cheek, he'll notice it's rounder now, he'll play with his longer hair with curiosity, and a tiny blush, notices Kou may still swing his raiteijou like a fighter but he got delicate hands now (we both know how different girls and boys hands are drawn in this manga, and Hanako like hands iughuyg) he got boobs too, Hanako is a 1960s pre-teen in his approach to attraction/sexuality, he will not be able to stay chill if girl Kou put him in a headlock for saying some dumb shit.

So Hanako goes in full '??' and '!!!' mode while trying to act normal, until he hits the same conclusion of "Wait, why am I panicking? I can flirt with the kid now! I can flirt with girls!!" and hides behind his playful persona to the max.

And since flirting with girls is something he is more used to, he will be more confused by how he feels when he wraps his arms around Kou in this new context, but also less nervous. Kou doesn't really take him too seriously though. "hanako is being clingy and playful and annoying." kind of dismissal.

When Nene shows up and tells Kou he should wear a girl's uniform, Kou will eventually cave in, cause he can't say no to Nene when she is genuinely so happy and eager to dress him up! He is more awkward and shy in a dress, his caring side also shine with Nene.

Kou is super sweet with Nene, when she cries that Kou has slender legs as a girl, Kou will reassure her that Nene is the one super cute.

That's the kind of girl Hanako likes on a very superficial level: feminine girls. Sweet girls.

And he already likes Kou as a boy, so this mix of different attractions to his caring side and his boyish attitude will make him want to explode. Hanako is full on ba-dum ba-dum mode and he have no idea what to do about it.

Think of this scene where Nene dresses up and the change in her appearance flusters him so much he gets overwhelmed and confused. He doesn't know what to do when he thinks she is being cuter than normal, so he defaults to making fun of her with something he finds attractive (her chunky legs) but knows she personally hates it.

Any confusion that comes with being flustered would increase tenfold with Kou cause he is aware Kou looks like a cute girl but he is not? Like he is, currently, but he is also attracted to Kou's normal attitude? His wide smiles, his goofy attitude, is all the same, and he always found it kind of endearing before, but is so cute now?? Attractive??

So what does he do? Act like an asshole to protect himself, just poke at his insecurities to hide how much Kou affects him, only to go to far and feel awful about it when Kou is visibly upset by it.

it would be one messy event.

Highly recommend purchasing if you have the means and access, not only for the art but also the insightful interviews.

On tumblr there's @just-like-playing-tag's compilation lamenting how TPN Committee can't be bothered to understand Emma's character and preferences because marketing that she's a girl takes precedence.

Offsite, the closest you'll probably get is TPN wiki's collaboration page listing, though as I've mentioned before don't confuse tlieilt_625p's art with official promo art. I still have no idea why their stuff is in the wiki gallery pages; it just serves to confuse more people.

For example, the TPN x Princess Cafe collaboration:

Their style is insanely close to the official art on a quick glance, but the heads and limb lengths and widths are a bit off.

My favorite promo collaboration art is probably with Megane Flower glasses (cute comic focusing on it by @kewstiny) just because I'm always a sucker for characters who normally don't wear glasses wearing glasses and vice versa, but also for reasons addressed here.

It's been about a week since Rhea took the test and you guys went to the appointment and found out that both of you we're in fact pregnant about 2-2 and a half months to be exact. Both of you and all 3 of the boys were very excited but some other people didn't have the best opinions about this. Of course you guys had to tell hunter so he could plan a head and set up a promo to announce you departure from the company for about the next year. The boys decided that it was alternate 1 being home and the other two being away every week so one of them would be home with both girls. Hunter was very excited to hear the news considering he was the one who brought you to NXT from Japan all those years ago. But some of your fellow could workers were not the happiest although you had the ones who were your closest friends out side the WWE Universe like Baily, Becky, Asuka, Seth, liv and so many others but then again not all of you got along in real life like solo sikoa which was weird because the rest of the bloodline were very good friends with you and Damian. Speaking of bloodline Sami was another wrestler fond of you all because of the whole poly thing he never understood and though it was selfish for someone to date more than one person. But all your guy's friends threw a party for you and Rhea as a going away for now kinda thing which was a lot of fun Bad Bunny was there as him and Damian were still the best of friends Rey was there as he was happy he was getting 2 grand kids and he said that if Eddie was still with all of you he would be so happy for all of you and be proud if how far Dominik has come and some of your friends brought their little ones as everyone loved them like edge brought Ruby and lyric and Becky and Seth brought Roux but it was a lot if fun and you were so tired afterwards that when you got home you and Rhea got changed into some pj's and just passed out on the bed. AHS Hotel Deleted Scenes Theories

Sometimes in promos or featurettes snippets of scenes are shown that never make it into the final cut of the episodes. There are a few from American Horror Story: Hotel that I really wish we could've seen so I'm going to list them here along with my theories of what they may have been.

The post-sex scene

This is a snippet from the promo for episode 5 "Room Service" and for the longest time I assumed the Countess' hair was reminiscent of the late 80s/early 90s and this was a flashback. However, I am now convinced that this scene is actually from episode 11 "She Gets Revenge" and I'll tell you why.

This gif is from the actual scene in the episode. Notice how the setup with The Countess smoking in the front and Ramona standing in the back is the same (just in a different location)? That is how I first noticed the parallel.

The reason why I think the deleted snippet happened after is because for one, when the Countess opened the doors to her bedroom in the actual episode, her bed was made and tidy. In that snippet you may notice in the background the sheets are messy as if someone had just been in that bed. The Countess is wearing the same makeup and nails as in the episode and her hair looks like it was the same style and she just let it down during their love session. I'm not sure where Ramona got that orange dress but I assume it would be from the Countess' closet.

