This month my Tumblr turned one year old! Thank you Thunderfam for such a lovely welcome (seriously the best fandom!). It's been FAB getting to know you all. My notepad has never been fuller of WIPs that are in serious need of editing...and I love it!

Still my largest piece of art to date - Thunderbirds wall mural!

Admittedly, this is an unspectacular image of Virgil Tracy just sitting around... but I had fun drawing it and playing around. Perspective is a little off... but oh well. I don't care too much to be honest. 

You might have expected something more exciting when I teased the sketch thing... But I just wanted something cozy - Virgil between missions relaxing on the sofa and playing on his phone (though I am not even sure they have mobile phones anymore ... it was easier to draw than a holo communicator thingy ... 🤷‍♀️ I just take the liberty for my small fanart). 

The potted plants are once again a CSP asset - asset makers make artists's lives so much easier sometimes. Bless them!

Thunderbird Two to match Four! 

Watercolours again! It’s done, not perfect, but finished. I’m not as happy with this as I am with Four, everything in the process was going wrong and I feel like I’ve fucked up in at least twenty different places. But I didn't completely succumb to artistic despair and give up along the way, so hey, character development for me! I am proud of the general sketch shape tho, I think I did better at the proportions and not making it wonky!

Thank you to everyone who was lovely and supportive about my last bit of art, because that is a fair amount of why this exists and is up here!

Thunderbird 2's pods were a cool feature. Why can't other planes in fiction have a feature like that?

Found these guys in an antique shop yesterday

Virgil is from 1999, and Scarlet is from 2001, so not exactly antique lmao, but a super fun find!

It'd be nice to get all of them they made but that's probably pretty unlikely lmao.

The boys are DUSTY. I don't think they've been moved more than once since they were bought!

Homeward Bound. Well, it’s taken me six years, but at last I’ve finally managed to create another Thunderbird 2 image after so many failed attempts. So here it is, collecting thunderbird 4 and setting off for home after another successful rescue mission. Enjoy!

I can finally share my TAG Mini Bang illustration of Virgil. It goes with a small ficlet by @louthestarspeaker - it's just a small scene, but when I read it, it instantly gave me the idea for this picture. So I just had to illustrate it.

And I hope I did Virgil and the small fic justice.

Squidmas Gingerbread Biscuits!!!

So I was making gingerbread today with a friend as is our tradition each year. Me of course being just a tiny bit thunderbirds obsessed I had a go at making some Thunderbirds!!!

We’ve got 1, 2 and 4 here! And a bonus little star. The others didn’t quite make it as the dough was pretty much melting in the Aussie heat despite being repeated stuck back in the freezer! I’m really happy with these though! I haven’t eaten them yet, too busy gazing upon them! But the other biscuits taste really good! (My secret is putting cardamom in with the spices because it is The Best Spice). There are ridiculous amounts as we rather over calculated and I’ve still got more dough in the freezer leftover. Enough to feed every Tracy and the whole thunderfam, oops!

I freehanded them with a knife and a pic up on my phone (which miiight have ended up a wee bit sticky) as I very sadly don’t have any thunderbirds cookie cutters (oh but I want some, may even have a go at making them!)
