”Yeah, thank you! That would be nice!” Aya replied.

However, as they continued on, the Ogerpon started to become more and more visibly nervous- Aya fiddled with her obi and necklace, kicked a little pebble, looked at the ground a lot. Finally, at the end of the path, stood her house.

“Okay….,” she breathed in and gulped, heart pounding. Aya went up towards the door and knocked on it. The Ogerpon started to open her mouth, and-

The three enveloped their daughter in a warm embrace, letting out sighs of relief, sounds of laughter, and shaky sobs.

@ogre-n-partner Poni: Hey! What's your deal!? We were just talking, nothing more! No need to threaten anyone! How would you like it if I did it back!

Upon saying this, the Monkidori’s eyes glow a bright array of colors. He stares at-no…past? Poni for a long time.

“Your intentions match up with your claims….I suppose I’ll give you a shot. But if you end up hurting Aya in ANY way….” he trails off, glaring.

The Okidoki physically relaxes and lets out a sigh of relief. “Oh, thank goodness!” He says, gently setting Aya down.

“Sorry we were suspicious, we haven’t had any visitors up here- especially visitors as nice as you guys!”

“Kenji, dear, you don’t have to apologize,” Miu speaks up, fiddling with his fan. “Better safe than sorry…” the Fezandipiti lowers his voice to a whisper so Aya couldn’t hear. “You know what most people on the island are like…”

Tomo doesn’t say anything, and instead just continue to glare at the visitor.

"Oh, I hope I'm not trespassing by being here," Kenina remarks, looking sheepish as she speaks to the young Ogerpon. "I didn't know that this was anyone's home. I'm very sorry." Well, to be more specific, she didn't know that the area was deemed off-limits by those who live here. Otherwise, she wouldn't have gone exploring in the unfamiliar territory out of respect for them.

“You're a feral!” Aya replies cheerfully. “We see so many of you around here- they're just really really quiet. My dads say that it's other people who are dangerous, not you guys! I think they'll actually really like to mee-”

You slowly look up, a pit of fear I'm your stomach. Your eyes meet three other pairs- a concerned vermillion, an angry peach, and a suspicious crimson.

“I don't know how you've gotten past the barrier, but state your name and what your business is- or else,” the Pokemon with the crimson eyes demands, staring you down with his piercing gaze.

I took inspiration from depictions of Japanese gods for Aya, and I thought I'd draw the Dads in more modern getup! ^^

Aya's fathers please calm yourselfs. Aya is at the beach as we speak. She is making sand castles.

"Oh GENEROUS ONE- IS SHE EVEN ON THE ISLAND?!? HOW FAR DID SHE GO?!? IS SHE HURT?!? DID ANY OF THOSE VILLAGERS FIND HER!?!"

"But she's too young for that!!"

"WHO ARE THEY?!? IF THEY EVEN THINK OF SEEING HER AGAIN I'LL PUT THEIR HEAD ON A SPIKE!!!"

"mY BABYYYYY....." sobbing noises could be heard.