I really wish we had gotten this scene because I am very curious what their conversation after they had sex was like and how Ramona eventually decided to spare her life.

This snippet was shown in a sort of fall preview promo for the FX networks. My best guess is that in this scene Ramona was in the Countess' penthouse for the first time (in 1977) and admiring her art collection. I can imagine that this clip was maybe shot to be shown when Ramona talks about how the Countess knew everything about art and literature (there is also a deleted scene where she's flipping through a book, which I'll get to in a moment).

How I know this scene is set in the 70s is because of 3 things. Number 1, her hair looks the same as it did in the 70s scenes we got to see. Her curls aren't as defined as in her present-time hairstyles. Number 2, her eye makeup is golden-metallic. If you look at her different makeup looks you will notice that her eye shadow in the 70s was always golden, whereas in 2015 it is always lilac purple-ish metallic (which was also popular in the 70s and may symbolize how she's still yearning to go back to that time). And number 3, the art piece she's admiring is not on display in Elizabeth's penthouse in the present. A somewhat similar figure could also be seen in the background of this behind the scenes clip of a scene that also took place in the 70s, though.

That shows how the Countess had different pieces of art on display in different decades.

This behind the scenes footage is from a featurette. Angela Bassett has talked about how she had to sign a nudity waiver for this season but, though we got a sensual scene between her and the Countess, we never actually saw her in the nude. I wonder if they also shot a more revealing sex scene and it just didn't make the cut but the closest we know of that Angela came to being nude this season is this snippet.

Ramona is nude wrapped in Elizabeth's blanket, implicating they just had sex, and flipping through a book. I can imagine this was possibly meant to be shown when she talked about the Countess' love for literature.

The Countess walking down the stairs

This scene may very well be the same one I just discussed because I am convinced she is looking at Ramona sitting on the couch here. Why? Because her hair is the same style it was when she met Ramona and her nails are still red, too. It looks like she just changed into a different dress. And also the look in her eyes and the faint smirk is very similar to how she looked at Ramona before, indicating romantic interest in whoever she's looking at (Ramona).

We don't know who the Countess is pointing at here exactly in this behind the scenes footage. But we do know that Ryan Murphy originally tweeted that "Angela will be making lots of trouble with Gaga in the ballroom and elsewhere."

The ballroom scenes are set in the late 70s when the Countess and Ramona started dating. However, Ramona is nowhere to be seen, likely due to the fact that she didn't get introduced until an episode later. Which is unfortunate because it would've been a lot of fun to see her in the ballroom and also given more context as to why it was Elizabeth's favorite time period.

That concludes my findings of deleted scenes from AHS: Hotel. I hope you enjoyed this little deep dive and are just as disappointed as I am that we didn't get to see these gems so that hopefully one day Ryan will release them for our viewing pleasure. It's especially sad because both the Countess and Ramona deserved a lot more sceen time, so to see they did originally have more scenes is frustrating. But alas I am grateful we got the scenes that we have at all.

The things I'm reading about the commentary for RW/BY Vol. 9 have made me want to write this post. It's just something I want to say, regardless of how it most likely retreads old ground or shares sentiment with other posts like it. At least it'll be more concise and filled with less angry ramblings than if I decided to write this last night, when I was first reading everything.

(Just to avoid confusion, I'll be referring to the characters/writers via their initials as a way of censoring them from people who don't wish to see this post. This makes it easier for me and is less annoying than having to put slashes everywhere)

I mainly wanted to focus on two things. One was the hacker crew (as I will "affectionately" dub the writers) deciding to off-screen W telling the rest of RBY of what happened to P and J killing her. The other was of ER saying on Twitter that he (and the rest of the hackers) didn't think R would find issue with J killing P. Anything else from the commentary may or may not have a separate post, it just depends on what is said and if it upsets me enough.

Let's address the second point first because I have something to say. I don't understand ER's logic here. Why did he, and by extension everyone else, think R wouldn't be upset/angry at J for killing P? She has every abso-fucking-lute right to feel that way! I mean, one of her closest friends KILLED another of her closest friends! Disregarding how it was P's choice (which I hate, btw), you mean to say R wouldn't lash out at J, berating him for not trying to find another way or doing more to save P? Even if R understood that the situation was complicated or everything was just going a million miles a second, I can't see her not being incensed at him. Shit like that needs time to process and I can't imagine R to be super calm after hearing that bombshell.

Which leads me to the first point. Why in the fuck did the scene of W telling RBY of said bombshell happen off-screen? Why do the hacker crew INSIST on off-screening important scenes like this? Even if fans want to say they didn't want to reiterate information the audience already knows, they could've made it to where W starts the conversation, fade to black or cut away, and come back to RBY's reactions afterwards. It's not that hard! Do they think scenes that are character-oriented are filler? I just can't understand their reasoning for doing this.

It's at this point I'm saying the writers are downright lazy. I've known for years now that they're not good but I know for sure now they're just lazy. ER can Tweet all he wants that he and the team should've been more clear on certain aspects of the story or they should've thought more on other aspects but the truth is, they didn't WANT to put in the work. It's too much effort for them to put in care for decency's sake so they might as well half-ass it or better yet, just shoot the first idea that comes out of their minds, write it into the story without any revising or editing, and call it a day. Let the fans who actually do more for the story than the writers do put in the work to explaining the plot because clearly, they care about the material and aren't thinking they're hot shit for writing nonsensical bullshit.

