She started spinning poi in 2008 and branched out to hoops, double staves, levi-wand, and other props soon after. Her goal while combining dance theory with circus arts is to spread the empowerment movement arts can give as far as she can reach. This class is multilevel; everyone is welcome from beginners to advanced. We will start with how to isolate a hoop, and progress to advanced-level isolation tricks and jump-throughs.
