are you going to judge me if i cast off this shawl and immediately start another one by the same designer
#this shawl designer is so overwhelmingly popular ...... in the ravelry forums i read regularly...............#that im convinced that making these is just extruding Generic Knit Product Of No Interest#which. firstly. i actually do reserve my right to care if i am making extruded knit product but don't think it's a general virtue.#secondly i have to be in a total bonkers echo chamber for this right. no one outside these forums is like ''boo knits is so everpresent tha#anyone making them is displaying 'awareness of popular things' and not 'ability to make a specific and deliberate choice'''#not even anyone IN these forums thinks this really. only i could imagine a person thinking this#more to the point. is it cringe if i not only start a new shawl but i do it in a gradient-dyed yarn.#i just think it would look nice. but i think that shows a fundamental lack of discernment by me#box opener
