"Hey," he called, switching tracks completely as he turned and sidled up to Edward with a half hearted sort of smile. "Heath inviting me to come look into joining SAE a couple weeks ago, but I really don't think this is my scene," he said with a put upon sigh.

Though almost immediately the polite small talk was pushed to the side and he gave his cousin a more serious look. "Did you know about this at all?" He asked, "I mean… about Greer? Did your parents let you know?" They had to have known right? And called and told their son, 'oh hey your sister's case? It's done.' Right? And then after a beat of silence couldn't help but add, "is that really it?"

so if i were to pick a superpower for pat, it'd probably be the ability to control fire. just going off her personality and vibe, i really think that would fit her. it's not what pat would choose, though. she'd be torn between super strength ( pat feels as if brute strength is one of the few things she truly lacks, and she would love to be able to easily defend herself or to beat the shit out of someone with no effort ) or mind control. ultimately i think she'd go for mind control, because it would just be extremely useful for her. she's already quite persuasive, so that would just take it to the max.

020. What are their hobbies?

i've referenced this in a few recent threads, but pat loves to sing and play guitar and piano. when she was a little kid she wanted to be a singer. she's quite good, and also not shy at all. similarly to these music hobbies, she loves to dance. her favorite is salsa, but she can improvise others.

in a general sense, i'd say competition is pat's hobby. she loves mentally challenging games such as poker, blackjack or chess. playing some sports too. most of the time it's not really about the game itself, she just likes competing and winning.

the ways pat displays attention in romance vs platonic relationships are very different. i could honestly write a whole post just about this. but generally, she's more physically affectionate with people she has a romantic or sexual interest in. which doesn't mean she won't ever give a friend an affectionate touch, it's just not frequent. platonic ways to show affection include making excuses to spend time with someone, and giving them gifts. her gifts show a lot about how observant she is, so showing that she's paid attention to details of things you told her and to your interests is definitely a silent sign of her affection too.
