If it had been Silvy helping someone else out with their broken shower, she would've had the presence of mind to check the main water valve before doing anything else. But she wasn't and she had let her panic overwhelm her in the moment. Fortunately Clint was still thinking clearly and rushed out to take care of the main valve.
When he came back, Clint closely examined the pipes that ran in parallel with the ceiling. Clint had at least a foot on Silvy in terms of height so he was able to see where the problem was. Silvy would've needed a step ladder to have found the same issue.
She blinked at him a couple of times at his offer for her to use his shower while he worked on fixing hers. "You sure about that?" She asked. "Thank you Clint, I owe you big time. I'll try my best not to break your shower too, OK?" That last bit was supposed to be a joke and so Silvy uttered a nervous sounding laugh to go along with it.
The blond followed close behind her, Luna right at his heels and stepped into her cabin which was much more well kept than his own. Entering her bathroom he could clearly see from the consistent ripples in the water that the master valve was still on, just what he was worried about. "Shit. Hold on one sec, Silv." He told her before briskly walking out of the house which turned into a jog as he made his way around to the back, eyes darting near her water tank for the valve to stop the water flow. A green lever on a pipe going into the outside wall of her cabin caught his attention and he quickly turned it to tighten it, cutting all the water to the cabin off. He would have to show her where that was in case something like this happened again. The pipes in these cabins were old and not the best quality. Whoever lived here before probably used the buildings as get away spots, camping spaces, rather than places they lived in full time, it wasn't a surprise things were giving out.
Now that the water was turned off he went back in to assess the damage. "Shut off all th'water so there's no more leakin'. But there won't be any water throughout the cabin" He reported, glancing to her before he looked to the shower head, following the line until he saw the residua water dripping from a section of pipe close to the ceiling. He stepped up to it and reached to feel where the break was, to find the sharp edges of the metal where the pipe split open facing towards the wall. "There it is." He looked down and gave her a little smile. "Should be easy enough t' replace, sure there's lots of pipes in the junkyard I could find." It dawned on him that she probably wanted to finish up her shower, but it would take at least a couple hours for him to find a new pipe and install it. "If y'want, y'can take a shower at my place, take th'edge off while I get this fixed."

Silvy gave her neighbour a relieved looking smile when he agreed to take a look at her broken shower. The thought of "in a world full of Areses, be like Clint" occurred to her but she didn't say it out loud. Clint didn't know about Silvy's connection with Ares and she wasn't in the mood to explain it. Besides, there was the more important matter of her broken shower to concentrate on.
She led the way back over to her place, Clint and Luna following close behind her. When they got there, she let them in and headed for the bathroom. She did have the presence of mind to shut the shower off before she left for Clint's but there was still a significant amount of water leaking from somewhere it shouldn't be leaking from. "I really appreciate you coming over," she told him as she stood to one side and out of his way so he could get a better look at the shower.
Burst shower pipes? That explained why her hair was damp and she looked so frazzled. "Yeah, no worries, no need t'apologize." He brushed off her apology with a smile and glanced to her house next door. "Let's check it out first, see what we're dealin' with, then I'll get m'tools." Part of him worried that the water was still running, not thatt she didn't turn off the shower but that the pipes behind the walls were still flooding and the master line needed to be turned off, if it was he would want to get that to stop first, then figure out where the bust in the pipe was. "C'mon Luna." He prompted and started to follow Silvy over to her place, Luna following close behind his heels.

It felt as if nothing was going right for Silvy in the last few days. All she had wanted from life was some peace. She had thought she had earned that and was enjoying the peace she had found in Redwood as much as she could. And then Ares showed up and Silvy's peace vanished. She thought she might be able to claw some of it back by going to the Council about Ares's past but that didn't help as much as she had wanted. She tried hiding away from everyone but her responsibilities caused her to feel guilty for doing that. She tried resuming her old routine and it was starting to help but after her latest work shift, when she went to take a shower like she normally would, her plumbing decided to go nuts. She let out a scream of frustration before pulling her clothes back on and racing out of her house.

She went over to Clint's, her neighbour's, and hammered on the door. From her side of the door, she heard Luna, Clint's dog, bark. Only a couple of moments later and Clint opened the door. Silvy offered him an apologetic smile. "I'm really sorry, Clint," she said. She motioned back to her place. "I think my shower's pipes have burst or something. Can you help?"

"Hold yer horses dammit." Clint argued as Luna protested with a groan and a sneeze, pacing around impatiently. He refocused his efforts to the skillet, mixing in some of the veggies with the cooked rabbit meat. It wasn't complicated and Clint was by no means an actually good cook, but luckily neither him nor Luna were very picky and there was really no going wrong with meat and veg. With everything complete he made a little plate for Luna and one for himself, adding an extra little salt to his own before he placed Luna's on the floor which she promptly scarfed down "Yer welcome." He stated before he sat down at his little rickety table about to tuck in himself when a knocking sound he could barely hear caught his attention, Luna barked to confirm what he thought he heard. Before he got up he managed to get a bite in as he stood and wandered towards the door, opening it up to see his neighbor standing on the other side. Now that he thought of it, the two of them never said anything more than a passing hello. Even though they lived right next door to each other their schedules never seemed to line up in any meaningful way resulting in them always missing each other, so this visit definitely wasn't expected. "Ah, hey Silvy, y'alright?"
