Gold with a Soft!Reader [Platonic/Romantic]

Due to you naivety, he'd definitely use it for pranks one way or another.

Of course, he wouldn't go too far with any of them.

Jokes. Lots of jokes, lots of sass. Definitely teases you every once in a while.

He's a very outgoing person, very active, so expect an invite to hang out with you almost 24/7.

Of course, his favorite place would be the game corner. He'll be cheating once in a while, saying it's just a neat trick he learned.

Most of the time, you'd have to bail him out from the consequences of his shenanigans.

He'll try to get you something as 'compensation'. Mostly plushies. Lots of plushies.

He always assures you that he can take care of things himself when you worry about him. This pretty much boosts his ego whenever you do.

His Pokemon are his family, inside his house, in his team, even in the PC/box. You'd have to be okay with them if you were going to be friends. Fortunately, they really like to have you around due to your soft-hearted and kind nature.

Pokemon battling, mainly for fun, would definitely be an activity for you both.

Skateboarding! If you want to, he would be willing to teach you the basics and some cool tricks! It'd be nice for him to have a skating bud!

Romantic

Most of Gold's Pokemon were the ones who set you both up.

Right off the bat, his teasing would be amplified by 5. He will stop at nothing to make you a blushing mess even if his actions or words aren't as smooth as he thinks.

PDA? Possible yes for him. Holding hands, small hugs, maybe a few small kisses here and there. Depends, really. He can and will give affection at any given opportunity.

Or at least he thinks he can. The first few times were a bit awkward, but the two of you grew a bit more accustomed to it as time goes on.

Hugs will be very common for you both. From the back, front, side, you name it. Though he prefers to hug you from the front just to rest your head by the crook of his neck or on his chest.

Small pecks around your face from him are very common. If he's bold enough, he'd give you a quick peck on the lips.

He would be gushing about how great you are to his friends, almost to the point that it gets a bit annoying for them. Nevertheless, they're really happy for the both of you.

Imagine if flying on Togebo's [Togekiss] back was an activity both of you did kind of often. Whether it's in the night sky, sunset, or sunrise, the both of you just enjoy the view as Togebo flies above the region.

Below here is just some manga analyzing:

The panel where mary said that togepi and gold looks similar is when I fucking realised. It was intentional. It was a fucking clue.

Togebo as we see in the hgss arc in the manga was often being left out by gold HIMSELF and was said that togebo wasn't open up to gold. Saying their connection is still weak. But togebo WANTS to open up, but gold just kept on putting it as a bench warmer because it's still weak and gold is trying to protect it.

Don't you see??? Now look at the panel where mary said these two are similar. Pokepse *knew* and it was *intentional*

They intentionally wrote gold in the hgss seem more as a comedic relief because it's to invoke sense of being left out to us the readers, to connect ourself to what gold should feel But it's bevause gold acts so casual like his usual self makes it hard to believe that gold was actually bothered by it.

Until this panel showed up.. ironic isn't it gold?

What if the words gold felt about togebo here is actually what gold always think/felt himself as?
