What if.

What if I said I am the world's most biggest Magical Realm of Horse Man fan and that I have like 100 (no exaggeration) drawings/sketches of the characters and that I made up so much lore and that I love them all so so so much and that they are my favorite things ever? What if... (No but actually I love these guys so much don't be surprised if it takes up like 80% of this blog)

Anyways here's some doodles of each character. Orb is bored. Horse Man actually said that probably. The pizza slice and nacho bowl are gay (I'm coining the ship name rn it's PizzaNachos)

Angela!!

I love her so much I want her to be happy forever........

I think Angela has a secret gf and that's probably who she's talking to in the fence picture. Also I shade every TMRoHM character with a unique color, and Angela gets yellow! I felt like it was fitting as yellow is a very common yet vibrant color in nature, and Angela is very, very connected with nature! (Especially considering she was, CANONICALLY, supposed to turn into a tree). In my lore the change isn't exactly permanent. Lore below :3

Also old signature is on these, it's on a lot of stuff. Please don't mind it :/

In the beginning of her time in the Magical Realm, Angela rather quickly turns to gardening as a hobby that is very special to her. One day, she found a tree's sapling dropped in the desert, presumably dropped by someone carrying several. Angela took the sapling and planted it at a forest's edge, where she raised it like a child. The tree grew enough to bear fruit, even though it was small, after just a couple years. The tree was very important to Angela. It was her child, her art...

Unfortunately, Horse Man, careless as he is, took the tree's fruit as snacks for some party. (He wasn't entirely aware of the tree's importance until afterward, but still.) Angela was devastated. Her tree was barren. And in her grief, she literally became a tree herself, growing tall over rocks and land, carrying the dying sapling as a piece of her.

She also sprouted flowers that grew into tiny, mobile Angelas. The Angela Flowers were numerous and typically short lived (The longest living only getting to around 6 months old). They represented tiny aspects of Angela, such as a single emotion or a specific personality trait. The flowers were peaceful, and Angela could see through them at times.

The area she grows in is kind of a ways off from civilization. A few people still visit her though. Her gf who I have yet to make, Dennis (they are friends :D ), and Horse Man sometimes (he becomes increasingly nervous around her after the transformation). Despite this, though, she's alone more often than not, sitting in a secret room within the soul of the tree. Her branches can move like arms, but she almost never moves besides to make her face.

(Side note, the story of Angela having an important tree and its fruit being taken by Horse Man and Angela subsequently becoming a tree herself and growing flowers of herself is written in the proposed episode synopses for TMRoHM available on Filmcow's Patreon! The details of why the tree was important, what the Angela flowers represent, what the tree looks like, the tree's location, who still visits Angela, her room- basically all the details not stated previously were made up by me :3)

The Ball Pit

One of my greatest little comic thingies <3 Just a silly little thing but I'm still happy with how it turned out.

One note is that I draw the back of Orb's head differently :/ I'm well aware it looks like another face but that wasn't my intent ;-;

Also, they're actually strong enough to throw Dennis. And all the other characters, really...

Also highlight colors! Last post I mentioned Angela's yellow, but I'll explain them all below the cut :3

So Angela is yellow because of its prominence yet vibrance in nature, which she is connected to. How about the others?

Horse Man I chose green because it's a color often used for meaner characters, but also because of nature in a way. Green is the most common in plants and nature, which is kind of a subtle way of saying he fits in very well with the Realm despite being from a very different place in more ways than one...

Randall is pink! Going along with colors' vibrance and rarity, pink/red is usually a very noticeable color that stands out in nature. He's a popular guy who stands out, so it makes sense that way. But I also chose it as a hint to his true nature- shame over a softer side, embarrassment when he's unable to keep up.

Orb is purple because it is the most unnatural color. Purple dye used to be so rare than only richer people could afford purple clothes, fun fact! And I think this sort of unnatural color, and how it's also a very cold color, is fitting with how Orb is a robot, and is very glad to be one.

(However if Orb was entirely a robot, they'd have no color at all...)

Lastly, Dennis is blue! Honestly was the easiest color to pick because he's so fish-like, and the ocean is blue, color association stuff yknow. But in further ties to the ocean, it's something that can be as off putting as it is comforting. As cold as it brings warmth. I think it's perfect :)

Pride month thingy

I wanted to draw their flags in ways unique to them so Dennis has his hearts and Randall gets a card :3

Randall and Dennis would get married and Horse Man would be mad that their wedding coincides with HIS wedding (he’s not actually getting married to anyone he just wanted a wedding for attention)

I would 100% agree if the time line made sense

Horse Man gradually becomes a better person throughout my story, so by the time Randall and Dennis would even consider getting married Horse Man would've been chill for a while lol!

