Warning this is going to be a vent because I'm alone and don't have anyone to vent to.

I met a bitch walking a dog just now. This lady was walking her pitbull. She was coming towards me and I was coming towards her walking my dog. She indicated to me to go and cross the street or walk the other way. I ignore her at first because my dog was sniffing some grass.

Then we continue walking and she yells at me to cross the street. I tell her no she should cross the street. So she says she's going home, and that I am too. She said she doesn't want her dog to meet my dog and I said I don't want that either so she should cross the street.

I don't have anything against the dog. I know pitbulls can be problematic with other dogs but they can be handled, and I respect her for taking on a dog like that if she is capable of it. All dogs should have a loving home. But her dog is the problem. I can control my dog if she gets to feisty. I can pick her up and make sure she doesn't hurt another dog. If your dog is problematic for whatever reason you have to take the necessary precautions. A muzzle, walking them in areas that are away from other dogs, whatever is necessary. That includes crossing the street if another dog owner is coming.

I don't have to cross the street for you. I probably would to protect my dog but I wasn't going to let this bitch get away with telling me what to do when she was the one who needed to take action.

I will add, that there was a cross walk close to her where she could cross easily, and I waited and kept my dog away until she had gone. I wasn't going to cause a dangerous situation, and make things more difficult. Also right behind her was another dog and owner, so I don't know what she thought was gonna come of me moving.

Anyway, fuck you bitch.
