WIP Summary Poll
Thanks for tagging me, @mrbexwrites! :D
Rules: Pick a bunch of your WIPs and summarize them as badly as possible, then ask your followers to vote on which one they'd be most likely to read. Multiple/all/none options are completely optional.
I did this for WIPs, so instead I'll do it for subplots within WIPs:
Tagging @oh-no-another-idea, @kidukami, @stesierra, and anyone else who wants to do this! :D

WIP Questionnaire Tag
Thanks for tagging me, @sleepyowlwrites! :D
I'll do this for Uneasy Money!
What's the first part of the WIP you created?: I already had an idea for a story about a stolen cheque and a separate idea about an unexpected inheritance, so I just combined the two and found I had a new WIP.
If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?: Five Variants of Dives and Lazarus by Ralph Vaughan Williams (though Vaughan Williams didn't actually write the main tune; it's a much older English folk song that he expanded on)
What are your favourite characters that you made and why?: Gilbert, because he's a mess (affectionate); Tarka, because she's a mess (derogatory); and Thomas, because he's a mess (derogatory).
What other pieces of media would your fanbase share?: Well, the main inspirations are Anthony Trollope's books and Downton Abbey, with a dash of P. G. Wodehouse. So I guess those media?
What has been your biggest struggle with your WIP?: Trying to sort out everyone's subplot and stop them being too similar to each other.
Are there animals in your story? Talk about them.: Yep! There are several dogs, at least one cat, and several horses.
How do your characters travel?: Mostly by train, horse, or on foot. Helena and Gilbert are the only characters who own cars, and Helena would sooner die than drive herself.
What part of your WIP are you working on right now?: The outline. I haven't got past the first ten chapters yet 😬
What aspects (tropes, maybe) do you think will draw your audience in?: Depends on what the audience likes. Family drama? Enough to keep a gossip magazine busy for a year! Character development? It takes a while but they'll get there! Enemies-to-lovers and slow burn? At this rate Gilbert and Thomas won't even hold hands until chapter 50! Cameos from characters in other WIPs? Hi there, Alec and Davit!
What are your hopes for your WIP?: Right now, just to finish the outline so I can start it. Ultimately, to edit and publish it.
Tagging @dyoniawrites, @lychhiker-writes, @finickyfelix, and anyone else who wants to do this! :D
