This one is long, immense, ultra suspensey, with a lot of different characters interacting in interesting ways I never thought before, very lawlight and very explicit, (but I read it all in like 3 days because it caught me BAD and was foaming at the mouth during the entire course of it), also was the founding inspiration to my BB brainrot and design-> Nights

Finally, my AWESOME friends have made abbie x my BB fics for me back in the days which I treasure with my heart, I feel a bit schoopid sharing them because they're basically my OCs and their story remains a secret but they're beautifully written and. How I feel about L and Mikami

L is special to all of us, love the guy, haven't met a single DN fan who doesn't like L. He's just fun and unapologetic which is what I like about him the most.

Mikami I have a hard time caring about, he's just not my usual type of character at all. He's too rigid for me, although he has his unintentional funny side. I also felt he had no chemistry with any other characters, so that made him less interesting for me

they're all in one connected multiverse, and I like thinking of silly little scenarios, so technically they're all in a slice of life

with one exception!!

Undersocation!

which is a work in progress but the basic plot synopsis is that it starts as a slice of life and shenanigans with the association employees

but then the Catalyst happens and what's basically the apocalypse happens

our main characters are Sans (Spade) and Kyrian, and their main goal is to find their respective brothers, Papyrus (Clover) and Evelin

they don't know if Pap and Eve are okay or even alive, because they were out of town on a mission--but they were due to come back on the day the catalyst happened, so their status is unconfirmed

From the wip list tag game: I gotta know, what is "The New Magicians" series about?

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM TO TALK ABOUT THIS

Okay okay so. Context: When I was in 5th grade, I had a really distinct way of doing warm-up drawings, where I would scribble all over the page and then find figures in the lines and color them. During this, I somehow wound up with 4 characters that kept appearing in these warm-ups.

So I started drawing them more and more, and eventually these random doodles spawned a story in my head. Also, I was dedicated to the idea for making books targeted for my age group that were also not as "easy" to read (I was a very pretentious child, if you can't tell). But I wanted them older because I was sick of protags that were ten years old. SO I MADE THEM 14 YEARS OLD.

Anyways, this series has evolved into a story that is near and dear to my heart. The three MCs are still 14 years old (one just turned 15), but the story follows them as they start high school and adjust to that reality as well as being constantly summoned to the world on the other side of the curtain where magic is the norm.

(I'll go more in depth below the cut, if this sounds at all interesting. Also there are a lot of extreme spoilers down there just because yes. It's a fantasy story and them discovering magic isn't really a twist at this point haha)

The main characters are Cori Whimsinberg (she/her, 14 y/o), Esmee Platt (she/her, 15 y/o), and Trevelle Wickerson (she/her, 14 y/o). I have not drawn them in FOREVER but here's a really old ref I made:

The story basically kicks off when Cori finds (and puts on) a cursed ring. This triggers her magic early, and she grows fairy wings (I swear this has proper lore to explain it), which in turn also triggers an early manifestation of Trevelle's magic. Esmee, feeling left out (as she has since the beginning because Cori and Trev have known each other since they were toddlers while they just met Esmee) has a bit of a meltdown and winds up getting accidentally kidnapped by an evil enchantress.

AND THEY ALL END UP SEPARATED IN THE MAGICAL WORLD! And so our side characters come in.

Cori meets a shapeshifter named Pachir (she/he/it, 14 y/o), Trevelle meets a sprite named Cythis (he/him, 15 y/o), and Esmee meets a Merrow creature named Karales (he/him, 168 y/o). They also get help from another shapeshifter named Knem (he/him, 18 y/o). (Pachir is the 4th character that kept appearing in my warm-up doodles.)

And then of course things get chaotic. But, as the hero's journey dictates, they all get back home safely until the start of the next book in the story.

One of the reasons this story is still so near to my heart is that these were technically my first OCs. My first written stories were about them. Everything started with them.

Also, the story has a lot of rep that I wasn't seeing at all in the stories I read back when I created these characters. Esmee's dad and brother are Deaf, so she knows ASL. Cori lives with her single mom after her dad passed, and the story does talk about this grief processing that she has been going through. Trevelle is a "tomboy" character and she is faced with a lot of challenges when high school starts and she is stuck on that gender divide. Cythis's parents are divorced, and he has to deal with that stigma in his culture.

When I revisited the story and was rewriting things around the time I was figuring out my identity, it occurred to me how much ace coding I had put into this story, as well as neurodivergent coding. This story helped me understand a lot about myself when I realized that there was only 1 (very forced) romantic subplot. I've kept that subplot because it explores other things I want to explore.

