Edit in response to a question: for how the Jiang's react, they're taken aback but realize they don't care-Ray and Maya however, did expect something special about Lloyd after seeing a glimpse of a mysterious warrior lady leaving baby Lloyd. Lloyd is their son/sibling no matter what.

thinking about how The Lego Ninjago Movie gave us the high school setting and vigilante set up and did NOTHING with it

i know tlnm is non canon but i wanna talk about how they actually give the best explanation for lloyds element, that we actually never really got told straight up throughout .. all of the series? actually?

like in the show we know the green ninja is ultimately the most powerful, the teams leader, the one that brings all elements together, yadda yadda.. but we don’t actually know why it’s . green. like. why are we the green ninja? why are we green? what is this mountain dew power exploding out ur palms?

but the movie hits the nail on the head.

the ending scene really sums it up. and it’s such a beautiful scene. i’ve actually memorised his monologue,,ahem,, allow me

“green is the colour of life. it flows through all living things, connecting them all. just like I..connect the ninjas.”

it’s so ..to the point? it’s so simple. but that is his element. life. vitality. growth. he allows all of the other elements to flow, and live and thrive by connecting his team together. and this is apparent in the shows canon, especially as lloyd grows older. it’s such a random one off line from the movie but it means so so much to me.. such a defining moment for lloyd as a character i fear.

I drew Show!Nya for my Nutcracker AU!

She’s filling the role of Marie, a doll gifted to Clara. However, in this version, said doll is the cursed form of the Nutcracker Prince’s sister, who tried to lead a rebellion after her brother’s curse and banishment. This led to her being cursed into the form of a porcelain doll, a fragile form that prevents her from fighting to her full capacity.

Movie AU where Lloyd is raised by Wu instead of Koko.

Lloyd is given to Wu to raise to keep him safe from Garmadon and trouble regarding Koko's past as Lady Iron Dragon. Takes place after Koko escapes on the boat to ninjago city. He looks up to his uncle.

He and Wu often go on travels outside the city. He isn't hated because no one knows that Lloyd is Garmadon's son...and neither does Lloyd until an unfortunate run in with him.

Unsurprisingly he's ALOT more confident than movie canon because people like him. The Ninja are good friends with Lloyd like the movie, seeing him as their Sensei's fun nephew that hangs around.

(Garmadon after finding out Lloyd's his son: Pfft. I can totally out-dad Wu.)

Hello! Back here with a new post, which is some OC content. I’ve only posted her on Insta, but this is Rayna Sol and she’s my Ninjago OC :))

Technically, this is her in TLNM, which to me is just like Ninjago (and what im rewriting of it) but high school AU. I’m still trying to figure out how like a lot of the lore would work in my rewrite of TLNM so this is most def a wip. So ig I’ll just talk a bit about her :))

-She’s the EM of Summer, which doesnt mean a lot in the beginning it just means she wears yellow.

-She’s def on the school’s wrestling team. I’m tryna figure out what other sports she would play during other seasons (if u guys have any ideas for sports lemme know)

-In like “Ninjago canon” ig she was very sucky as a teenager, using threats and bribes in order to win her wrestling matches. In this AU, that translates into her starting off as like a stereotypical mean girl, and she def has an attitude so like it can come off that way, but she basically spends her morning trying to save the city she’s tired give her a break let her rest :((

-She mainly hangs out w the rest of her team(my other OCs, Mae, Cedar, and Wren)-they know her identity and like of her double life and vice versa.

-Of the Secret Ninja Force, she’s only really friends with the Earth Ninja-they hang out a lot during missions, but obv they don’t know that they’re Cole and Rayna, so they don’t hang out during school. They’d prob be good friends they just run in different circles :/

-Still trying to figure out how to incorporate Morro into this AU but she’s besties w him too.
