𖥸 KUROO “Uh, kitten, listen. Looks like we won’t be having Valentine’s this year. I forgot.” You knew his tone so well if he’s just messing with you, so you gave him a prim smile and turned your back against him.

“It’s okay. It looks like you won’t be having a significant other this Valentine’s day either.”

He leaned his head backwards, laughing. With you being sassy like that, he just loved it. Placing a soft kiss on your cheek, he pressed you close to him. “Tell me why are you so cute?”

You returned the kiss and replied, “I think you know that better than me.” You winked at him, which made him chuckle. While you walked a little further, he just suddenly stopped, realizing what you said a while ago, “Wait- will you actually break up with me if I forgot about Valentine’s?”

You laughed. What a dork.

𖥸TSUKISHIMA “Where are we going today?” You excitedly asked him, but he just looked at you querulously.

“Huh?”

You just stared at him. Is this true? It’s your first Valentine’s together and… “I-I…I just thought since it’s Valentine’s- Never mind.” You waved away. Your very first impression of Tsukki was that he’s a very detached guy. What were you even expecting?

Seeing that small pout on your face, he caved in He laughed and smiled at you softly, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before holding your hand. He leaned down to whisper in your ear. “I have seats reserved for dinner tonight, shortcake.”

𖥸OIKAWA You met him outside the gym after his practice. He rushed to you with a worried expression on his face. “Y/N-chan! It’s Valentine’s today!”

“Yes, it is.”

He rubbed the back of his head. “Uhmmm…actually, about that. I forgot it’s today.” You sighed. “You always do, Tooru.”

“Hey I do not! You’re so mean Y/N-chan! I can’t believe you’ll actually think I’ll forget. Can’t you remember? I even kissed you while we’re riding the ferriswheel last year! And tonight, I-“

Before he could even continue, you already pressed your lips on his cute little pout, giving him a peck. “Silly, I know you’re pranking me. Who will believe you when you have bunch of roses sticking out of your backpack?”

His eyes widened upon realization and you both laughed at each other with him pressing his forehead against yours while wrapping an arm around you. “You really got me bad, huh?”

you know when you're listening to a song for possibly the thousandth time and just then, you notice a subtle bassline or a very soft repetitive tune tucked right underneath? and then every time you listen to it it seems to get louder and fuller until the song sounds like somewhat of a more defined, deeper version of what you already loved before? i think that's you. every time people look at you there's more to see, as if you're forever blossoming, developing, growing. you're safety yet you're exciting. you're steadfast yet ever-changing. you're a beautiful person and however calm or sad or unexciting you might feel, you're so easy to return to again and again because you're so difficult to forget. i hope you don't experience a feeling of being used for it, but rather treasured. it's hard to come by people with your heart.

1. Kakashi. This one will do it no questions asked and just let you sleep on his bed.

2. Yuuji. Blessed boy is so pure he'd take such good care of you.

3. Mirio. I don't think Mirio is *quite* as pure as Yuuji, but he would take great care of you and he's more than strong enough to carry you.

4. I want to say Hatori, but he's a little sloppy when he does because I kinda HC him to be a bit of a heavy drinker. Either way, he's trust worthy and a gentleman, just maybe don't lean on him too much or you'll both topple over. If you went out without him though, he'd come pick you up no matter what time it was. He'd go full doctor mode and if you're running to the toilet, he will hold your hair.

5. I'm going to go with Mitsuya Takashi. I put him last because I feel like he's going to be a busy man one way or the other, so it might take a hot minute for him to listen to the drunken voice message you leave him. Either way, he's sure to pick you up and take good care of you.

He swiftly shifted his glance on you and back on the road as he drove, chuckling. "Getting bored already?"

You sighed in admission. "Can we go a little faster?" You asked, trying your chances.

"Hmm, getting impatient, huh?" Teasingly, he ran up his hand higher up your thigh and gave it a playful squeeze, a smirk marking his face. "Don't worry I'll go full speed on you once we get home."

His gaze pinned you down with a little devilish smile. You gulped when his warm hand seared your skin, giving you shivers as it roamed even higher.

you've been pondering for a long time now, if your ever-loving kyojuro was capable of getting jealous. It might not seem that way but he does. He does, very quietly. You didn't know how difficult it was for him to talk himself out of the feeling whenever he'd see someone else bearing the capability to make you smile just like he can. He would always reprimand himself for being so selfish of you, for wanting to be the only one who can make you laugh and feel loved like no other. However, he couldn't control himself from gripping your hand much tighter, keeping you closer to him and kissing you more passionately every chance he'd get, because he wanted to engrave in your memory that he's an irreplaceable part of your life. You might not notice it, but his smile would stiffen and falter whenever he's getting the feeling that you're much better off with someone else, someone better and would give you reassurance of coming back home unscathed in your arms.