ANYWAYS! I'd happily talk more about these character but my break is almost over and I've gotta go give a presentation for a class. Here's a bonus for reading this far:

Um... so I've heard that you're comfortable with people talking to you about their ocs, and I wanted to hear your thoughts on mine, if that's okay with you ofc! <3

My oc is a Creepypasta one, so If you fin it a little cringey pls keep in mind that I created it on 2017 and I just went adding or removing things and/or aspects of her personality 😭

Okay, let's start from the beginning...

Her given name is Katherine, althought her "real" name is Variaton_LifeExperiment.07.-Attempt1.

She is an experiment realised by The Offenderman, she was made using parts of a recently dead body that he found in a Hospital and tons of wires and robotic parts and programings. She was created to guide young beautiful girls to him under the cover of asking them to take her to x place saying she was lost, so The Offenderman could woo them into spending a night with him.

Katherine was always LifeExperminent07 to The Offenderman, or at least for the first few months of her existence, because as time passed by her human brain began to work again thanks to the electric shots that sometimes the wires sent through her body, and so her past memories started to appear again along with human behaviors and emotions. He saw how LifeExperiment07 began to develop human emotions and thought acording to the age of the corpse he used to make her (a 13 y/o teenager exactly) and so he gave her a name, Katherine.

After some time, Offenderman had to go away for an indefinited period of time to "solve" things with The Splendorman and left Katherine with his most responsible brother, The Slenderman, and so she went to live with him temporaly.

(and since this oc was made in 2017 you can imagine that my oc started living strange yet funny adventures with all the fanon! creepypasta steryotypes we had back then lol).

Now that her backstory's been explained let's move into her appearence:

She is 5"3 and has medium dark brown hair, very messy dark brown hair, it gets kinda wavy in the ends but not to the point of being curly.

She only has one human eye, a blue one. The other one is covered by a piece of metal since he used the eye cavity as a space for conecting wires.

What is left of her human skin is white, a pale tone of white, but not to the point of looking like a glass of milk tho.

She has little freckles in her nose and right cheek (the left one is the one that has the eye covered with metal and so you can't see the freckles).

Her original clothes were a kinda torn apart hospital T-Shirt alongside with a pair of short jeans, black stockings and a pair of white converse. Anyways, when The Offenderman started to notice her more human-like behaviours he bought for her a new outfit, her current one, which is composed of a black oversized hoodie with a red rose drawn on it's center, a red skirt (the same color of the rose) and the same stockings this time with red doll-like shoes.

If we move onto her personality...

She is a very caring bionic little thing who loves to smile and to make people smile. She tends to laugh at everything that seems funny to her and can tell pretty good jokes.

Her intern program is connected to the internet so she is a very good help to plenty of the manor residents when they need information on something. She also has a selected dictionary that, to her much dismay, won't let her curse so the creeps like Jeff and Ben tend to (kind-heartedly) laugh or make fun of her when she can only bring herself to say "Zoinks!" when scared or frustrated (just like Shaggy from Scooby Doo lmao).

She can also mes a little with her programing and use her human eye as a projector on the white wall on game/movie nights.

She is also kind of hyperactive and as her two legs are mainly metal and half of her right arm is too she loves to go into places she shouldn't. Like climb onto trees, walk on the manors ceiling, hang from the spider lamp in the dining room or sleep on the top of the fridge 💀

That's all I think, Sorry for the rant but I just don't have nobody to listen to me talking about my ocs lol 😭

Initial concept work, fun fact Vill's arms / torso is based off an Oc I've had for several years named Starling. They have a few similarities in that department but otherwise are nothing alike. Maybe I'll show you her sometime :o).

Pass two¡ Very close to the Vill that we have now. Also the beginning of his freckles which later turn into moles¡

Original concept on how Vill and Evie met, it has sense been altered as Evie has been altered. Also the first pass on Vill's knee high boots.

Height chart for scale Cross and Megagram are about the same height. Also Vill just has big hair so look a little closely. Anyhow you see Final Cross and Almost final Evie. She's just about there. Her antenna switch between being under her hat and not.

Cross and Vill interactions shown in a video I posted. Again Cross kinda freaks Vill out, mostly because Cross towers over everyone and Vill knows a lot about his specific model and make. As Vill was a lieutenant and often assisted a friend with older bots. Note Cross was in active Duty for Three years before Vill joined.

And some final poor Vill character sketches. I Don't know how well I express his personality. But I hope it comes off how I mean it too-

The reason Vill has the most character related sketches and concepts compared to Evie and Cross is because they were originally just going to be supporting characters in his overall story.

And Evie has the least as her age was changed and her story was muddled with abit so after about two passes she got her final desgin.

