it's sooooo silly that i basically have to dress the same for working at target as i did when i worked in the synthetic chemistry lab and handled deadly chemicals daily. like what on the floor at target is going to require long UNRIPPED (🙄) pants and close toed shoes

#obv the unripped pants is for professionalism not safety in this case but even that. im like. it's fucking target.....#tbh this actually says more abt the inadequacy of the lab clothing compared to what i worked with on a regular basis #those jeans were not gonna do much for me if the fuming hydrofluoric acid got out of the hood #also: wow im glad im not working in a synth lab anymore!! that shit was scary!