"Frown doesn't look good on you at all." Tooru huffed and puffed his chest, placing both hands on his waist. You just gave him a faint smile, melancholy visible in your eyes.

"God, I'm such a loser am I not?" He sighed. He knew very well that this was all about you and not him, but it's just impossible to take himself out when he crumbles on the inside seeing you doubt yourself. He couldn't even make you smile.

"No, don't say that! You're not!" You asserted to him.

He pulled out a pout and reasoned out, "Then you shouldn't think of yourself the same way too."

You guiltily turned your face away from him.

"Don't you think I wouldn't know?" Tooru wrapped his arms around you from behind. "Y/N...Do you know why I love you?"

You quietly shook your head.

"It's because you show me how to fight despite feeling defeated all the time." His voice, quiet and sincere. "Even if my dreams seem so far away, you always make me feel like they're all within my reach. Just like this." He tightened his embrace and rested his chin atop your shoulder.

All this time, Tooru chased after the distant sky, drifting too close to the sun. Each day he felt like his hope was starting to fade. All along, he thought it was his dream. But it wasn't. He just wanted to win.

Tooru buried his face against your neck. Tears started spilling from his eyes and you felt it against your skin.

He doesn't want you to feel the same. No, not you.

You showed him how it was to dream. Having you here by his side, felt like he finally got the clouds in his arms.

Engulfed by the sober silence of your room, you both knew that in each other's arms, you found a safe space to sigh and cry in defeat. You might end up losing, but you'd be losers together.

"I love you, Y/N." He mumbled.

"I love you too." You turned around to hug him back, pouring everything in his warmth and knowing that this was kind of a beautiful victory on its own because in your hearts, you found someone to dream with in each other.

"Why? What happened?" He held you, worry marking his every word. You sobbed, "I think I failed. I think I didn't do well." You heard him sigh and before you knew it, he lifted you up and sat you on his lap, cradling you. "That's non-sense, Y/N." He said in an almost reprimanding tone, only to shift it sweetly and softly as if he's handling you with care. So much care. "We both know you did your best, okay?" You just hid your face against his face. "Want to stay like this for awhile?" You nodded your head in response as he embraced you tightly and peppered kisses on top of your head.

𖥸 OSAMU He was approaching your usual spot and saw your gloomy expression. "Did something happen?" He asked, but immediately figured it all out as if he could read your mind. "Ahhh...is it about the exams?" You nodded your head and he chucked, sitting beside you. "'m pretty sure you did better than my brother." You elbowed him, playfully. Despite your worries, he still made you snort out a little laugh. "Here, say ahhh..." "Huh?" You reacted, a little puzzled, yet he already fed you with a mouthful of onigiri. "Do you like it? Is it delicious?" You nodded your head in agreement. "It's the best I made so far, because I know you gave your best." He pressed his forehead against yours. "Though the real best thing is seeing you smile so pretty." You blushed and he grinned at you so dearly, "There...there's my angel."

𖥸 KITA After listening to your worries, his heart couldn't help but feel a little ache seeing you like that. He tucked strands of your hair behind you ear and pulled you into his arms, wrapping you in his warmth. "Shhhh...Shhh..." He gently, pressed your head onto his chest, lovingly brushing your hair with his fingers. "Don't ever say that to yourself. Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" It pains me to see you that way. He wanted to say that to you, but he hesitated, thinking that he didn't want to smother you. Instead, he nuzzled close to your head, inhaling every essence of you into his being. In his arms, there's nothing more than he wanted you to feel right now, but, "I'm so proud of you. I'm very proud of you, love."

𐐪- you might think that that he'd realize it immediately but no. Kyojuro loves you, but he also loves everybody 𐐪- he could have a problem with identifying that his admiration towards you was different, but everyone around him, especially Tanjirou, knew 𐐪- Kyo will always ask to pair up with you in every chance he could get 𐐪- when he knew you'd be arriving from your duty, he'd wait for you just so he could invite you to have lunch/dinner with him (treats you often) 𐐪- you'd be surprised that he'd give you bento before you set off to your mission or before he sets out to his 𐐪- offers to walk you home and chats non-stop as if not wanting to let go of you yet 𐐪- whenever you speak to him, he'd sometimes just space out looking at your face 𐐪- Y/N this and that around Senjuro, the other slayers, the butterfly girls at the estate and even around Oyakata-sama 𐐪- his smile whenever he saw you was just different compared to others. When it comes to you, it's a mixture of sunshine and silliness that everyone arounds him could feel just how much he's so giddy to be around you

