Okay the backdrop of my tfasona Junia is she's a human woman from the southern usa who moved to Detroit during the techno renaissance (and to have some semblance of normalcy after getting fed up with her family). She gets a low level job working at Sumdac and on weekends she hangs out with Imani (an old lady who helms a junkyard). There she finds a piece of the allspark and gets her powers.

After a sudden increase of supervillains, the lower neighborhoods bear the brunt o it so my sona decides to do something about it. It's messy at first with a crappy costume bought of Shein, but my sona manages to stop some regular burglaries. And gets free food from tbe local bodega. But it's not enough especially when superpowered criminals appear more frequently. It doesn't help that at her job Henry Masterson is constantly shirking his responsibilities on her and everyone else in her department (and asking her out despite repeated rejections). By the time the series begins proper, she's burned out and angry.

During the premiere she finds out about Sari and feels pity because it's obvious the girl hasn't interacted with a lot of people. So she tries to get her out of her shell. When those mutant bugs attack my sona foes off to change, by the tine she arrives she is met with the site of giant robots fighting them. She gets a couple of hits in but grows curious about the robots. She finds out they are not Sumdac creations but from outer space: the Autobots.

I kinda changed her character a bit as while she has her occasional stubbornness she still is compassionate and empathetic. She also gets tempted of a life of luxury IF she becomes Henry's mistress, but she rejects him because she refuses to be with such a selfish asshole. Her time spent with Sari and the Autobots helps her gain a wider perspective. She regains her childlike sense of wonder she thought she had to throw away in order to be more adult when that's just an immature way of thinking in of itself.

Then my other tfasona Michel, she's more icy and cynical. But she secretly helps my OCs because she knows about their double lives and she's not a stitch. She stays at Sumdac after Junia quits, to keep an eye on Henry and Powell. And when Isaac returns to the company she's promoted to becoming his new work partner.

Miss Gish gives a delicate and charming portrayal of Romola – more saint than human. William H. Powell as Tito, acts a smooth and crafty villain to this department’s taste. Dorothy Gish, as a simple country maid, also betrayed by the dexterous Tito, gives one of her funny, pathetic, adorable characterizations. Ronald Colman suits well the role of the noble and picturesque artist, Carlo, who truly loves Romola and whose devotion, you are led to believe is rewarded in the end.

Taxidermy time

So there’s the Powell-Cotton Museum that’s like only a couple of rooms of stuff but it’s basically ‘Rich British dude explorer type hunted stuff, brought it back decided he wanted to educate people so he made a museum’ there’s also a whole bunch of ethnographic stuff that was collected by him and then also his daughters. (Seriously there’s so many spears on the wall in one of the rooms)

(There’s also a piece that’s like a lion vs a buffalo but I have no photos of it, there’s also a piece that has an Ibex (I think?) falling off a cliff)

Also a random taxidermy eagle I spotted in a tourist trappy type giftshop in Inverness (That shop was kinda cool though as I brought a ceremonial dirk that looks cool even if the handle and sheath are plastic and my friend managed to buy one with an antler handle, like with the tines and stuff)

[Anne’s period] found my cousin coming as I got out of bed – nobody announcing breakfast, sat reading Goldsmith’s England – breakfast at 10 in an hour – out at 12 – did 3 or 4 shoppings and then walked to the 3 mile stone on the London road (and 7 minutes there and back beyond it) and back and at Powell’s (at the book sale), at 2 20/’’ some minutes before the sale had begun – did not mean to buy anything unless Brewers’ beauties of Ireland were to be had or Fielding’s works, but which I got, as well as Inchbald’s British theatre 25 volumes and several other things Smith’s view in Italy and Boydell’s Shakspear 9 volumes morocco folio at 19 guineas exclusive of auctioneer duty –

ABERNATHY GETS 20-DAY JAIL TERM; CAPITAL CALMER

The Rev. Ralph David Abernathy received a 20-day jail sentence and a lecture today for leading a nonviolent protest by the Poor People’s Campaign to the Capitol yesterday. It was the Negro leader’s 20th jail term for protest activity.

Mr. Abernathy, 42 years old, the president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the leader of the Poor People’s Campaign, entered a plea of no contest to a charge of participating in an unlawful assembly at the foot of Capitol Hill.

Other Cases Processed Meanwhile, hundreds of his arrested followers and the physical symbol of their antipoverty crusade, the plywood hut community of Resurrection City, began to disappear from public view as the courts disposed of cases and Government work crews rapidly dismantled the vacant camp town.

The District1 of Columbia government—gratified by the peace-keeping results of, and the generally favorable reaction to, its disturbance-control tactics declared the capital secure enough following last night’s disorders to lift special police precautions and the curfew imposed by Mayor Walter E. Washington.

The 1,400 National Guardsmen still on duty were put on standby status in their armory U.S. Troops to Pull Out The Defense Department said that 1,600 Regular Army troops, moved to strategic positions in and around the city last night but never deployed in the streets, “probably” would be returned to their bases before morning.