But I will not deny Horse Man would definitely crash a few dates for any variety of reasons (Thinks they're hanging out and wants to be included, wants attention, thinks they shouldn't hang out for some reason, etc)

I could also imagine Horse Man at the wedding like "This is such a cool party! We should get married, Orb."

And Orb is just "W H A T??"

Receipt Drawings

These are some silly doodles I made at my old job before I realized I hated doodling at work.

The first one- Idk why Horse Man looks like that I was so tired I forgot how I would usually draw him (it was early on in me drawing the characters) But I guess he's trying to throw a super serious party and Dennis and Randall clearly did not get the memo.

Second one Ig is kinda cool because it shows a lot of Dennis's underwater capability. His ears are like an axolotl's gils, his actual gills are on his chest (he cut holes in his shirt to breathe Ig), he can talk and hear clearly underwater, and there are bubbles coming out of his head for no clear reason! What a beautiful creature :3 Also I think Randall doesn't like being submerged.

These doodles obviously are very messy but I like them anyway. Just some silly ideas I wanted to make lol

Orb Appreciation

I love themmmmm, my favorite robot boy <3

To make a long story short, Orb has Ig 3 major arcs. Pre-transportation (not pictured, but they're 21 at the oldest in this period), Orb arc (when they forgot their name a spent most of the show, about 5 to 7 years I would guess, and are being reckless, apathetic, and are very dangerous), and post-The Device (basically after they get their memories and, for the sake of brevity, "stop being evil"). These times are rather important for every character but with Orb it is the most important when specifying. The first two images are Orb arc and the second two are post-The Device. And honestly the second and third aren't really canon but based on those eras.

Commentary and a ton of lore below cut :3

First picture I think is good for showing both Orb and Dennis's relationship early on, and just how apathetic they are to most people. Orb doesn't really think highly of anyone besides Randall, and with Dennis especially, he doesn't like him. Orb treats basically everyone the same besides Randall and Horse Man. Randall they idolize, and Horse Man they banter with and find amusement from. Everyone else? Ehh...

(Also Dennis angry face... squinty smile hehe)

Second image is just kinda funny, not supposed to show a relationship. Based on fanart of Jevil and Seam which itself is based on the pondering the orb meme. Randall is a magician so I chose him to be the ponderer!

Third image. Ok real name reveal!! I named them Ezra :3 Which is the name they preferred pre-transportation and then remembered after The Device. I often call them Ezra instead of Orb also, and I don't really think of it as a spoiler because it's just a name... And Dennis gets his memory back like soon before the first TMRoHM video would've happened, so ye. Anyway, the shirt they're wearing is based on a shirt I have irl that I like a lot and reminds me of them <3 Also I just love that they eventually start to actually have fun. They like singing and dancing! But wouldn't "waste their time" with such things during the Orb arc. Ofc, they don't let loose so quickly after, but yknow. Life goes on and they do eventually :3

And the last image is one of my first sketches of them which I have always loved, them just genuinely laughing. I was doing a variety of expressions and emotions as practice, and this is my favorite of the bunch. They used to almost never laugh. They were robotic, intentionally emotionless despite having emotions in their soul. Their eye was always closed. But here, they're just chillin', So I always felt like this drawing was very sweet!

Other relevant lore... Well, I don't think I will draw much of it soon so I'll explain that in this world are several realms (more equivalent to continents but still), each with a unique set of civilizations. Orb is from the robot's realm, and there he was considered almost like a deity, because robot don't have souls. For *some reason*, Orb does. And this is very important. There's also an animal realm, where Horse Man is from, that is canonically fascist and militaristic, and is at war with the robot realm. Orb created a machine very early into the story that malfunctioned and took him to Horse Man. They tried to use the machine again and the two were taken to Angela in the mutant realm, which is the main setting.

(Btw, Horse Man did not like the animal realm very much and was considered an outcast. He also has a real name! But this post is long enough as it is.)

Uncolored Redraw Thingies

These are all redraws of memes or whatever I thought fit the characters lol

First one features one of the Angela flowers all dressed up- This is the only picture I originally planned on outlining and coloring but it's been a few months so I don't think will ;-; Even though I think it's cute and funny

Dennis with the phone speaks for itself tbh.

Everyone is so mean to Horse Man :'( Even though he is so thick (I have no idea how to draw his legs... like that and I am not looking that up. For the time being.)

Randall and Dennis are extremely convincing you can tell by their eye contact and very casual happy expressions!!

Idk it's all just more silly stuff from my collection that I was able to tie together with the theme of being based on a pre-existing image!