It must be nice, getting paid to sit on your ass all day while the animators you overwork and exploit the services of do all the work that you underpay them for. Wish I and the other people who create art, fanfics, videos, etc. could get money for all the promo we give you, whether that's our intention or not. But then again, the harassment we may receive for any fuckups on your end wouldn't be worth the blood money.

Hy everyone, I'm going to be reviewing the third Umbrella Academy season chapter by chapter couse I couldn't fit every thought in a single post!

I'm going to comment some important bits and then list the details I liked most in chronological order, hope you enjoy and feel free to rant in the comments/taggs with me <3

Episode 1: Meet the Family

Theories and analysis:

I think Ben is a bit sensitive about the scar because he got it during the Jennifer Incident and even though it didn't kill him this time around it probably was what led to his eventual demotion to number 2

I don't know if it's confirmed but I want to believe Christopher communicates through telepathy with the others

I'm going to bring this up again but why do they all suddenly think Five knows what might be different in the timeline? The whole show is about him not knowing this kind of stuff and trying to find out.

One of the things that bother me this season is that some of the conflict seems a bit fabricated. For example, I get that we need conflict right away but the Sparrows dismiss the Brellies so fast and have a very bullie like kind of humor? And the Brellies get so defensive of their childhood home, which they didn't even seem to like during the previous seasons, even before the Sparrows become hostile

Another example of this is nobody realizing that Claire doesn't exist before it's revealed. Allison hasn't lived the same life in this timeline, obviously Claire is not going to exist

I love how it's a consistent theme that Klaus kind of just comes across plot relevant shit without trying (Part 1. Hotel Obsidian)

Watching Viktor and Allison during the first half of the season hurts me so much because they could have finally had the good relationship they wanted since season one

I know we don't get to know much about how the Sparrows work in this timeline but I think the closest we get to knowing are Marcus' interactions and him referring to civilians as "sheep" when he talks to Viktor

Ok. As much as I love the Stanley plotline and Diego trying to figure out how to be a dad, how does anyone entertain this???? Does. Does it look like Lila is 12 years older now??? TO ANYONE????

I'll come back to this later too but after all the promos and such I expected all the Sparrows to have more screentime during this season kind of the way Lila did the previous one so it's a bit of a shame we didn't get to know them that much.

Explanation for the less obvious frames:

Top right: this promotional image shows El looking backward away from Mike as they hold hands at an arm's length, hinting at an upcoming separation. Note Mike is wearing yellow, the color established to represent Will.

Right second from top: the Boys Don't Cry poster is in itself yellow and blue (plus has green palm trees, the colors mixed make green, the palm trees hint at the "blue and yellow meet in the west" theory and imply the trip to California bringing them together)

Left second from top: the wall is yellow, the door is blue and noticably open. Hmmmm.

Second from bottom (both left and right): Will is regularly framed as standing between El and Mike, these are just two potent examples. Bottom right: El stands alone facing the threat ahead and showing her need for independence, meanwhile byler is framed as a pair standing in parallel framing to Jopper and Jancy. This is also particularly interesting because of the three pairings all sharing narrative themes and subtext.

Top left: body language mirroring, they have positioned themselves to sit in the same position. Max's rainbow shirt as she sits somewhat between them might be a stretch, but I'll point it out anyway.

Top right: they are flooded with blue and yellow lighting, Mike glances at Will's lips for the millionth time as his girlfriend is actively hiding and having a breakdown. He is distracted, he's too busy with Will to be there for El like she needs.

Middle left: in this frame Will's hand moves to clutch Mike closer, but hesitates. (Will has rarely been the first initiate when it comes to physical contact with Mike despite showing great affection for others like Lucas and Jonathan, showing his fears)

Middle right: Mike's hand clutches tight on Will's shoulder with no hesitation. This seems to be both to reassure Will, and to hold him close as if afraid to lose him again. His grip looks tight, emotionally charged. Mike has always initiated contact with Will easily, expressing how comfortable and trusting he is toward him.

Middle center: Mike actually did in fact notice Will crying. He didn't want to put him on the spot in front of others, and likely was having his own intense inner thoughts in this moment. We know already that Mike represses his inner needs and emotions until they burst. He simply hasn't burst yet.

Like with all things on this show, we know things like this are in fact deliberate choice. El has symbolically contributed to the space between them, and she needs to be alone to heal and know herself more than anything. El distancing from Mike opens the space between them, they are still apart, but there is no obstacle in this moment. When Mike is distant from El, he is closer to Will. This framing takes place as El is angry with Mike for a reason.

Bonus: both of them have at some point in s4 worn blue and yellow at the same time for a long period.

You're honestly on a very good start there! Art is a journey of self-expression and it takes time and dedication to create on something you love or have passion on! Don't be ashamed/afraid on what you have right now cos when you look back in the future (hehe), you can see how far you have come!

I'm still learning on how to draw Silver and the Mobians in general since I'm still quite new to the franchise. Hence understood the struggles/pain when it comes to drawing certain features and proportions of each character (for me its the five front quills in different angles, so much fixing/tweaking here and here...)

Having official photos of him as references somewhat helps me, until the colors and rendering comes by and oh boi that's a whole other story right there, the armour for Sir Galahad...lighting...absolute nightmare...

So I'm not sure if these helps, but I would recommend checking on Silver's references! Whether it's the 3d models from games such as 006/Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 etc, and/or 2d versions of him (e.g promo arts from Sonic Channels or the comics like Archie/IDW) which would get good ideas as to how he was drawn!