There's some stuff relating to Vill that still needs to be drawn out that will come out later. such as his moms and what he looked like pre-cyborg. Also his eyes started off completely normal then he just became perpetually traumatized-

His color scheme is oddly enough mostly my favorite colors. My favorite color my whole life being Purple. Which the main complementary being Orange. Green scar wounds, though the community gave Formies blue blood, green appears nicer with the rest of the pallet. I have drawn Formies with blue blood before or at least the implications of such. Will his scar colors change¿ We'll see. His eyes are yellow and yellow compliments purple nicely. Also hearts because I like hearts. The moles are left over from when he had freckles.

Finally his full name is Vilcrom Capra, so his full title is Lieutenant Vilcrom Capra. But he prefers to be called Vill and hardly if ever brings up rank.

Day 1 - Meet the artist ;D

My FF4 OCs

I've been meaning to put something up on this blog, so I'm posting some art of OCs from one of my DA accounts. They're specifically characters in FF4. They both have ties to canon characters, but relationships develop and mature with time.

First up is my first girl, Elaine, the Lunarian.

Though Lunarians age far, FAR slower than regular humans, she is, at least by Lunarian years, around Cecil's age. She, unlike her other fellow Lunarians, elected to not enter the Lunar Sleep, and since she was a child, has been fascinated with the Blue Planet. Though after the war with Zemus (in my story, an outright war happened), there was a stigma around the astral body as a whole, many Lunarians, especially her father, Muda, wanting nothing to do with it (having lost his wife and Elaine's mother during the conflict with Zemus). Yet he couldn't contain his daugher's fascination and curiosity, and while it was through deception, she managed to sneak past her father's watchful eyes and not go into the Lunar Sleep with him when she was a teenager (in Lunarian years). This way, she could work in studying and making plans to visit the Blue Planet herself one day. This insistance in doing so stems from her inability to do magic, a handicap that has isolated her from her fellow Lunarians, thus, she delved into technology and mechanics, she viewing visiting the Blue Planet as something that she can use to make a mark on history and prove to others and herself that her handicap doesn't hinder her.  It is when one of Kluya's sons comes to the Red Moon that not only is her curiosity peaked, yet the two begin to come together and discover more about each others' worlds, as well as deeper feelings that spring forth... I wanted to make Elaine classes that fit her character, yet also ones that may not be seen that much in the universe she dwells in. In the beginning, she's basically a combination of a Machinist and a Gunner. Machinist is nothing new for FF4 (Cid and the dwarves), yet I don't think there are any Gunners. I know it may clash with the general setting of FF4, seeing as it's more swords and sorcery, yet given the Lunarians are far more technologically advanced, I didn't think it would be too out of place (there are giant ships, portals, and fat robot chocobos after all). Plus, it'd fit with her inventing stuff for herself to compensate for her inability to use magic. In FF4:The After Years though, while I don't want to give too much away, she eventually goes down to Earth, looking for Golbez/Theodor. She dons a spacesuit of sorts and uses her plasma pistols to combat enemies. Basically, I see her as something of a Lucca from Chrono Trigger.

Second up is Delphi,

Delphi resides with a nomadic tribe that lives in the deserts of Damcyan, outside of Kaipo. She is the daughter of the chief, and has been gifted powers of sight into the past, present, and future, she essentially being an Oracle. Despite her tribe's mannerisms in not staying in one place for too long, many have come far and wide for Delphi's readings, even Prince Edward himself once came to her to recieve a reading.  Of which she was reluctant to tell, as she saw that his beloved, Anna, wasn't long for this world.  During the struggle against Golbez and subsequently Zemus, she and her people stayed out of it, yet when a mysterious drifter came to their village, she would soon be drawn into the life of one of the event's main participants. Kain had been traveling through the deserts when he saved a young girl from nearly being eaten by a gigantic sandworm that had been giving the villagers and Kaipo trouble lately. They all welcome him in, and Delphi recognizes him as the one she had seen in her dreams, him and his 'shadow'.  Hearing this, Kain immediately asks if she had seen 'him' come their way. Going into her tent, she tells him that she knows why he's here, as she knows where he has been. After the events that transpired, Kain went up the Mount Ordeals and trained to rid himself of his darkness. Then, that is when another him manifested, a dark half. He escaped, and Kain had been searching for him ever since. Delphi then told him that she had also seen that he was right in coming here. He would find his dark half, yet he was not ready. He asked what he had to do to be ready, and Delphi said that she would be willing to help guide him with her sight.  Thus, he traveled with her tribe and became friendly with them. He traveled still in search of his dark half, yet he would escape each time. Thus, he returned to Delphi to seek her advice. Yet it was through each of these visits that she would work out with him a obstacle that was holding him back, such as envy, guilt, etc. She said that these were fueling his dark half and he would never be stopped until he mastered these emotions. With time, he got closer and closer to finding and beating his dark half, yet each time, Kain lost him.  Over time, however, instead of going to get advice of where to go next, Kain began visisting because he genuinely wished to see Delphi, she in turn looking forward to seeing him as well. He was conflicted about it at first, worried that he would only see her as a 'replacement Rosa', yet found that while yes, he had developed feelings for her, Delphi was not Rosa, she was herself. And he would want it no other way.  On one visit, however, Delphi was the only one found, everyone else having gone missing. She told Kain that they had all been spirited away to a remote, deserted ground far off in the deepest parts of Damcyan, a kingdom that was once rumored to be the heart of a great empire that sought control over the world, Palamecia. It was also then that she reported to him that a spirit had been hanging over him, one of a dragoon from long ago. A dragoon named Ricard.  The grounds of Palamecia are haunted and cursed, the souls of the former residents trapped, and demons roam the place. Her fellow nomads are being drained of life and must be saved from the evil that has taken them captive. An old foe of the world that had wished to rule both Heaven and Hell... Yeah, there's some theories that FF2 and FF4 are connected somehow. This is unlikely, yet I'll admit that I like the prospect of it, so given that this is fanfic stuff, I decided to incorporate some FF2 in this. Plus, FF2 needs more love.