𐐪- observes you keenly and the things you like...he wants to connect with you but doesn't know how to begin with it PLS HELP HIM 𐐪- the trio would aid him by tipping off what could you possibly be into so he could give you gifts 𐐪- at first, he acted like a secret admirer, giving you cute little trinkets from his mission in ways that won't reveal himself to you 𐐪- in time, you found out about it and thanked him...he was shocked and failed to say anything because he's so overwhelmed 𐐪- you'd notice that he'd do little things for you like offering his haori if it's cold, giving you medicines to bring as first aid during your missions and there's this time he gifted you with a lucky charm 𐐪- the very first time he gave you something upfront he just extended his hand with the item atop...you had to ask him if it's for you, because he just went panic mode deep inside 𐐪- the trio told him to smile often when around you and so there are moments when he'd practice smiling in the mirror (his first smile made him look constipated tho) 𐐪- he had this keepsake wherein he kept all the things you gave him and when you gifted him something handy, everyone would notice how he would sometimes smile lovingly at the item during his free time 𐐪- he might not think that he didn't deserve to be something more for you but he'd try to be the best friend you'd always wish you've had and would love and protect you regardless if you'd notice him or not uwu

SANEMI

𐐪- he's a mixture of tsundere and gentle so you'd really be puzzled on what he felt towards you 𐐪- left food at your doorsteps sometimes because he's too shy to be caught giving it to you, he won't admit he's shy tho 𐐪- once you thanked him for it, he'd blush and looked away..."It's not like I only made those for you." But he did, tbh 𐐪- he'd stammer everytime he'd try to initiate a conversation that sometimes he had come off reactive just to get it out, but his entire face was red 𐐪- he almost fight w/ Tanjirou bc the boy pointed out that Nemi had a crush on you and he went ballistic over it... 𐐪- sometimes you'd catch him staring at you alot, so when you gave him a smile, he'd sharply turn his head away like he just went ASDFGHJKL 𐐪- he had the tendency to raise his voice and act so aggressive around the other slayers, but whenever he sensed you're around, he'd just tone himself down and went tried to remain calm

𐐪 TANJIROU It was always during his bedtime stories when he would notice how you darted your eyes away whenever he'd look at you. Tanjirou giggled at himself and hovered his face over yours, leaving only a few inches in between. You still tilted your head sideways, nervous at making eye contact with him or your heart might burst...figuratively. As you thought you had your way, he suddenly pressed his forehead against yours and briefly holding your gaze. Warmth coiled in his stomach when he finally caught your eyes, even if it's just in a a snap of your time. It was a different kind of happiness he could only feel with you. Before you get uncomfortable, he pulled you in for an embrace, laughing at how cute you were. Those little seconds...you didn't know how much it meant to him.

𐐪 ZENITSU He was singing you a song at your backyard and you were seated beside him, watching him as his fingers strung when he noticed that you were looking at him with adoring eyes. You immediately snapped your eyes away when you met his. He gulped and blushed at the same time. He knew it that you get a little shy whenever your eyes would meet. A grin appeared on his face as his lyrics changed. The words to his melody now told the story of how he'd love to gaze upon your lovely eyes, because looking at them made him feel like he's watching the stars. Stunned, you unknowingly look him in the eye, however once he noticed you started to reciprocate his gaze, he panicked and stuttered all over the song.

𐐪 INOSUKE It was another day when the two of you were talking to each other and you just deflect whenever he'd look you in the eye. He was kind of confrontational about it to you and he realized it made you uncomfortable. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable. He leaned close to you and you reflexively pinched close your eyes. His eyes squinted, inspecting you closely. He really couldn't figure you out. A grunt and groan escaped him and you really thought he 'd be upset at you when you always avoid eye contact. However, you were surprised when he placed soft kisses over your eyelids. Right now, he might not understand your cute little quirk, but it didn't matter. You're all that matters.

𐐪 KYOJURO Your heart never failed to beat a little faster whenever Kyo was around. Even after years of being together so close to him, he still gave you that bubbly feeling and the feeling intensifies whenever you'd look in his eyes. But he loved them. He loved looking through you and just bask in your depths. One of his few tricks to catch your gaze was getting the perfect time. Mostly, it's whenever you were reading a book and you're fully-concentrated on it. He would sit in front of you, his hand softly drifted to cradle your face. You'd look at him in surprise as he held your gaze. He gave out a grin of victory, softly saying, "There, there..." Even in that small second, he did his best to engrave in his memory the way they sparkled. His heart heavy with love, knowing that you had him in your sights.