Plus, personal favourite of mine, if really stuck with what to draw for your fav, redrawing screenshots from games, shows or comics can also helps ya with understanding how anatomy, poses and all of the stuffs work!!

28. Have you ever tagged a fic “Dead Dove: Do Not Eat”?

No, I haven't. The closest I got was Downpour where I said in the note at the beginning 'Please heed "Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings."' I think it's fun that the Dead Dove tag is named after a meme, but I don't think it's super clear what it means, and given how much discourse I've seen about people misusing or misunderstanding it... I also understand why it exists, but similar to "don't like, don't read" it feels unnecessary to me. If a fic is tagged correctly, it shouldn't need a warning that yes, the author really means it. I don't mind other people using Dead Dove or similar, but I usually choose not to. I have a couple of WIPs where it could apply, and when I post those I won't tag them Dead Dove but I will put a reminder in the notes, like I did with Downpour. I might use Dead Dove on a reclist or a promo post, but I won't tag a fic with it.

This is only one cut line but it's the one thing I desperately want to share, so I'll give you the line and some context about the idea. I cut a line from Downpour. The published version is this:

“It’s not your fault, BJ,” Colonel Potter said gently. “It isn’t anyone’s fault.”  “There’s—paperwork,” Margaret choked out. “People that have to be notified. Radar—”

But for a while in the writing process, it went like this:

“It’s not your fault, BJ,” Colonel Potter said gently. “It isn’t anyone’s fault.”  "Maybe it's everyone's fault," Margaret said.

("Said" is a placeholder here, because I never decided exactly what dialogue tag I would use; there probably would have been an adverb.)

The idea behind this is that Margaret is horrified by what happened and blames everyone, including herself, for letting Hawkeye work too hard. Mostly I just heard the line in her voice and really liked it. The reason I cut it is that I thought it would be too cruel for her to say that in that moment, especially in front of BJ, and that she wouldn't do it. Unfortunately, the fic only covers that moment and is strictly from BJ's perspective, so there was no opportunity for her to say it later.

In my head, she does say it later, in one context or another. Maybe a staff meeting, maybe over a drink with Potter. I will never, ever write a sequel to Downpour, because it would defeat the entire point of what I was trying to do. There is no emotional resolution, no catharsis, because that's the point. The reader is left to wonder and guess at how BJ or any of the others deal with what happened. But just because I'm not writing it doesn't mean I haven't thought about it, and one of the things I thought about was Margaret becoming obsessive about shift changes and making sure everyone takes breaks. Of course she accomplishes this by overworking herself.

I'm still kind of sad I didn't get to use the line, but that's what "kill your darlings" means! It didn't serve the overall project so it had to go.

"I had to post this album and make a small yet passionate post about this. Pharrell has always been a top inspiration to me in my life. Every inspect in regards to fashion, music, personality wise, I saw him as important due to me not having a close relationship with a father-like figure. The closest person I saw a resemblance was my uncle (who introduced me to music). I'll admit I'm a super fan, ever since I was a kid, I ran up my mom's and neighbor's internet bill cause I streamed the Provider video for hours and hours on in because the bridge was beautiful. It gave a 5 year old me an high, still to this very day, I chase.

I remember being 6 years old, hearing about this album, watching Pharrell make his promo runs all over MTV, 106 and Park, and Rap City at my sister's dad house. I remember being glued to the TV, watching him flex over a fuckin' explosion, which made my fuckin' jaw drop, but it wasn't until the age of 8 or 9, when I got an IPOD that was gifted to me, and I remember begging to go back and get this album. For an entire year, I breathed this album, I found solace in the sounds, but the older I got, I realized as a kid I romanticized this album. For a girl that I thought was beautiful, I would play "That Girl" in my head, while staring at her in the gym. For a moment, I felt a sense of coolness about myself, I would play, in my head, "How Does It Feel", the album ended becoming a soundtrack for my imagination.

I wish I could share the emotions I feel when I hear this album with the world, but instead it gave me an instrument to use with love and sound. I hold this album very close to me, it held my mind in the darkest of times, made me romanticize even when I didn't feel like I could receive love, and made me feel like the coolest fuckin' kid on the planet. Really a fuckin' beautiful love story. Thank you, P."

A Few Pro Wrestling Matches from 2022 (in chronological order) ((this post is long , sorry))

{4.75 stars & The Beautiful Excess award}

Just 3 weeks after having a legitimately perfect 1-hour match, they have to follow it up with something that matches their previous brilliance without being too similar. The easy solution was to further the game of one-upmanship present in their first encounter but with half the length. Main difference here is that the challenge Danielson presented to Adam Page went from "can you keep up with me, champ?" to "can you handle me headbutting you for 10 actual minutes?" Yeah, it's probably not a great idea for Bryan Danielson, owner of prowres' most valuable brain since Bobby Heenan, to engage in vicious head-based offense... but I guess he was fine. Who are we to question The American Dolphin?

{4.5 stars & The Overcoming All Odds award}

Adam Page was AEW's best world champion and I doubt I'll change my mind until we see a champion come out on top in a manner as bonkers as this. You've probably seen a few deathmatches this year? I've only seen a few throughout the year. No single ultraviolent spot made me react the way Adam Page bouncing off the stairs and landing chin first against the ring post made me react. One thing I've slightly overlooked is how Lance Archer, for one more night, got to be a fucking star. It's a shame he didn't carry this momentum for much of the year.

