They were ready ... prepared. Overly so, actually, if the efforts of both Alpha and Witch had anything to say about it. Wards surrounded the land the central home of the pack rested on, and wolves scouted the area often to ensure nothing had changed. They had all woke that morning, however, to the feeling that it was the day... and just as their instincts said, Jeremiah got the phone call.

Ezra's old alpha was coming ... and he'd get what was his or there'd be consequences to the decision.

Standing in the entry way now with his wife, Jeremiah looked straight ahead, the anger he felt filtering through the pack bonds ... though the only evidence of it in his expression was the smallest of veins popping up on his forehead. Several moments pass before Jeremiah looked down to Pasha, golden flecks in his eyes showing how close his wolf was to the surface.

"Last chance.." to bail ... but Jeremiah wasn't holding his breath for her to take the offer.