𐐪 GIYUU He really didn't give much thought whenever you'd avoid looking him in the eyes, neither did he find it disrespectful. However, when he started to admire them from afar, he began wondering why you hesitate to reveal them up close. That one memorable time you were talking to each other face to face and you kept glancing everywhere except his face, he's just lost trying to unravel how would it feel when you look back at him. "Your eyes..." He started and you paused, looking at your laced fingers. "Don't hide them. They're beautiful," and he said it like it's the most normal and natural thing in the world.

𐐪 SANEMI At first, he thought you were rude, but as time went by he came to have a pretty complex reaction whenever you avoid his glance. Usually, a pout and a strong blush would always appear on his face. With his arms crossed, he would turn his gaze away too. Geez... Why do you have to make him feel this way? He knew it's quite a struggle for you to make eye contact, but he couldn't also help to think you look cute everytime. Like, extra cute. He noticed you already shifted back your eyes on him and he reflexively caught them. Just like you, he ended up sharply glancing away as he fell through his words.

KNY BOYS AND BREAK-UP PRANK

𐐪 TANJIROU You were on a date at the city center, hands in each other’s, when you suddenly let go of him and stopped walking. He asked you what’s wrong and you said you’re finally breaking up with him.

Confused, he asked, “What do you mean? I don’t…I don’t get it.” He held your arms and questioned you again with full concern. “Did I…Did I do something wrong?”

You shook your head. “It’s not you. It’s me. I’m sorry.”

“B-But…we were just fine. We were… just laughing a few minutes ago…I…” His lips quivered and he looked a lot like a puppy that’s about to cry. You couldn’t keep up anymore. How could you when he’s looking a lot like a soft hurt baby like this! “Y/N! Tell me. Tell me what’s wrong! I-” He panicked and for a brief second you surely got a feeling that he’d kneel in front of you in public. For that reason, you hugged him and rubbed his back soothingly. You felt him cried and you felt guilty.

“T-Tanjirou I was just pranking you. I’m really sorry.”

He sniffed. “What?”

“It was just…” Oh god. You were nervous. “…a prank.”

Tanjirou was overjoyed when he learned that it was just a prank. He hugged you tightly like he’d never let you go again. However, he pulled back. Crossing his arms, he puffed his cheeks. “I can’t believe you pranked me like that! I thought you were serious. I was really scared!”

You spent the rest of the day with Tanjirou pretending to be pouty all the while enjoying your undivided attention as you spoiled him rotten. He immediately caved in though because he couldn’t resist returning the affection.

𐐪 ZENITSU

“Zenitsu-kun, we’re over. I’m breaking up with you.” You said instead of giving him a welcome home.

Zenitsu slumped his shoulders, tears forming in his eyes. “Y/N-chan…What’re you talking about?”

“We’re done.”

His knees caved in and he hugged your torso. “Please don’t! Don’t do this to me! I can’t afford to lose you! I wouldn’t know how to live! Y/N-chan please don’t do this to me!”

You kept brushing him off but he still persisted. “I’d do whatever you want! Please!” He clung to you like his life depended on it all throughout the day that you finally told him it was just a prank.

He paused for a while until he hugged you so tight again. This time crying tears of joy.

“Is it true Y/N-chan? You’re not breaking up with me? You still love me? You’re not leaving?”s

You assured and comforted him and he immediately responded by showering your face with kisses.

𐐪 INOSUKE

“Hey! You’ve been quiet for a while now. What’s wrong with you?” He asked.

You answered. “Let’s just…break up.”

Inosuke grinned with excitement and said, “Let’s go! I’m ready for it!” He laughed. “What is it that you want us to break up?”

“…”

“Why’re you just staring at me? Tell me what is it now! Let’s go!”

You exhaled exasperatedly. “I mean…we’re over. Our relationship is done.”

“What are you- What’re you talkin’ about? That can’t be possible!” He angrily demanded but it was quite obvious how he’s trying to to fight his sadness and tears. “Is it about the food? If that’s all I can give you my portion! That ain’t enough? I will give you all my portions!”

“No, no, Inosuke, darling.” You held his face. “I…it was just a joke.”

He grunted. “It’s a bad joke! What’re you even thinking? Who even told you that joke? I’ll break him up real good!” You profusely apologized and he turned away a pout evident on his face. “Don’t you ever do that again!”

You nodded your head and kissed him on the cheek to defuse his annoyance and it worked.