{4.25 stars & The King's Road Triumph award}

When Y2J lost the AEW title in 2020 it seemed to me that he would be closing the in-ring chapter of his career within 2 or 3 years. I was verrry wrong. He's had the best prowres year of his life as far as I'm concerned. I have a cynical tendency to hold Chris Jericho to the standards that both he and his fans insist he is at. A fair 75% of the time, he misses the mark that I would expect from a candidate for 'Greatest Of All Time'. This is one of the exceptions where he really hit a home run. The aforementioned cynic in me wants to hand it ALL to Eddie Kingston, but that wouldn't be fair. Jericho helped set up the dramatic heights of the bout just as much as Kingston helped in executing them. It was one of the closest 'duo-minded' matches you could see all year. I imagine both guys shared only a quick glance before walking to the ring, both knowing exactly how the match was gonna go.

{5 stars & The Most Cathartic award}

I simply cannot do this justice in such few words. The feud between Punk and MJF was magical television. Every week was a highlight of ALL wrestlingI watched this year. Punk's promo where he invites Max to be. his. valentine. Followed of course by Friedman's promo where he reveals his 'origin story' of sorts, which is the undisputed best promo he's ever done. The feud was nothing too complex in the grand scheme of things, it's a grizzled veteran vs confident young guy story at its core... But it means a lot more to a gal like me who knows CM Punk's history. Someone who watched Punk as a kid and began to wonder what he was doing before he was in WWE. Learning about Punk's pre-WWE days invited me to find more Ring Of Honor matches online which inevitably led me to everything they had to offer. I found more about the American indies, I found New Japan and Pro Wrestling NOAH, I found my niche. And I can personally trace it all back to the time I learned that CM Punk pinned Austin Aries and then told a fable about an old man and a snake.

The match was pretty good too!

Acute satisfaction came from seeing MJF finally get his comeuppance by way of a flatback bump into thumbtacks. Thanks Wardlow, you sexy man!

{4.25 stars & The Better Than BOLA award}

(No, i didn't only watch AEW this year) Every couple of years in pro wrestling you find that one. The one who just ticks all the boxes. "Speedball" Mike Bailey is that one for me. They just know how it all works. Couple them with someone who also happens to tick all those boxes and you get this match. These two had had a match for 2022's Battle of Los Angeles tournament, which was fine but I felt it went a bit longer than needed. Well I thought it did, but it turns out this match here is only 4 minutes shorter than their PWG match. The difference is night and day, although some of the moments are carried directly from that initial match. It's just a much better execution for the most part.

{4.5 stars & The Comedy Bullshit Award}

I love Jackass. I love Sami Zayn. You'd expect this to be an incompatible pairing, considering how explicit all of Jackass' content is, but the easy workaround is to have this match work as a straightforward comedy match rather than anything exceedingly violent. Let's not kid ourselves now, in what world would it be a good idea for Johnny Knoxville to have a legitimate pro wrestling match? He's had more concussions than Mick Foley. The action is as competent as a WWE prop-comedy scene could've been. If it were Johnny Knoxville with anybody else then it wouldn't be on the list. Samuel Zayn is the patron saint of giving a hundred and ten percent.

{4.25 stars & The Bleedin' Gums award}

There are few ways to genuinely shine on TV when you've come up through the independents, even in AEW's world. Most of the time, crowds are familiar enough with a talent so that they don't have to establish much more about themselves that isn't able to be seen online. Wheeler YUTA took things a step forward by not resting on his laurels and instead finding a new way to stand out. In this case, he gets promptly massacred by Jon Moxley. The amount of blood that flows from YUTA's head could fill a pool. The one moment where he's face-up on the outside, face fully coloured in red, the money shot for Wheeler if there could've been one. Mox don't slouch either, he puts up one of his best performances all year and that's saying a lot. The speed when he starts hitting those Hammer&Anvil Elbows is remarkable.

{4.25 stars & The Denzel Washington award}

This fight is a cult underground jazz record that was only on vinyl for 20 years and then inexplicably found its way to streaming after some weirdo celebrity found it and loved it. I feel it aimless to analyse this match as a match, since it's portrayed as a gang fight that just so happens to be in front of a crowd. We get a lot of wild moments throughout, my personal favourite being when Danny Garcia hits a Piledriver onto Ortiz or Santana from the apron onto stairs immediately after J.R says "Stop posing to the crowd, nobody's looking!" I could list off all the cool moments but I'm more inclined to praise Eddie Kingston for a bit. How is it possible for someone to feel so genuine when they are trying to light a man on fire while covered head to toe in another man's blood? I'd like to stop for another second to show love to the owner of that blood, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard. This fuckin guy bled like a Funk Brother and then covered himself in mustard with those cuts still fresh. What a madman.

{4.75 stars & The Best Sequel award}

yeahyeahyeah I know The Briscoes ain't the most jam-up guys in prowres, but they can still craft a fantastic match when they need to. FTR are unfortunately in this negative space with fans right now, because Dax Harwood (FTR Bald) is being outspoken about things that aren't exactly popular or fun to talk about. I don't know why Cash Wheeler (FTR Not Bald) is getting flack too but that's only because I imagine when Dax isn't around him, he de-spawns from the area like a video game NPC. My point is that these two teams made some magic with this match despite their inherent flaws as teams and as personalities. Perhaps a bit of length could be cut and perhaps a hope spot or two could be removed, but dammit this is the kind of pulpy, high-stakes tag team wrestling I adore. Plus I just love the 2/3 Falls stipulation. That was a big bonus for me. (btw their first and third matches are great too but i like this one more)

{4.5 stars & The Marvel Movie award}

This match was unstable. (that's a joke) Imagine the unsubtle and overproduced fighting in a Marvel Movie action scene and now imagine that being applied within the confines of a wrestling ring and voila you have this match. WWE have this weird thing where they have main events for the world title feel complacent in their content. Roman is able to have a good/watchable match but only when he's with someone that he's wrestled before. He and Brock "Punches Moons Into Smaller Moons" Lesnar have had some stinkin' rotten no-good bouts before, just look at their match at WrestleMania this year! There was no optimism from me nor my pals, whom I watched SummerSlam with, that this match would be worth a damn. ... But then the tractor came out and the match shot from a solid 3.5 star snooze right to a 4.25 classic. ...... Then Austin Theory (yuck) got his SHIT ROCKED and it went up another quarter. Sometimes it's worth giving the benefit of the doubt. You may just turn the night around in your favour.