Animaniacs OC Bio #1: Laffy Joyjoy

Picture of Laffy & my other Animaniacs OCs (The Misfits) here! This is the first time I've ever written anything this long on my OCs, so please be kind! I’ll probably edit/delete stuff. If there's anything else you guys want to know more about Laffy, the ask box's open!

Full Name: Laffinia Joyjoy

Species: Cartoonus Characterus; Same unknown dog-like species as the Warners

Age: 14, about the same age as Yakko

Family: Taffy Sweetnsour (adoptive little sister), Scott Braxley (adoptive little brother), & Cousin Libby Joyjoy (cousin, legal guardian)

Personality: Zany, optimistic, lovesick, smart, witty, clumsy (sometimes), flirty

Likes: Jokes, cooking, singing & dancing, chocolate covered strawberries (or anything chocolatey), fashion, listening to music, reading, etc.

Dislikes: Getting yelled at/picked on by grownups/”Special Friends”, the dark, extreme cold & heat, someone causing harm towards her friends/family (esp. Yakko), being left alone, etc.

Voiceclaim: Tara Strong; picture Laffy’s voice sounding like Twilight Sparkle (w/o the Pony-speak!) with a few hints of Bubbles from the original Powerpuff Girls

Backstory: I already did a backstory on the Misfits and how they met the Warner siblings here!

Laffy’s known for her bubbly, perky, and comical sense of humor. Similar to her Warner counterpart Yakko, Laffy’s the leader of the Misfits who tends to be the wisecracker of the group and makes sure she has her younger siblings’ back whenever they need it. Laffy’s schtick involves switching her range of laughter, mostly to annoy the “Special Friends” (hope that makes sense!) & doing impressions (kinda like Babs Bunny). She’s also a very creative artist who loves writing poetry and drawing as well (especially about a certain Warner brother 😉).

Her relationship with Yakko is more of an on-an, off-again relationship with occasional flirting. Laffy believes that Yakko doesn’t love her the way she loves him, not to mention, she gets crazy-jealous whenever he’s flirting with somebody else. On the other hand, Yakko does like Laffy but he’s not fully used to having someone who’s actually into him, especially after so many of his past crushes (ie. Hello Nurse, Minerva Mink, etc.) who usually just freak out and run away from him.

Facts/Headcanons:

Similar to Bugs & Lola’s relationship in Space Jam, Laffy’s the only one to get Yakko all choked up & speechless.

Laffy’s pretty good at sewing. She has drawn a few fashion design sketches which inspire her to have a fashion designing business when she grows up.

Laffy has a celebrity crush on Robert Pattinson, just in case things with Yakko don’t work out, 🤷🏻‍♀️😅 And yes, she’s also Team Edward (TBH, I was NEVER into the Twilight hype, thank god!)

Similar to a certain aggressive pink bow-wearing secret romantic, Laffy has a locket with Yakko’s picture inside that she keeps close to her at ALL times. Also, she likes to go somewhere private to express her love for Yakko in a dramatic soliloquy, just like said aggressive pink bow-wearing secret romantic.

Aside from switching her laugh range & doing impressions, Laffy’s brand of humor also includes the 3rd-class foil: being the third player of the cat & mouse chase, or the one that sabotages the competition. This comes in handy whenever Laffy sees that Yakko’s flirting with someone else!

Laffy’s a fan of retro music whether it’s the need to to dance to 30s swing music or the vibrant rock n roll era of the 50s! Another reason Yakko really should get to know her more. I feel like these two will bond over their shared love of musicals and start singing duets out of nowhere.