Leaders of the Poor People's Campaign, who sought to quell the stone throwing and window smashing that spread through scattered sections of the Negro slum area last night, said today they were pleased that a nonviolent climate was being restored. Continued vandalism, they, said, could destroy what is planned to be “a new phase” of the campaign within Washington’s sprawling Negro community.

The long-awaited mule train of the Poor People’s campaign,: which left Marks, Miss., on May 13, finally entered the capital today after a week of grazing on Government park land in nearby Virginia.

But the 11-wagon caravan, a colorful symbol of rural poverty, attracted little attention. Willie Bolden, the mule train leader, said he had decided to avoid a planned confrontation with the police that would bring more arrests. The mule train followed a rambling 25-mile route that carried it past Government buildings, including the Capitol, and through slum areas. It then returned to Virginia.

A planned demonstration at the Capitol by a group of 300 clergymen, announced yesterday by the Rev. Andrew Young, executive vice president of the leadership conference, failed to materialize today. Mr. Young said yesterday that the demonstrators, largely whites, were to come here from the Philadelphia area today.

Mr. Abernathy spent 70 minutes yesterday negotiating with James M. Powell, the chief of the Capitol police, to insure his arrest for what he said would be a “symbolic” violation of the special laws against demonstrations at the Capitol. But the charge finally, filed against him today was under an ordinary municipal disorderly conduct statute. The charge is a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of a $250 Tine and 90 days in jail.

Judge Chides Him “I stand before you today having done what I felt was my duty and I know you must do your duty," Mr. Abernathy told Chief Judge Harold H. Greene of the District of Columbia Court of General Sessions. In imposing the 20-day sentence, Judge Greene chided the campaign leader for claiming allegiance to “a higher law” in committing his calculated act of civil disobedience at the Capitol.

“I happen to know that responsible Government officials, including Robert F. Kennedy, who was then Attorney General, many times spoke to Southern officials and citizens and informed them again and again that the mere fact that they believed their principles [of segregation] were right did not mean they did not have to comply with the law,” the judge told Mr. Abernathy.

Judge Greene admonished Mr. Abernathy by saying that breaking laws for moral principles might be defensible in a dictatorship where the people have no voice in lawmaking. But in the United States, the judge said, the executive and legislative branches of the Government are elected and the courts “zealously protect the rights of people.”

Accordingly, he said, “when the line between lawful and unlawful demonstrations is crossed, the courts have a responsibility to impose punishment, and that is what I must do in this case.”

Five judges began processing the 261 Capitol Hill cases and those of 124 other members of the Poor People’s Campaign who were arrested yesterday during the police eviction of residents of Resurrection City after; expiration of the settlement's permit.

All but a handful of the defendants pleaded no contest and were immediately sentenced to the 96-year-old D.C. Jail. From his jail cell Mr. Abernathy, in a letter distributed by the leadership conference, called on the nation’s clergymen to demonstrate in Washington tomorrow.

“I am in jail with the poor and today I ask you the clergy to join us. The time for stating our case in words is past; we have done that and have been rebuked by the authorities,” the letter said.

Appeal Ruled Out Mr. Abernathy had said yesterday that he would serve any jail term imposed on him. A no-contest plea rules out an appeal. Sentences of 10 to 15 days were imposed on most of the more than 200, arrested campaigners processed through the court, today. In at least two cases, which court officials could not immediately identify as stemming from the Capitol Hill or Resurrection City arrests, the sentences were for as long as 45 days.

Hosea Williams, a top official of the leadership conference who was arrested at Resurrection City, and the Rev. John P. Adams, a white minister representing the National Council of Churches when he was arrested at the Capitol, pleaded not guilty and requested jury trials in order to “test the law,” their attorneys said.

Court Building Crowded The General Sessions Court building was crowded today as those involved in the Capitol Hill and Resurrection City cases mingled with attorneys and friends of the nearly 300 persons arrested during the disorders last night in the midtown Negro thoroughfare of 14th Street N. W.

Members of Congress generally praised the police decision last night to use unusually heavy barrages of tear gas to clear unruly crowds from the streets. Property damage from vandalism was assessed by city officials today as “slight.”

By contrast, the razing of Resurrection City, which began at mid-morning yesterday, was virtually total by tonight. More than 400 Government workmen, using sledgehammers and crowbars, had dismantled all of the 540 A-frame huts by nightfall. Convoys of Government trucks, stacked high with the 4-by-8-foot waterproof plywood sheets, and piles of 2-by-4’s [that took weeks to erect, transferred the dismantled lumber to a storage area at nearby Fort Belvoir, Va., to be claimed later by the leadership conference.

The removal of the A-frame tops left the ground cluttered with plywood flooring, broken Army cots, mounds of blankets and discarded clothing, and muddy toys.
