tfw your boss asks to take your old tinytablet with her on a conference (for science!!! she’s going to play cell movies. hmm. at least i think so).
BUT THERE”S *P*O*R*N* THERE! and i’m not keen on her seeing my (small but well chosen) collection
but it’s behind AppLock?
but i forgot the fucking password!
oh there it is, lets just kill the files altogether er no, lets transfer them to my now-tablet, BIGGER AND BETTER.
ok i unlocked them, NOW THEY”RE ALL OVER THE PLACE, IN AT LEAST THREE LOCATIONS AND I DON”T REMEMBER WHERE!!!!
phew. done.
okay now i have to lock them on my big tablet b/c BFFS’ kids
okay did it, but where had i put them? in a new folder “*p*o*r*n*”, obvs, so while the files are gone, the empty folder remains. do i delete it? but would it affect the files??? do i leave it be? i mean the kids are (almost) 17 and 14, a little knowledge that i’m human too, can’t hurt them at this age, surely? what’s an empty folder anyway.
oh shit. maybe i should have just let the files sit where they were, i’m not sure the boss would have gone rummaging around the tablet. but better safe then sorry, i guess. i left her a webinar on restorative yoga, she can use that if she comes across it.
requires too many props though. oh well. not my problem.
ETA: SHE IS NOT TAKING IT, AFTER ALL *HEADDESK*

Last week we were doing some top up training with one of the wonderful hospitals we work with in Bristol. We asked the matron what the biggest challenge is with her patients. She said dehydration amongst the elderly patients, particularly those with yy However, she also has a solution… She uses our Tiny Tablets to engage her patients, all while passing them drinks. She’s noticed a marked improvement in fluid consumption while her patients are engaged in activities. This is also the hospital which uses the Tiny Tablets the play Mozart and creating a sensory experience before any injections, reducing a patients heart beat and anxiety. We always say, a Tiny Tablet is best used with a great imagination, and here is a wonderful example. Great work ladies!! 🥰🥰🥰 #dementiacare #activitycoordinator #alzheimerscare #carehomes #activitiesforseniors #personcentredcare #nursinghomecare #nursinghome #tinytablet #seniorcare #elderlycare #touchscreentables #activitytables www.inspired-inspirations.com https://www.instagram.com/p/ChEwRngs6qo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

soooo...... *after* i bought an awesome clip-on mic, it turned out that my bloody phone is the best device for voice recording (oh yeah and after two months of battling it out with my tinytablet of the previous post and the old clip-on mic). the only problem is that, whereas the volume is superb (even a bit too loud i’d say), it would benefit from a pop filter. i haaaaaave one
(just so you know what i’m talking about), but how on earth would i put it between the phone and myself?
the filter itself feels like two layers of 50 den tights fabric, so i’m thinking putting the phone into a sock should work just as well maybe? oh and i have 50 den tights as well, no problem, just more hassle. unless the phone moves around and that is recorded as well? arrrrgh i hate steep learning curves.
on the positive side, my vision impaired dad looks SO HAPPY when i give him another cassette to listen to, i probably haven’t seen him that happy for a couple years (well since the vision started going down and he couldn't read books anymore, i’d say).
started the second book tomorrow. yay me, actually.
