How to change the admin password on the TP-link router?
Changing the admin password for accessing the TP-link router’s web-based management setup page via tplinkwifi.net from the default values that can be easily accessible by unauthorized users to something strong secures your TP-link router from unwanted access to the router’s setup page. The admin password is the default TP-link router login password that is entered to log into the TP-link router’s web interface.
·         Access the web browser on your computer or other TP-link router’s wireless network connected device.
·         Enter TP-link router default login web address tplinkwifi.net or default IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of the web browser to reach the web interface of the TP-link router.
·         Fill in the required TP-link router default login details as username and password in the TP-link router login page by locating them from the router’s label.
·         Enter both the TP-link router default login username and password as ‘admin’ in lowercase in the login page.
·         The TP-link router’s web interface appears after successful tplinkwifi.net login.
·         On the setup page, go to the Management option and click on the Access Control option.
·         Look for the Password option on the left page, and click on it.
·         Type the old admin password that is default value preset on the TP-link router and set a new TP-link router login password by assigning a new one.
·         Click on Save or Apply to save the settings of changed TP-link router admin password.

If you are unable to log into web-based interface of TP-link router, follow the following guidelines to access tplinkwifi.net for successful login and configuration:
·         Ensure that all the wired Ethernet cable connections are tight and secure.
·         Try TP-link router login through the default IP Address 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway for the TP-link router to access the TP-link router’s web interface.
·         Restart your TP-Link router by powering it off and then on and try to access tplinkwifi.net.
·         Try logging in to the web-based interface of TP-link router through different web browsers and end-devices. In case you have one end-device, like a computer, try to restart the computer or clear DNS cache on the computer.
·         Check if your IP address and Default Gateway is being able to be obtained on the end-device. If yes, write them down and then use the default gateway address 192.168.1.1 to log in to the TP-link router’s setup page if you have not changed the IP address of the TP-Link device.
·         Disable any firewall or anti-virus software enabled on your computer.