{4.25 stars & Loud As F**K award}

I knew this match was good when Starlight Kid no-sold a Butterfly Suplex from the top and I had no qualms about it. This match is a sleeper hit that comes right in the middle of a round robin tournament where nobody expects it. Fast-paced and hard-hitting, two very common attributes for this promotion's best matches but quite bloody apt in this case. There's one bit where I swear Giulia's elbow pops out of place with how hard she swung it at SLK's jaw. It's no wonder both these wrestlers are my favs in all of STARDOM when they're this captivating in such a "throwaway" match during a Round Robin tournament.

{4.25 stars & The Welsh Irish Pride award} This match is how to show you appreciation to the long-time star in Sheamus. Let him wrestle someone with no restrictions. Nothing but the hardest of hits and amplest of steps taken to get those hits in. This match is subtle for the longest time, waiting for a right moment for Gunther to get ruthless. If this were to be Big Gunth vs anybody else then it would probably open with one of his trademark CHOPS (in all caps), but they play it coy and they don't have Gunther hit Sheamus with a CHOP until a good few minutes in. And only from there do things escalate. The crowning moment being when Sheamus drops Gunther with the High Cross. A move that is always in Sheamus' moveset in the video games but one i've not seen him use since maybe 2011. If Sheamus' legend status in WWE was in question before this match, then that debate was taken out back and kicked up the backside after the crowd's standing ovation.

When it comes to deathmatches, I like to see men willingly bleed in pursuit of money and glory. Jun Kasai is one such man who has legitimately done that for 20 years. Look at his back and you'll see the shell of a tortoise. El Desperado is a New Japan star who I, admittedly, held in little regard beforehand but now i think i want to see this man succeed in every way possible. Jun Kasai is comparable only to a decrepit deity with aspirations for mayhem and reverence for suffering. He takes all the worst ideas for wrestling moves and then makes them more brutal, for a random example imagine a Canadian Destroyer. Right, you've seen one of those before? Picture that move off the top rope now. "Actually let's amp it up a bit and let's add a Double Underhook so then Despy can't protect his head on impact." Oh! Okay then Mr. Kasai. "Let's also add a stack of chairs so the aforementioned impact is a smidge more painful." Whatever you say! "That ain't the end of the match by the way." Fine by me! Don't stab me, sir!! It's a madman's match for sure. It also gets a bit sentimental during the end-match promo, but i must declare that I was a little distracted that point because i had seen the best deathmatch of my damn life. ------------- That's my list! I LOVED this episode!! I thought it was great :DD. I honestly didn't expect to see the others (besides Shea) today, and while it means this review will take longer lol (although for my own sake I'm trying to shorten them xD), it was a pleasant surprise :D.

So, quick note on Andrews! An icon as always, helped Lim realize how she felt about the Danica situation, and support Park on the surgery <3. He was there more than he sometimes is lol, but mostly he was just kinda chillin :). Still, helpful :D

A bit on Perez and Jerome - I MISS YOOUUUU <333 😭❤️. XD. But, there just wasn't room this episode for them to fit in - we barely got Jordan (I'll touch on her in a second). And yes I'm aware Jerome isn't even a mine character, shush xDD. But, I'm sure (okay not actually but we'll probably see at least Perez lol) they'll be back next week :D. I look forward to their return :)!

Jordannn :D. We didn't see much of her this episode, but obviously, I love her as always 🥰🥰. I think most of what we saw of her was suggesting the incorrect approach (xd, but still good to remember they're not perfect especially her and Asher since they're still residents), and her going 👀😳 at other stuff going on lol xD. Well, maybe not hate (for a while anyway), but they're not the closest, and this was just really great to see :')). Especially because (and no offense to Shaun on this lol) it wasn't over Shaun this time :'). Like, they weren't bonding over him, this was something completely separate, and I love that <3. Park aaannd Morgan :))! Y'all were wild once again this episode xD. That argument after meeting with Andrews 😳. You could just FEEK the vitriol coming from Morgan. But, I'm glad everything worked out with the patient (Palo, I think?), and with them :)). It was nice to just move on from that, with apologies of course. And it sucks for Park with Kellen not coming home :(, even though it is the reality :/. Doesn't stop it from sucking though, does it, Park xD? But, anyway, it was also nice to see Morgan support him and be kind regarding that <3. And then of course, the news that Morgan's egg implantation failed :(((. That is so awful 😭😭. I really hope she gets another chance and that it ends up working that time :'(( <333. And of course, it was really nice seeing Park immediately going to her side (not quite literally but almost/kinda lol), being kind, and being there for her ❤️❤️. Park saying he was there if she needed a friend, and Morgan saying she just might take him up on that :'DDD. Amazing <333.

