How to create it, manage it, maintain it, explain it, retain it, save it, grow it, correct it, and pass it on.

I took an oath to protect this country from all enemies foreign and domestic. It appears we have both and their hellbent on making sure we stay as poor, indebted, uneducated, unbanked, and uniformed about nearly every aspect of our lives.

So lets start this off with thoughts

So I haven’t had one of these in years, which could be looked at in various different lights depending on what aspect you focus on.

It’s been good I suppose because I stopped just posting things that expressed in some vague obscure way how I was feeling or how I thought I was feeling.

It took away some of that worry about how I was perceived by others. Seeing as that was at one point my undoing. Too much worry over those that in the end did not amount to much in my life. They just drifted but I would cling to them as if they were the lone branch over a river where the strong current was all but consuming me. 

It was never really something that meant I felt more apart of things, it just made me feel as though the distance at which I was putting myself from people, from actually feeling things for or about them was actually the normal way I should be feeling. But in retrospect it wasn’t. It was just an excuse to become and then remain hollow. To not feel or focus on anything and just let a dark shroud come over me and allow it consume me whole. 

Reintroducing myself to the online world and just the world in general feels odd. Like I know it is something I need to do at least to an extent but it is also still something I am somewhat afraid of. I do not wish for the old ways of life for me to consume me once again. But I know this time they will not. This time I am different.

This time I am me. This time I feel stronger. More in control.

This time I am more than just a lost soul searching for my nirvana in the darkness of an eclipse.

Fairy Tales

I believed in forever, the fairy tale of love. I knew about the ups and downs and experienced the array of emotions. I was the giver, the lover, the villain, the raving bitch at times, the seeker of forgiveness, staunch supporter...yet the fairy tale ends with emptiness. An emptiness so great that tonight it suffocates me. You asked for a farewell kiss, the way you draw me back every time and this time the hurt is so deep, I cannot come back. Life moves on. I want my worth in a relationship. I want you to have someone that loves your faults so unconditionally that unlike me, she does not try to construct the story to something it has never been and never will be. I will be jealous and maybe I do not want that either but you and I cannot paint the picture of decades of forgiving and unconditional love. Love is more...more than a fairy tale.
