SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, haru was mad but like quite cold frosty mad, but the one who actually cut the other off is rin right, and dude regretted it like hell right, like like haru was saying "bro u always disapear on me" and rin EVER THE GENIUS ABT HIS FEELINGS actually SAID thx for the relay but this doesnt concern me anymore, like FAM, FAM STOP AND //////LISTEN TO WHAT UR SAYING////////// THIS IS THE DOMINO EFFECT THAT KICKSTARTED THE FREE SERIES, AND ITS GONNA START ALL OVER AGAIN SMHHH

Well, technically, it was Rin, yeah, but not for the reason you thought, if you read my previous post about the scene, you'd get that it's not that simple, the way Haru said what he said left basically no hope in Rin's opinion that he'd want to be with him. He did stop after turning away before leaving to say thanks for that relay. I think he was hoping to hear him say that it was mutual, which inside!Haru did with "I was happy with you too", but Rin can't hear the inside!Haru. Only then he bitterly dropped what he didn't mean and for what he called himself an idiot. So it's like... it depends on how you look at it, I can't quite tell who broke it off haha. But about Rin being a genius as usual it's true, bc it's how the fight started that killed me.. like thats on him.

As for the fact that no one could ever label them as to who they are for each other, it's yeah.. it's like this since forever, there's the drama when Rin goes "he and I... to me Haru..." and then it's just blank, same with his talk with Rei and even creators always say smth like.. when you have someone who brings so much passion and light into you life, you can't help but be drawn to them, and how no matter of the obstacles they will always find their way back to each other and etc but then it's like... is there a word for such a special person in your life? Like the new Zakki's last interview, that murdered me about how "Rin's the light of Haru's life and that just the possibility that he might leave him again just the thought of it evoked such rejection and fear in him, that it erupted inside of his heart with burning lava". Its like.. try and find a term for that lmao. This is also the same person, one dumb text from whom can make Haru laugh, while the rest of the world won't hear it like ever haha.

Each time they ask them this and this thing starts, I'm like... what do you want them to say even lmao. Something like this?

And remember how in 1x10 Haru "explained" his and Rin's relationship to Rei and Rei was just sitting there with Nagisa after that like "what was he even saying?" lol. It was like:

Rei was just "that was very nice of Haruka-senpai to tell such a story, but I still do not get the two". Haha

And true, Rin's only problem wass always the fact that he's not good enough or that he won't be able to swim with him and be his perfect rival, thats what upsets him, when he can't reach. He's never sad about Haru winning, he always only either how he said in Australia absolutely astonished at how amazing Haru is or turned on a bit when he beats him, you know xD:

so it is complicated. And the fact that he might just not be that special to Haru is also always killing him, I think he genuinely doesn't get what he means to him and that it's not about the fact whether he is or isn't gonna be the best. Like he doesn't know that Haru can win a race even just thinking about him and that it's not about you know... who's cooler faster and etc. Its about how he feels with him and how water feels for him when Rin's there, it's not even about the fact that they're on par or not. Haru never fucking cared tbh.

and at this point he just cares about the possibility of standing there with him, not being on top. And like gold in butterfly is good, but like for him its not the same as gold in free :(

Ooo how about shinran storylines! - Desperate revival (188-193) - Shinigami (521-523) - Holmes revelation/London (616-621) - Memories from sakura class (853-854) - Kyoto school trip (927-928)

Oh god, these just keep getting more and more difficult, huh? You people are so mean!!! Okay, here I go!

1. DESPERATE REVIVAL. Peak storytelling honestly. There’s a little bit of everything in this arc and it’s just as good no matter how many times you watch it. Conan being shot, Ran having to give some blood so they can operate on him (peak clichè poetic cinema I love it), Shinichi coming back to make sure she doesn’t find out about the secret, the back to routine, the date, the ANGST. Shinichi got a taste of his life and then it was snatched from his hands once more. That shit hurts. There’s great distance between number one and the rest of the ranking let me tell you. 

2. Kyoto School Trip. The case per sé wasn’t one of my favourites, but I enjoyed that we got to see everyone working together. The shinran scenes are what makes the arc. I will never forgive Gosho for not letting us see what happened before tho, did Shinichi appear out of nowhere, did he talk to Ran prior, what happened?? How did Ran react to the news? I’m big sad. But still, the ending makes everything worth it. So fucking good, I would give my money to see Ran drag him by his tie everyday. 

3. Memories from the Sakura Class. UGH. THIS WAS SUCH A CUTE FIRST MEETING. We finally got to see them meet for the first time and it was just as great as expected. The case was also interesting, probably because it involved Ran as well. Little Shinichi protecting Ran was the shit. I love that Ran admits to have hated him at first, his shocked face wass top notch. And, pretty random detail but,... I loved how the story started? Like, the fact that Conan (Shinichi) was so thoughtful as to take the girls on the way back from class by that path so they could see the beautiful scenery? Name a better boy. 

4. London Arc. AH YES, THE ONE WHERE SHINICHI CAUGHT EVERYONE OFF GUARD. Let me tell you I was NOT expecting what happened to happen. I think no one did, not even Shinichi, and it’s one of the things I like most here. Shinichi can be hotblooded and do unexpected things too, see? We love that. The case was not one of my favourites tho. 

5. Shiragami case. Dude, this was good. If only it had been animated more nicely I would’ve liked it more. I think that the case was one of the best on this list, just the personal vendetta of an entire village against Shinichi, and how shocking it was to see that everyone hated him. So out of nowhere. I loved that, I think that, even if in the end it was proven that it was not Shinichi’s fault, it was still a bit of a slice of humble pie for him. His quote about never forgetting how his face looks when he cries was good shit. And the shinran moments were pretty neat. Shinichi taking care of Ran’s wounds? Ran KNOWING that THAT was not her man and then trusting the Shiragami immediately? Shinichi taking off the wig and speaking with his throaty voice? Uh-huh. Sign me up!!!
