OHHHH OHHHHHH my god. okay so i have a lot of thoughts abt this and i wanna draw some stuff related to it, so all of it is under the cut to not make a block of text

i just think willy targeting normal wouldve ALSO had some interesting reactions from lark and sparrow for the obvious reasons, and the haha of "normal would do anything for any bit of validation" is just too real bc he would, like he is a character thats so vulnerable, and caring, and who started the season out very comfortable in his own skin, and now ISNT, and if things had gone towards willy choosing normal it would just be. so easy to ask normal to do this stuff if given the incentive of making someone else happy and the validation when he accomplished it (and the. unkind stuff that would make him want to try harder next time bc he'd beat himself up over it) and if he still went to the church of the doodler and left with the little inkling that maybe willys wrong and is immediately and harshly shut down when he mentions it, i think normal would have a lottt of internal conflict with that. and i could see him breaking a single anchor with love and never doing it again bc of willys response, also pure betrayal for normal in the end when he realizes how willy actually is just. GAH! i have lots of thoughts

just watched an hour long video a8t homestuck and mannnnnn. it just affirms how much i wanna go 8ack to how i liked? what i made of?? homestuck when i first got into it, just with more critical thinking and going hm this part of homestuck that is 8ad and harmful. is 8ad And Harmful

ive tended to summarize it as 'i like homestuck itself (save for the actually 8ad parts) 8ut i h8 the fandom' 8ut honestly thats not entirely true, watching a homestuck animatic made, 8y, A Fan Of Homestuck, made me so nostalgic and emotional over the Concept of homestuck i had trou8le sl33ping that night, and i do still usually r8 multiple drawings of homestuck chars that i like Daily, right? :P it's just that, i like homestuck itself and i like SOME fan content of it, i just don't like the like... social environment??? of the fandom.
