Sorry this took so long, I took it way to seriously 😂

okay okay this was so hard because I have songs that are Eddie coded but I'm not sure he would listen to them/the artists (etc If I loved a Boy by We Three)

1. The Chicks (formerly Dixie Chicks) His sisters listened to them growing up and Eddie used to pretend he didn't like them (eww girls) but he has them on his playlist especially Texas Man

2. Zack Bryan - I relatively new listen - he heard Something in the orange on Buck's playlist (who got it from tiktok) and has been listening to him none stop since.

3. Noah Kahan (this might be self-indulgent because he's my favourite artist atm) but he would find him through the collab he has with Zack Bryan and loves the I Was/ I Am album but especially Godlight (Thanks to @spagheddiediaz for pointing out how Eddie coded this song is). Also (because he is actually a big romantic) he would love Everywhere, Everything.

4. Now this is getting tough but I think he would listen to someone his Abeula introduced him to as they danced around her kitchen when he was young. I don't know much about Spanish music from that era but maybe someone like Ritchie Valens or Juan Gabriel can or Lola Beltrán or maybe some more contemporary like Luis Miguel.

5. And lastly it would be someone Eddie started listening to because of Chris like If I Were a Fish by Corook but seeing as the rest of their songs aren’t super kid friendly maybe the Encanto soundtrack which the Buckley-Diaz family watched on one of their movie nights and it’s all Chris wanted to listen to in the car. Eddie's favourite song is Surface Pressure for obvious reasons. And he loves to sing Dos Oruguitas to Buck (who pretends not to understand what the lyrics say). Buck accuses of Eddie loving the movie and he just brushes it off saying it's Chris's favourite. It goes on a playlist with the Coco soundtrack and Eddie gets all teary eyes when Remember Me comes one.

hello hi I'm totally normal about miles and miguel's theoretical mixed playlists

I'm rolling in hot with 2 things:

first, i love to imagine that their combined playlist has odd matches, but that it adds variety to the car ride mood. it's got classics like shout by tears for fears, you spin me round (like a record) by dead or alive, another one bites the dust by queen, gimme! gimme! gimme! by abba, and ballroom blitz by sweet. the last one is a self-aware hilarious choice made by miles in referencing miguel himself AND the spider-chase on him. like, for real listen to it and read the lyrics, it's so ATSV chase scene

(miles also feels that miguel has glam rock taste and he's neither wrong nor right, but a secret third thing)

AND also! there's some spanish classics mixed in there! like oye como va by santana, some unexpected rock like muñeco de trapo by oreja de van gogh, and some that are high-energy and ALMOST too dangerous to be driving with, like buleria by david bisbal. miguel&miles scream that one out together with the windows down 🗣️🗣️

(for my own indulgence, they listen to like you by daddy yankee, a forgotten Spanglish classic that they both actually know)

second, miguel's likes are a Disaster beyond saving. man's got 16k songs in there. not even lyla can't salvage that, and she has performed miracles of technology before. "how do you have 16 thousand songs liked? did you hit heart on every song you've ever listened to?? how long do you spend scrolling??" he's got everything from Erik Satie to Taylor Swift to Juan Luis Guerra to elevator music in those likes. they don't make sense

and miguel's only response is like 🧍"i was in my depressed era" (he still is).

miles' contribution with the 'pass the aux cord for the love of god' playlist is the only thing saving miguel's musical taste

anyway, i should be writing huh :)

other stuff i watched this year: Good Omens, Lucifer, honestly I can't think of anything else. Otherwise I watch like the same 5 true crime shows and be sad about them.

shows i dropped this year: Lucifer. I love that show, but I had to stop in the middle of season 3 because Lucifer is a hot mess of religious trauma and he's just so triggering. Gah. I love Deckerstar though. Will pick it up again when I can.

currently reading: Her Little Flowers by Shannon Morgan. I'm only into chapter 4 I think, but it's really good so far. It's about a reclusive woman living in her crumbling English manor with several ghosts. Honestly the setting feels like the video game Goetia, but instead of demons in the walls there's ghosts, which, I don't know, is probably better?

currently listening to: Queen. Yep, it's time for the Gomens playlist.

currently working on: several art projects... a portrait of Supreme Archangel Aziraphale, an angsty picture of Crowley, uhh there's a Miguel O'Hara sketch, some ObeyMe OCs, at least two pictures of Lucifer from ObeyMe, and so many other WIPs.

current obsession/s: Good Omens. It's consumed my life and I'm okay with that. Also my ObeyMe OCs' stories which I will never post, they're just self indulgent.