“Will you still give me your portion?” You playfully asked laying your head on his chest as you hug him.

“Not anymore.” He said and added, “at least, not today.”

You smiled.

𐐪 KYOJURO

“Kyojuro…” You called out. “Let’s end this. End us.”

He laughed nervously. “Love, what’s that? What are you saying?” You just gave him a blank look, which caused him to gulp dryly. “What is it, love? Why? Please tell me.”

“I’m tired. Already tired.”

There was a moment of silence until you saw his eyes glistened like tears were triggering to fall, but he resisted them and smiled at you instead. “I can’t understand any of this, but if…that’s what makes you happy then I have no choice but to let you go. Just remember, that it’s hard for me to do this for you but I’m setting you free because I love you so much-”

“Kyo, that’s-” You were about to tell him the truth but he raised his hand and stopped you.

“I need to say this to you before I never get the chance to. I want you to be happy all days of your life. Eat your meals on time and please don’t skip. Don’t stay up too late at night. If you get sick or hurt, just know that I’ll still always be here for you. I’ll always worry for you even when you’re away from me. I don’t thi-”

“Kyo…Kyojuro, love.” You called and he finally stopped talking. Nervously and embarrassedly you admitted, “I’m not breaking up with you. It…was just a prank.”

His eyes widened but he looked a lot okay now, happy even. “What?” He asked like he wanted to hear it again.

“I love you and I won’t ever leave you. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I…” He didn’t let you finish as he already had his lips on yours kissing you tenderly. Your arms wrapped around him as he had his around you.

Slightly pulling back, he softly told you, “It’s fine. I’ll admit that it made me realize just how much I love you and how I should show it everyday I’m with you.” He smiled and brushed few locks of your hair away from your face. “Just don’t do it again please. You got me scared there.”

𐐪 GIYUU

You both agreed to meet at the park where you first saw each other and informed him that you were going to tell him something important.

Alone, he saw you with a serious and blank stare. It’s enough to get him nervous.

“Y/N” He called you rather anxiously. “How long have you been here? Did I make you wait too long?”

You turned your head towards him. “Giyuu,”

You called him by his name. No love, sweetheart or the cute silly things you used to call him by and your expression bore the look like it already told him everything he needed to know.

He took a deep breath and asked, “Is this it?”

You just blinked twice.

“Are you…are you breaking up with me? Have you finally found someone better?”

“Baby it’s…” You panicked. You hadn’t even telling him anything, but you couldn’t see it his face how much he’s already hurting a lot.

“I understand. I know you deserve better…someone so much better than me.”

“No, no, Giyuu no!” You cupped his face with both of your hands. He just looked so helpless and devastated. Guess the karma was stronger; it bit you before you can even do so. “I love you. You know that. I could never ever leave you.”

You couldn’t do the prank after all.

“You…You’re not?”

You nodded your head in agreement. Giyuu leaned his forehead against yours and sighed. “Thank god. ”

You gulped.  😬

It was one of those moments when you were having one of those petty arguments that you decided to pull off the prank.

“Fine. Let’s just break up!” You said and he froze.

It was so normal for you to bicker on small things because you love talking each other’s ears off, but this was the very first time you said you’re going to break up with him.

He swallowed the little fear and thought that maybe it was one of your bratty comeback again. “Do you think you’ll ever get me with that? Good luck!”

“Whatever, I’m breaking up with you.”

“Do whatever you want!” Sanemi said as he walked away.

You huffed to yourself. Did he seriously going to give you just that? Yeah, this was a prank but this ain’t the reaction you’re expecting to get from him at all!

“I don’t want this anymore.” You mumbled with a serious tone trying to add more drama. Luckily for you, he heard it even from afar.

With a sigh, he sat beside you and asked. “Are you seriously giving up? That easily? Tch, are you really serious about that, huh? ”

You just remained quiet—not even batting him an eye and he drew out a long exhale.

He inched near you and rested his head on your shoulder. “Isn’t there anything else that I can do to change your mind, huh?” He whispered. And my oh my, you could feel his breath against your neck.

You looked him in the eyes and answered. “Nothing.”

However, before you could even protest, Sanemi crushed his lips against yours. His fingers tangling around your hair as you gripped his shirt as he kissed you senseless the kind that left you breathless.

Parting away, he asked, voice raspy. “Are we still breaking up or is this only a one last thing?”

“Uhmm, let’s not?”

He smirked and got back to consuming your lips. The next morning though, he was furious after you told him it was all just a prank (lmao) Though, he’s a little cute when grumpy.
