For your word prompt- Blanket
thank you! this is basically post-coital cuddling tbh
Tony thinks he's lovely, all tired and sweet, curled under the blankets with him. They probably should take a shower, he thinks, sweaty and stinking of sex. But it's so soft and warm down here, there's safety in this cacoon where only Peter and Tony are allowed to be. It's almost a funny contrast, the way Peter holds onto his arm as if he wasn't trying to make Tony feel him for the next week. It's a beuatiful thing, he can't get enough of it. So Tony snuggles closer, letting Peter's presence make him feel loved, cherished. Safe and sound.

Endless WIPs tag game:
Share the first paragraph of every one of your unposted WIPs, and then tag that many people. (=3) (...I am already regretting this hahaha...) -- She wasn’t sure if it was because she spent a good month on her own before finding Dogmeat, learning to keep a keen ear out for trouble when there was nobody to watch her back, or if she was just naturally aware of her surroundings, but Addisson often heard things she didn’t think were meant for her ears. Or if they were then the speakers were passive-aggressive assholes who deserve their fates. (Fallout 3) -- Being young could be hard. People always expected you to know what you wanted to do with your life, often before you'd had enough experience to really figure it out. It hadn't been that hard for Eddie though, not really. He'd always been kind of a people person, so when it came time to take an elective that wasn't a sport, he joined the school newspaper and then had just kind of run with it. He was pretty good at it, and he liked being involved with current events, getting up in everyone's business-- with a cause, of course. It wasn't even that that was his dream career or anything; he hadn't wanted to be a journalist when he was a kid (if he could remember correctly, he'd first wanted to be a firefighter, and then an astronaut) but it was definitely good enough, so he stuck with it, and college found him pursuing journalism professionally. Then the asteroid struck. (Venom) -- His ears were ringing, all other sound muffled against that shrill pitch. Everything hurt; his eyes hurt when he pried them open, so he closed them again. He coughed, throat and lungs scratchy with dust and smoke, and the sound blocked out all the other noises for a moment. When they began to fade back in, all he could identify was chaos: screaming, yelling, and the sound of fire crackling. He was laying down, collapsed against something solid and irregular in shape, and what wasn’t in pain was numb. Dizziness washed over him and through what little thought he could manage, and he fell back into the emptiness from which he came. (FF12) -- Despite his relative familiarity with the place (and it was relative indeed; he’d spent a total of a few weeks there, but it might have been an eternity compared to most citizens hardly even knowing it existed), Steiner hated the Outer Continent. It was just so foreign. And not foreign like Treno, with its pretzelling paths and lack of visible leadership. It was more foreign than Cleyra, and that had seemed like something out of a dream even though it had been, relatively, quite near to his own home. They hadn’t had to cross any oceans to get to it, at least. Nor any damned Gargant tunnels. (FF9) -- Ignis was seven when he shattered the previous top score for the advanced-placement test. He couldn't help thinking the adults were all making a big deal out of nothing, because it wasn't that hard of a test, but he understood that it meant they'd decided he was some level of genius, and he was fully aware that they were going to take advantage of it. (FF15) -- Gecko Moria had more than lost count of the number of shadows he’d stolen from the hapless victims of his travels. To be fair, he’d never really kept count in the first place, not past the first few thrilling occasions. But something he could not count, given that the number until now had been a whopping and not-unexpected zero, was how many people had willingly offered their shadows to him. No person in quite their right mind would just give him that sort of power, especially knowing that it put them in a life-threatening position. (One Piece) -- It wasn't that Noctis hated his country-- Leide did have its charms-- but when compared to beautiful places like Altissia, Tenebrae, and Cleigne, he couldn't help but think it kind of sucked. Even Duscae had more natural wonder, despite its inclement weather. Poor Leide failed dramatically as a tourist destination. The one saving grace it had was Galdin Quay. (FF15) -- For as long as he could remember, there was a longing in his heart, though he couldn't quite place it. Freedom seemed the obvious answer; peace; but the wispy fragments of feeling he still retained from his childhood said otherwise. Even before the red soldiers first laid hands on him, before he suffered their torture, before he began to wish every day for death (his or theirs, he didn't care), he still remembered feeling like he was waiting for something. He almost killed his only chance of finding it. (Jak and Daxter) -- He remembered his childhood with as much clarity as anyone could expect; maybe more, given that it was all he had. Still, it had been a long time since he’d seen his mother’s face, and he hoped he would recognize her. He hoped she would recognize him. (bnha) -- It wasn’t terribly surprising that Sam didn’t immediately take a shining to Victor Sullivan when they first met. Fresh out of jail again and expecting to meet Nathan right outside, he couldn’t help being suspicious when he found there was this old man tagging along after his baby brother. Who was this creepy asshole, following after a fifteen year old kid like they were friends or something? (Uncharted) -- Three days out and he hated the wasteland. Or really maybe it was the vault he hated, for keeping them locked up for 200 years and then spitting him out here to fend for himself. (bnha/Fallout) -- The engagement process was going to be a long one. (FF15) -- "Why do you hate me?" (DBH) -- Androids were amazing things. Virtually indistinguishable from humans, but just a little faster, smarter, stronger. They were designed, not just allowed to happen like their haphazard live-born counterparts, so they were resistant to disease and never carried genetic disorders. Supposedly they had computers in their heads instead of brains, but you’d never know it by looking at one, or even talking to them. (DBH) -- All Might has always been older than Toshinori. All Might was born a full-fledged adult, pulling people out of a deadly wreckage, smiling amidst the chaos like someone they could rely on and look up to. All Might had never been a child; he was born a guardian. (bnha) (Okay technically these are just the ones from the past year, but I sure as heck wasn’t gonna go all the way back.) And tagging...: @braincoins @tequilatrashbin @milarca @galacticseas @blackat-t7t @thewordscomealive @aislinceivun @tinywolf309 @demyrie @aeris-the-procrastinator @allmightsfirmbuttcheeks @darthclaire @pleutresse @imyou-youareme @glittercracker @oldseablues Oh god I regret that, haha.