Asher!! My poor boy xdd. Man was going through it this episode, lol /hj /lh. He kinda was, anyway lol. I'm glad he didn't just let Danni slide - he knew, and there wasn't any hiding that. It was also nice just seeing him be knowledgeable :D. It's also fun to see that for any of them, especially outside of like, brainstorming sessions. Anyway, it sucks that he's in probation :(( (and has the note in his file and whatnot), but he was smart with the way he did things, and they did still save a man's life :'D. With the situation they were in, I don't think he really could've done any better, but he definitely could've done worse (punishment/end result wise), so that's good :DD. I don't know if we'll see much of the impact of it, except maybe an odd mention, since the probationary period isn't too long in terms of a tv show. But, since Lea's pregnant, you can't have things take place too far apart. So, hey, who knows ┐⁠(⁠ ⁠∵⁠ ⁠)⁠┌? I will say that I'm torn between wanting to see a bit of the repercussions and not seeing them, since it would be kind of painful lol xd. Plus it would be a reminder of Danni, which is sad now of course :(. Anyway, I always love seeing Asher support his friends - it's just one of the things he does :) - and the same goes for him with Danni this episode. Like he said: he didn't wanna desert her :). I think that's great, really sweet <3 ❤️. Long story short lol, I love him 🥰🥰🥰!!

Lim :))! I think she did the right thing in "losing" the bullet. And honestly? Her reactions to the entire situation were pretty reasonable. She was concerned about Danni (:D), she was angry but decided to operate anyway, and she wanted to remain Danni's friend but knew she had to fire her. It sucks, though :((. I really hope we'll still see her occasionally since she is Lim's friend, because as she mentioned when trying to convince Lim, she's been really vital in this whole process. It's a tough one (I'm speaking from experience here, even if I'm not wheelchair bound), and it helps to have someone who gets it to go through it with you <33. Anyway, I feel bad for Lim 😭😭. I really do hope they can keep their friendship, it's so sweet :')). But yeah, I love her :'D <333.

Now, Lea and Shaun! I really loved their storyline today :D. Seeing it separate from everyone else's (I didn't even expect to see the others lol) was definitely interesting and I think it worked really well! Plus, their communication was so good :'DD (it always is these days :)) ). But yeah, I loved their discussions, like over Lea's feelings, and I feel like it was some really important stuff to acknowledge. Yes, they have fears, and yes they're going to make mistakes, but they will try their absolute best, and that's all they can do :')) ❤️. They love each other so much 😭😭❤️. And I am sure they're going to love their son that much too :')))). Also, AAH they were so adorable with Buddy this episode 😭😭❤️❤️🥰. I honestly do hope they get a dog sometime in the future (maybe not too close to the baby being born, before or after, because that would be a lot lol), I think it would be really cute and amazing to see :)). Plus they just seem like they would love that so much 😭 xD 🥰. Anyway, it's too bad that they couldn't take Buddy home, but I'm glad he got back to his family :'). And again, just to reiterate: Lea's conversation with Glassman = gold 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️😍.

Lastly, we of course have Danica Powell. I loved her this episode :'). And yes, I'm going to keep using her full name for the drama lol. It's her last day, let me (and her) have this xD. Anyway, I think this was honestly totally in character, and even though it's a shame she has to go, this makes sense. It was a good way to go out too - saving a life at the expense of her career. I mean, obviously you don't want to lose your job over it, but nonetheless xD. She was so dedicated to helping Vince, and she was willing to do pretty much anything <3. I'm glad she had Asher, and to a certain extent Lim, to support her this episode :'). But I am gonna miss her so much 😭😭. We haven't even seen that much of her, and I feel like we definitely could've had some interesting storylines in the future (we have already), but alas, it is what it is. I will say that it's interesting she leaves soon after Lim regains some mobility, but I don't think her friendship with Lim and the role disability plays in that was the only factor lol. Anyway, I'll miss her ❤️❤️❤️🥰. She was great, and fun, and I also loved the disability rep :'D. Like I said even just this episode with the little scooter thing - it's the little things that can really make it sometimes :)). Besides all that, she was cool and knowledgeable and confident. She was steadfast in her beliefs and opinions, and even if sometimes I thought she needed to be a little more willing to bend, I can respect it. Danni will be missed by me :'( :')). I love her ❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰.

Overall, I really loved this episode. I liked each of the different storylines, I thought the cases were really good and interesting, and even though there were some people that it fell short on, I liked the focus around on most of the cast of characters :)). Like I've already said, I expected this episode to just be Shaun and Lea, but it was so much more and I'm glad for that fact :D. I really enjoyed it 🥰. Rip to Jordan, Perez, and to a certain extent Jerome - we miss y'all and hopefully we'll see you again (with larger parts, in Jordan's case) soon lol <3. And of course rip to Danni, much more literally, considering her time on the show and her career xD. We'll miss her <3. But yeah, I thought that all the storylines were great and managed to all fit into and episode and flow together pretty well :). Despite being all completely separate lol. Anyway, I really loved this episode :D!

