Hello yes, I have been assaulted by thoughts. May I present you all with this Sherlock x The Magnus Archives au that just kind of *vaguely gestures* writes itself???

Main character knows shit he absolutely shouldn't by normal human standards, mystery genre with suspense, it's even set in London for God's sake. Enter the headcanons.

The Holmes Siblings

• Family serves The Eye and keeps relations with other avatars.

• Not blood related, like the Fairchilds. Holmes is just a name, but they were raised together.

• The Holmes kidnapped them when they were very young because they had an interest in gifted children, similar to the institute in tmagp.

• Mycroft was brought in last to keep an eye on the other two, he is still the oldest.

• Timelinewise the family attempts a ritual that goes wrong. "Uncle" Ruddy, head of the family, dies in the attempt and Eurus is weakened to a debilitating state. Also goes a little insane due to the Eye's influence.

• The Holmes run what is basically The Institute.

• The Diogenes Institute has close ties with the Yard, the government and royal family. One could even say they run most of them.

• Sherlock is basically the Archivist. Barely acts the part. Obsessed with closing open cases.

• Basically works alone untill he meets Lestrade and later on John, with the rare exception of Molly being included.

• The archives are in utter disarray. This is not on purpose, it is just his way.

• Out of the three, Sherlock is by far the one that abuses the Eye's power the most. He does feed it but he uses it to exhaustion.

• This is the reason Mycroft is still a motherhen.

• Mycroft is head of the institute.

• Has the most control over the Eye's powers. He does feed it a lot. Having access to the entirety of London's cctv feed does help.

TMAGP S1 Finale and Epilogue SPOILERS

Ok, I'm wondering, at what point does Colin call Alice? Because I am guessing after the call is when he goes down to the server room to smash Freddy with the hammer. So if that's true, Colin called Alice before the incident which makes sense cause I can't imagine him being able to use the phone afterwards?

But Colin tells Alice he messed up. During the call. If he wasn't talking about getting trapped or hurt by Freddy what was he talking about? You can argue it was the build up of stress but he seemed pretty rattled by something in particular.

Card 5 of the TUA tarot: The Hierophant - Pogo

If I had a nickel for every time a character of the umbrella academy died impaled on some animal's horns I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Gotta confess here that I am not a fan of Pogo, which i think is a bit of a hot take around the fandom. I do like (kind of) sparrow timeline Pogo... He actually confronted Reginald and gave the kids "an out" kind of? Umbrella Pogo? Yeh, was kind on a surface level but probably knew all of the stuff Reginald was responsible for. Including all the experiments and Ben's killing. Still insisted on carrying out his will till the end. So yeh, not a fan.

Card 4 of the tua tarot: The Emperor. I was honestly in between drawing Hargreeves or Carmichael because of the commission motives of the last cards but it just felt wrong.

Tried to keep the "Thank god we didn't inherit those cold dead eyes!" quote in mind, although he does have a very neat style, Colm Feore is too powerful.

Card 3 is The Empress and of course I had to draw the fashion icon that is the Handler. Best villain in the story no questions asked 💅

I did alter her dress a bit and it is not the one she goes into the apocalypse to meet Five on BUT it is my favorite one uwu✨

3rd card of the TUA Tarot: The High Priestess

Man, watching Lila on the second season finale was chilling. She's so cool, I love this chaotic woman. Absolutely nothing bad could have possibly happened in the last season to ruin the character. Nothing at all.

Once I finish this series of cards (because October and art stuff) I will make the s4 comic. Still don't know what to do about the squid but it will be Klaus focused, he is my fave after all.

Anyway have Viktor in a hypothetical White Violin suit, wish we could have seen it at some point.

What was Reginald's plan sending his (knowingly at that point) immortal child anywhere near Jennifer? Like, what was the plan if it was Klaus that touched her instead of Ben??

Can't believe I didn't realize this until now but how do the Fives avoid paradox psychosis?

Like some of them apparently work in the Interdimensional Train Station Café or whatever (bless brisket Five).

I get that they are not creating a paradox per se but that's kind of weak when we've established a phenomenon that occurs when two or more versions of oneself gather in the same vicinity.

I've not seen this mentioned but that resolution also doesn't make fucking sense.

As Five states. All marigolds must be absorbed to have the Cleanse stop.

In the new universe we assume that the Hargreeves do not have powers because they were used to restart the universe (which Allison not having powers also doesn't make sense unless she willed it).

We know for a fact that 43 women gave birth on the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989 because it is the first fucking line of the show.

If Ben and Jennifer had to absorb all marigolds in the world to have the universe go back to the original timeline, it doesn't matter that they all sacrificed themselves. Because there are another 35 people out there who weren't absorbed.

I'm going to at least rewrite the Jennifer Incident because there was a decent way to do it and justify nobody remembering exactly what happened. And that was not it.

Also the Hargreeves Siblings and us fans deserve better.

Ok, on the one hand we have the heavy implication that the umbrellas don't remember how Ben died and on the other we have the S1 moment where Klaus talks to Ben about his dead saying "I know you weren't ready to die a violent dead at a young age".

But consider. Klaus is not in the room or at least doesn't appear to be, in the last trailer.

But in case he doesn't know how Ben died. Did umbrella Ben not know either?? He must know??
