How is it I’ve now seen *three* Wes Craven horror films that all have a gay subplot struggling to break free?
#wes craven probably ‘i need a dark haired weirdo and a dishwater blonde/light brunette weirdo’#btw kevin williamson only wrote two of these afaik so it ain’t all on him tho we thank him for his service#and does not escape me that all these relationships have at least one certified monster/killer and the other loving or joining them anyway#scream#cursed#my soul to take#wes craven#horror film#cursed could’ve had it all and been the gay werewolf horror comedy of my dreams#but i still love it anyway#my soul to take was totally wild with the gay subtext#thwarted gay love story really would’ve been a cherry topper esp in regards to repression#as well as the added hilarity of the Jesus freak girl crushing on the outsider who seems sweet but is actually gay