Okay but like - I'm so happy I'm not the only one who discovered stuff about themselves with Tomarrymort & Snarry, because those ships were there at all the right time periods for me (and Kylux too, let's not forget those two guys, I don't know who I would be without my intense phase where I identified with the Kylo in my head) Like I still remember reading Cambiare Podentes when I was just getting fluent in english and I didn't get what sauteed meant, and coming back to it years later and realising that I knew now! That's a fic I've reread a few times throughout the years and I love-hate old me's comments. I was cringe but also I was 14 you know. Btw if you want Snarry recs I have read so many I have some for every taste 👀 (except time travel time travel is not really my thing lol. but otherwise we got lots of options here at Ram's fanfic folders and AO3 bookmarks) So anyway yeaah we're ship besties <3

Also on the topic of writing? 1) I'm glad that inspired you, I'll definitely give your fic a read when it's posted 👀 but also 2) I feel like you're the right person to share this with so. You know how people have like, little daydreams about stuff and sometimes it's about fandom? Yeah so one time I had a dream where Harry and Tom were together but Harry and Severus had something going on and I thought it was cool that spawned an AU/daydream in my head. I still have all my notes on it but overall it's like, a soulmates thing where you get a tug towards that person, and Tomarry are soulmates and have known since Hogwarts, they went together, the usual. But a few years after Harry still has a pull towards someone else but not Tom, and obviously it's Severus. I thought it would be fun to force Tom "have you looked at someone else today darling?" Riddle and Severus "insecurities and self-sacrifice" Snape to share a soulmate y'know. At some point I wanted it to be omegaverse but I thought that might just be a little too much. So yeah welcome to the club of people who know about the Tomarry/Snarry AU, there's two of us now! I also have a bus Tomarry one because public transportation my beloved lol. Actually I took a read through the little AUs/snippets I've thought of during the years and damn it's too bad I don't write those are such good ideas (and by that I mean they appeal to me personally)

tomarrymort and snarry really are here at the exact right time, just like obikin and kylux have been for me too! Like, the pining and the inherently unhealthy dynamics and the obsession in all of them are just so good! And having discovered these things about myself, I can go forward with my writing and make it that much more intense and deep and affectionate, because what is writing except the baring of the soul such that others may have the same catharsis as I?

And that doesn't even get into how these ships all have the range! No matter what dynamic you're looking for you can find it with all of them! After being a chronic rarepair shipper, this is such a wonderful change of pace!

Omg I'd love your snarry recs please [insert eyes emoji]!! I've read quite a few already, such as Completely Innocent by Snarry5evr, Ingredients of Respect by Lizzy0305, and one of my personal favorites, With Eyes Wide Open by suitesamba, but everything I've read has come from the @houseofsnarry discord server recommendations, and I'd love more recs!! (I'm on part 3 of Pacify, and holy shit this fic is incredible, I can see why it's your favorite! It's just so long I need to take breaks in between parts lmao, y'know?)

And re: time travel!AUs: I didn't think I liked the trope, and then I read love is touching souls (surely you touched mine) and omg Ram. Ram. This fic is so. I know I went into your askbox about it before but I will never shut up, this is one of my all-time favorite fics next to Transparency by oldesthuntress (which is a Hetalia prucan fic that I have reread annually for nearly a decade), and oh my god. I cannot get enough of time travel!tomarry. I will never get enough of time travel!tomarry. The pining! The time travel shenanigans! The sheer idiocy of two men completely destroying the timeline by being homosexuals in the 1940's! I love themb so much, I cannot thank you enough for this fic rec, like fuck dude it was so good

I still have to finish that beedlink fic that I started with every intention of only taking a month to write completely, but y'know health shit happens lol. An idea that only appeals to you is still a good idea btw, because 1) one should always create for themselves first and foremost and 2) if one is to ever post their work, there will always always be an audience, and even if that audience is only one other person, there will always be someone who loves your work!

omg so I have watched two episodes of Kenobi so far, and then I haven't watched the rest yet. It's that time again! Time for "Persona 3 Fun Facts I found while browsing the internet for info because P3 Reload is on it's way"!

Alright, here's what I'm able to discern. Back in March 2006, Famitsu released a special DVD to act as the first trailer for Persona 3. It was also released to the web as well. I've linked a YouTube upload, as well as an upload on the Internet Archive in much higher quality.

Now, here are the things I found interesting. First off, it uses some early tracks. The ones that I know have the most differences compared to their final counterparts are "Burn My Dread-Last Battle" and "Want To Be Close". (my theory is that the vocal mix for those tracks were not finalized at that point, so they used those early versions without Yumi Kawamura and Lotus Juice's vocals) We even hear the unused versions of "The Voice Someone Calls" and "Master Of Tartarus" that are found in the game files in this trailer! "Burn My Dread", "Changing Seasons", "Troubled", and "Master Of Shadow" sound the closest to their final versions. (though "Master Of Shadow" has a unique intro and outro made for this trailer.)

Next, onto gameplay differences. One thing that is pretty consistent in the earlier gameplay segments is that battle backgrounds look radically different from their final counterparts. Course, I could not snip any footage of those without significant motion blur.

Some other differences I noticed compared to the final game include:

Mitsuru's hair color being RADICALLY different compared to the final game in this shot from an anime cutscene.

Fuuka's little Christmas tree being present during the Protag's arrival.

Certian scenes having different lighting, for example, the protag's invitation to S.E.E.S., and Natsuki in the dorm room during the June Full Moon Mission.

Fuuka is somehow the navigator during the May Full Moon, even though she doesn't join until the next. (also notice the different HP and SP counters as well)

An unused Chihiro sprite with her holding a clipboard, that doesn't appear in the final game (Correct me if I'm wrong). Interestingly, this sprite is present in both the P3 artbook as well as her trading card in the Persona 3 Atlus Frontier Works trading card sets (which I'd like to see some high quality scans of someday).

So far, that's all I've been able to pin-point, but let me know of other differences that I missed. God, this deep dive into Persona 3 knowledge is getting insane for me. But who knows? Maybe I'll find even more obscure P3 information that surprises me over time.
